The place was easy to find, very clean and updated. Their price list that is posted from 2 years ago is the same and they do give a discount for paying cash. Brow service is done in a chair and took about 5 minutes for threading. I also got brows tinted which took about 10 minutes. When I walked in, no one was at the front to greet me or ask what service I needed. The sign outside clearly said "Open," so I checked in and sat down. After waiting about 10 minutes, I finally called out, "Is anyone here?" because I could hear noise coming from the back room. A woman eventually came out wearing gloves and said, "We're open, but I'm busy right now." It looked like she was working on something in the back. I found this to be very unprofessional and poor customer service. If your business is open, someone should acknowledge customers, even if there's going to be a wait. Instead, I felt like I was being turned away because she was "busy." I've been a loyal customer at this location for years, so this experience was really disappointing. My stylist and I had been trying to troubleshoot together, so I went in simply to show what was happening in real time ,not to ask for anything free. Instead of being met with curiosity or problem-solving, I was immediately lectured about aftercare, interrupted multiple times, and spoken to with an attitude. I was pressed about whether I washed my lashes three times a week (it was only day five), and when I tried to explain what I was experiencing, I was told to "listen" rather than be heard. Then I was informed that because my stylist wasn't present, I wasn't eligible for any kind of consideration by her and that complimentary fixes are only offered within 48 hours of application. At no point did I ask for a free refill; I simply wanted someone to look at what was happening and help determine the cause or document for my stylist who wasn't present. Instead, I was treated as if I were trying to take advantage of the salon. This interaction should have been handled very differently. If a client is experiencing unusual shedding, the appropriate response is to document the issue, take photos, and follow up with the stylist and manager not to scold the customer or dismiss their concerns. For $180 plus tip a month, I expect basic professionalism, respect, and a clear escalation process when problems arise. Unfortunately, this experience made it clear that those things are not in place, which is why I ultimately cancelled my membership. For me, the lady told me she'd outline my eyebrows with a pencil then go through it carefully to pull that hair off. I was happy she said the wax is good for sensitive skin since I have that sort of skin type. She did a great job considering I told her how rough I had it in the past with the cheap salons I had been going to that ruined my pretty and natural eyebrows. Basically I came out of a cheap salon with a red mark for a week and was not a happy customer. I learned my lesson from then on to go with people I trust to wax my eyebrows. I went today after work to an empty salon and was greeted immediately by Nisha. She asked what services I came in for and asked if I was familiar with threading, which of course I was so there wasn't a whole lot of explaining to do. She asked if I wanted to clean up my brows or wanted to reshape them. After a quick chat to set the stage that I just wanted a clean up of my brows and maintaining the shape, she pointed me to a seat and it was time to hope that I came out with two nice, cleaned up, and even eyebrows.
