The music by the well know band "Two or More" was great. The brothers in the band stayed and talked at length with everyone. The fancy coffee drinks were oh so yum. Some of us sang worship songs after in group. All in all, quite a blessing read more

Definitely NOT a Christian owned or operated establishment! As I was sitting at a table, drinking my latte, I observed a gentleman come up to thr counter and ask if his drink was ready, and the staff began to scream and yell at him to the point that he got so upset, he yelled back and then they told him he had to leave... Even though he had been sitting in the concert / band area for over 20 minutes, and his stuff was in there, they accused Him of not having ordered! Even the girl behind the counter ultimately gave him all of his money back ($5 for the wrisband and oguess $5 for his drink) and they still accused him of not ordering and and I don't know what their problem with was was with this gentleman but he was seriously trying so trying to just ask them for his drink and they began to be right and be little him he wasn't homeless he wasn't something wrong with him he was very well dressed gentleman and this this is very very weird and when the manager came out to talk to him he didn't want to hear what happened he just asked him to leave and tried to force him to leave until he told him I'm not leaving without his hes not leaving without his phone and so the guy who goes OK fine and let him go get his phone and then told him never to come back - for ordering a drink that they took over 20 minutes to give to him, And then you never even got his drink. This is not an establishment I will ever do business with again. Not that it seems the management cares??? read more

I was told Angel City Cafe is a Christian owned place where Christian singers and bands can share their music and word in a very intimate setting. It is an unassuming cafe in what I think is Downtown Bellflower. I am no audiophille by any means, but if you are there for worship, song, and to celebrate your faith, this is a wonderful place to do it. They do have a snack bar in the back which has moderate pricing and a decent menu. I simply came here to see a friend perform and WOW! I would definitely return to the Angel City Cafe. read more

I was looking for a coffeehouse to visit- preferably one I hadn't been to before. I started off checking out steel craft Bellflower across the street, and almost literally stumbled into Angel City. There I met Manny, who greeted me warmly and struck up a conversation. He made me a fantastic caramel latte! I then met Luke and Cherie, two of the owner's children. We talked about the adventures of homeschooling. What a wonderful place! I'm coming back, and bringing my friends to hear live music and drink fantastic coffee! read more

Great people, great music, and great drinks. There's a lot of variety of bands there but they all love and lift up the name of Jesus. They are open Friday and Saturday nights from 7:30 pm on for concerts and Wednesday nights at 7 pm for Bible studies. They even have church services there on Sundays at 12:30 pm (in addition to two other Christian groups that have church services on Sundays at 10 am and 4 pm). I find myself hanging out here 4 days a week. Come join us sometime for awesome music and fellowship! read more

Angel City Cafe is a safe and fun environment, filled with God's love. I have been going there for years, my first time being when I was twelve years old. They have wonderful pastors there (Pator Clanny and Pastor Frank) who you can tell are on fire with The Holy Spirit. I love them both, and both have been a significant help to me in getting closer in my personal relationship with God. Red is an awesome guy there as well. I highly recommend going to this place and joining the spiritual family there. They have Christian bands, drinks (non alcoholic) for sell at the coffee bar in the back, bible studies, and great fellowship. One other thing that I think is really amazing about Angel City is that they really care for the community! This cozy, christain café offers different types of coffee's. They will attempt to make whatever you ask for. The café is going through a rebirth so the menu is still a work in progress. But because the café is such a friendly, family type of environment, suggestions, critics, and fresh ideas are ALWAYS welcomed. Friday and Saturday nights, they have local Christian bands show up to play for worship and fellowship. It's very easy to make some new friends. Soon you'll be coming by to hang out with your new friends, listen to some great music, enjoy some amazing drinks, and worship the Lord. Since they don't serve any alcohol, families are encouraged to attend. Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m., they hold a casual bible study group lead by Pastor Clanny Green. They also pray for those who request prayer and help. Anyone wishing to get to know our Lord better is encouraged to come. Sunday afternoon, at 12:30 p.m., they have a worship and bible study. That is lead by Pastor Frank Medina. I attended my first session about 2 months ago and I have never stopped going back. I was hooked from day one. Everyone there is so friendly and accepting. They truly treat you like family. I fell in love with everyone from that first day on. Pastor Frank is so down to earth and very approachable. He enjoys the interaction between himself and his congregation. They are not pushy, nor judgemental. Every second Sunday of the month they have a fellowship pot luck where everyone who comes to service, brings a dish. If you can't afford to bring something, it's okay. You can still partake in the fellowship pot luck. They have their bible study then eat and hang out with friends or make new ones. If your looking for support, friendship, love, and most importantly, GOD, then this is the place for you. Be a part of the café's rebirth. Be a part of a family. I LOVE Angel City. If I was living in the area, I'd probably be there a lot again. I used to go back in 2006-2008 as a musician. It is a really cool venue that gives indie artists the chance to perform. The venue itself is awesome. They have a concession stand to sell goodies. And Angel City does a lot to reach out to the community. I have many wonderful memories of Angel City and have been wanting to go back. read more

Angel City Café is a great spot to be able to share the gifts and talents that God has given you for His glory.
