My 3rd time thought give another chance and remembered why I haven't gone. The lady that did my pedicure was really nice and attentive. The nail lady is so flipping rude ugh. She's hecka rough twist your fingers every which way until it hurt. Nearly cut me with drill,files so flipping rough tell her if can make sure previous polish is gone she says polish will cover it still have white on nail. First off the massage chairs weren't working she tried to move me to another one not working I said I'll go to the other one that works then says they're new. My daughter was with me for pedi she kept tryna push gel on her she said no gel twice then I had to tell her regular she didn't like that said her shoes I said you have the flip flops right like she a minor ask the parent. She hurried to do my daughters nails too. I go to venmo pay her she asked then looks and then non oh you were this much your daughter this much like oh heels no you need to tell me upfront in the beginning money hungry don't care about customers only da money. came in asking for a simple eyebrow touch-up and made it very clear that I did not want my eyebrows thin. I naturally have thick eyebrows and only wanted them cleaned up. While the technician was working, I already felt like she was over-plucking, but I trusted her professionalism and let her continue. When she finished and handed me the mirror, I was devastated. My eyebrows were way too thin, completely different from what I asked for. I immediately started crying because of how upset I was. When I told her that she took off too much, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, she argued with me in a very rude and disrespectful way, claiming she didn't cut or touch my eyebrows much at all. That is absolutely not true, and the pictures clearly show it. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service was shocking. This was my first and last time coming here. After a bad experience at my local salon in Patterson, I was on the hunt for a good pedicure. I unfortunately have to travel out of town though it was definitely worth the drive. I did request to have the highest pedicure offered and there seemed to be a little confusion. It listed a clay mask but there was no clay during the service. Still was well worth the money spent. 4 stars only because the chair I was seated in wasn't fully functional. The kneading massage was not working. I didn't want the chopping on the back action that fully rattles the seat. lol. BAD QUALITY! I would not come back. She didn't want clients to leave, so she rushed through my nails and cut my fingers with the drill, as well as filed my natural nail very short. This place is absolutely fantastic. Cathy, the owner is a gem - so sweet, friendly and outstanding at doing nails. My acrylic/gel nails came out fabulous, much better than expected! By far one of the best locations I have ever been to (and I have been to many nail salons)! Such a great find in the small town of Newman! Only thing I will call out is that Cathy is the ONLY one that does nails here, she does not have any additional staff/help so definitely call and book ahead and I wouldn't recommend coming with a group/anyone else unless they want to wait for a while. I need a fill and pedicure, so I decide to drive 30 minutes and try out C's Nails. From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed with warm smiles and friendly greetings by Rosa and Lily. I was able tonsit in the massage chair until Rosa was free to begin my pedicure. I was offered water. And received a wonderful, thorough pedicure. Lily filled my nails with very minimal need to file due to the clean way that she applies the acrylic. Filing along the cuticle is so clean, they look real! The owner is very sweet and all but I've came here about 3 times and have left disappointed each time. I got a gel manicure the first which came off within 1week and a half, got it fixed as I had told her it was coming off already, and she painted them the wrong color and I didn't notice due to the lighting until I walked out and realized they were a color brighter then the original. I decided my 3rd time to give her another chance but this time with acrylic nails I figured maybe these would last longer and it might be more her specialty, she then offered a pedi cure which I agreed and had her husband I believe do they pedicure. This is where the real problem began for me, as he was beginning the pedicure I noticed he had gloves on he kept touching his phone going back and doing my toes touching his phone and then going back and doing my toes again he then continued to file down and massage my feet with the same gloves while still touching his phone back-and-forth in addition to that the tools that he used on my feet I never saw him take out of the new packaging like I have seen at other places. Before the pedicure I never had any itching peeling on my feet. About a week after I got my pedicure I started to notice some very small peeling on pinky, then slowly started getting worse and had to end up needing anti fungal lotion for my right foot. read more

But really disappointed on how I left the nail salon today I had asked for a specific French tip design and not till the end of the appointment she tells me she can't do it because she doesn't have Time and doesn't know how. I had even showed her the picture of what I wanted at the beginning and she had said she'd do it and ends up doing the complete opposite. She just kept saying she didn't have time and it was rushed nail work. If she would have told me since the beginning I would have never proceeded with the appointment. I use to love to go to Cathys, but I am sadly disappointed. This time when I finished getting my nails done I was so upset I cried. My overall experience was not a good one. I showed Cathy a picture and she said she could do it. I was very hesitant because she has said she can do something then can't but charges you for the work she did but took off. She started doing my nails and it was very rough. I pointed out the nude color I wanted and she used the wrong one saying it was "just the same" it wasn't. I pointed out the glitter I wanted and she okay. It's a simple thing you put polish and dip the nail in it. She said she couldn't do it grabs a glitter I didn't want nor asked for and painted my nails. She charged me $50 for this. read more
