Mimi did an amazing job on my pedicure and full set! Asked what I wanted and did just that!

I tried giving this place a chance. My nails are uneven and bulky and they got a curve to them. $35 for a fill and they charge a fee if you use your card which is totally fine. I asked to get a stamp on my card and I was up to 4. The guy then proceeded to tell me that I can only get my card stamped if it was $40 or more. The card clearly says you must spend $20 or more to get a stamp. He's like well this is new and I was like well maybe you should inform everyone or switch out your cards. And he said he was in the process. Not my problem...he's very rude & tried to brush it off trying to be "funny". Also, I understand having competition but you should never put down another business who provides the same services just to make a buck. The guy "joked" and said if we wanted fungus we should head over to Venus nails.. so unprofessional. read more

This place does not sanitize there equipment. They pulled out a cuticle cutter from a package that was already open. Went in with my two girls and their friend got pedis and manis. Afterward my daughter kept complaining about how bad her finger hurt. Needless to say it was completely infected. I asked for a refund and the guy was very hostile and kept yelling. They wanted more than a picture to prove my daughters nail was infected. I've gone multiple times over the last few months. Once, just to get my eyebrows waxed. The lady's glasses were soooo dirty. Another time, I went for a pedi. Long story short, another woman and I waited an HOUR for our pedis. I felt like I was a hostage. They put your feet in the water basin so you feel bad to leave. Eyebrows and pedi took an hour and 20 minutes. The guy that did my pedi, talked me into the higher priced one and then didn't do my heels at all. Two weeks later, my nails are chipping. Not coming back here... ever again. I would do 0 stars but that's not an option on here. I recently moved to Atwater and was trying to find a salon (my first mistake was going here). My pedicure was horrible, the nail polish was so uneven. Makes you think how long have these people been doing this work for? Also, my nails were just hideous. The gel started peeling and lifting in less than a week, not to mention my first were so hard and dry after this pedicure and I don't have dry/hard feet???? . I should have seen the red flag when a girl walked in stating that yer acrylic nails had started lifting within 3 days. The guys there just brushed it off and tried to be funny by saying "that's good, so you can come back". I try to give places a chance but this place not only cannot paint nails correctly, it's also dirty. Seriously, go somewhere else. You will thank yourself for doing so. read more

Went in for a gel manicure and it was a terrible job. The manicure was patchy and lumpy and stuck to my skin. The whole time I was telling the man doing my nails that it was on my skin and that it was lumpy and to fix it but he just kept shaking his head and forcing my hand Into the UV light! I was not happy. They offered to fix it and they soaked it off and restarted and the second time around was mediocre at best. They made me wait 20 minutes after soaking to even start. I was there for 3 hours!There is still gel stuck to my skin and is still lumpy. I'm not happy and will never go back. They didn't offer to give me a discount or anything for that matter to make up for the inconvenience and they still expected full payment. I payed and left but i will say they have lost a customer. Finding a nail salon that isn't overcrowded on the weekend seems impossible but this place was able to get me in within the first 5 minutes I arrived and out within the next 35-40. The overall cleanliness of the salon itself was phenomenal and I really appreciated their modern appeal.
