When I contacted Angel Locksmith via Yelp Danny responded within an hour. We followed that up with a short phone conversation so that Danny was clear on what I needed done. In my case I need to have a new lock set installed which required enlarging the hole to accommodate the large holes used by modern lock sets. My door had the extra challenge of being made of steel. This was not a problem for Danny. He arrived promptly and handled the whole process in a very professional manner. In addition he took the time to correct some minor issues with the door hinges at no extra charge. He was so polished and professional at his work that he attracted the attention of a neighbor in my condo and she paid him to fix a lock for her too while he was onsite. Danny was awesome. We needed our back door lock repaired or replaced because we couldn't unlock it from the outside with our key. Our front door was a pain to close and lock--because of an alignment issue, we needed to press or pull firmly on the door to get it to line up properly in order to turn the deadbolt. I did a lot of research on area locksmiths this time, because the previous locksmith I used didn't do the best job on our front door, leaving us with the alignment problem. After narrowing my choices down, two locksmiths were at the top of my list. I decided to go with Angel Locksmith and I'm so glad that I did. I explained the problems and Danny was at our house within 30 minutes. He fixed the alignment problem on our front door and replaced the deadbolt mechanism with a newer smoothly operating one and put in a new doorknob that works like a dream! We can now lock and unlock the door with one hand! No more do I have to set my grocery bags down to lock the door! He replaced the backdoor lock as well and it works perfectly! Danny is more than just a locksmith--because he also does door installation and repairs, so if you're also having issues with the door itself, he's your man. Buyer beware. Try to change price on me after it was done because it was a swiped debit card and he wanted zelle so he tried to add another 4%. Guy was already getting $85 for 1 minute's work that's what he quoted me but he wanted another $3 and would not back down for swiping my credit card. I ended up having my wife send it zelle but I said it would be 15 minutes then he didn't want to wait and got mad wrote down my tag number and left. Instead of saying no don't worry about the $3 he said oh you want me to pay the $3?? I said yeah you're the merchant! He said no way! Kept arguing being rude. Called him on a Wednesday about 4 pm expecting to set up an appointment to look at my electronic deadbolt, and he said he could be over in less than an hour. He installed a new deadbolt and rekeyed it and noticed that the hole in the jamb for the door knob needed adjusting so he took care of that too. Since he was there I had him take a look at my patio door and he did some adjustment on the hinges and door knob and now this door closes better than it has in years. After a pressure cleaning of my front door area my front door no longer aligned and closed properly. I called Angel Locksmith and Danny came out and fixed everything very quickly.
