I have a modest 3 bedroom 2 bath single family home. When I was able to take a HELOC from my bank I wanted to do some home improvements. I wanted to add a 4th bedroom and a 3rd bath plus get solar to help offset my summer electric bills. Anthony from Aneva Solar was one of the companies I called for a quote. Anthony arrived and surveyed my home and gave me a price that was a couple thousand dollars less than my previous best offer. He matched the equipment that I had been quoted and he did something no one else took the time to do. He answered my questions and explained how his product worked. He treated me as if I had a million dollar home and was buying a 100K system. By the time Anthony was finished speaking with me, I knew that I wanted to buy my system from Aneva Solar. It wasn't the fact that he quoted me 2 thousand less than my best offer, it was that I felt Anthony was going to do a great job and would not stop until I was satisfied. As the process begun I knew I was in good hands. Anthony personally did the install and every time I had a question he addressed it and gave me answers. Anthony told me that a tree I had in my back yard should be trimmed so not to cast a shadow on some of the solar panels. Anthony cut and disposed of the tree for me at no additional cost. Every day Anthony was at my home he would update me on the progress and answer all of my questions. He helped me though the APS paperwork and even did the electrical work changing my breaker box from a 100 amp to a 200 amp box. Once finished (which took about 2 weeks) Anthony flipped on the solar to test the system and I watched my meter run BACKWARDS!!!! Once APS gave its seal of approval we turned on the solar permanently and I noticed a 100 dollar savings on my last electric bill as compared to last years bill. I was so impressed with Anthony's workmanship, I hired him to do the electrical work in my new bedroom/bathroom. As an Arizona transplant, I hadn't thought about solar much until moving here and thus I was not educated about it at all. After meeting with 8 different companies, we originally boiled it down to 2, Aneva and someone else. I was extremely impressed by Scott who is a wealth of knowledge on the subject of solar and I by far learned the most from him out of anyone else I spoke to. We initially went with the other company because they just had too good of a price to pass up and I wrote Scott and email to explain our choice. He was incredibly gracious and said if I had any questions to still reach out to him even if we weren't working together because he was always willing to help regardless. This proved to be true as we emailed a few more times back and forth, right around the time in May when SRP was changing plans and adding more solar options. Long story short, I quickly found out why the other company had a lower price. It was a disaster from the start and they contacted me twice to add on to their original quote because they forgot this or that. Needless to say, I cancelled any work that was to be done with them and called Scott back and promptly set up a contract with Aneva. I'm incredibly glad at how this all played out, right from the frustrations with the other company all the way to being up and running with Aneva. I'm incredibly picky and I had the install crew adjust the way the panels were braced from underneath 3 different times (on 3 separate trips out, no less) so that they all lined up perfectly and to my liking. At no point did anyone at Aneva make me feel like I was asking for too much and they respectfully did what they needed to each and every time. The whole experience, from working with Scott on pre-sale, to working with Brian and Anthony on project setup, to the install crew, and Brian again afterwards for commissioning, was painless and I'd not hesitate to work with them in the future. They're respectful and honest and I genuinely enjoy talking with them. In short, they're just good people. My system has been running for about 5 months now and it's producing more than Scott originally quoted me which is fantastic. Bruce L. Peoria AZ Aneva Solar installed a solar system on my house about one and half years ago. They did a very professional job installing the system and it has been problem free since the install. With their installs they also work to provide an install that is uniform, with a look of symmetry when viewed from the street. Many solar company installs have a hodgepodge placement of panels that creates an overall unattractive appearance, which is not the case with Aneva Solar. They also offer a 20 year warranty on the system and a 5 year warranty on the roof against any issues with their install that might affect the integrity of the roof. Anthony and Scott designed a system to cover my expenses with APS for the minimum billable APS charges of around $19 to $21 per month. My system was designed at 115% of usage per APS billing from the year prior to the install. I would recommend at a minimum 115% and possibly 120% to assure that minimum billing is reached monthly, because solar power production levels are affected by the time of year or as a result of the affects of clouds and air quality. My APS billing since install has averaged around $20 per month with a range from $3.78 in December 2018 to $54.60 in January 2019. When APS billing costs are averaged over a one year period it averages to around $20 per month. In Dec. APS pays off your accumulated credits and does not allow for credits to carry forward into the next year which is why Dec is an unusually low cost month. Then in January you start over building credits to help offset billing in the upcoming months. I would recommend to anyone that they look at going solar and I would recommend Aneva Solar to do the install. read more

We recently had Anthony come out and install a 7kW Photovoltaic Solar System on our roof. The experience was very positive. Here are a few differentiating factors of why we easily chose Aneva Solar. First - Anthony came to our house, got up on the roof and then talked to us about what we wanted to do and his recommendation. Second - Anthony is very personable and answered all of our questions and kept us informed. Third - We never felt any pressure to buy or move forward, instead we felt comfortable to ask any question and could move when and if we were ready. Forth - We got quotes from multiple companies. Anthony's quote came in and it was better than next closest quote by about $3000 dollars. The other solar companies they said they could price match but at that point we knew Anthony was honest hardworking guy and we felt we could trust him with this big investment. After we decided to go with Anthony. He worked with us to get the latest SMA inverter and the few extra kW that we wanted. The permitting and install process went smooth. He kept us informed about the status of all the permits and schedule. The install was great. They even painted the conduits to match the house. You can't even tell that our house has solar on it unless you are looking for it. When the system was ready to be turned on he came over and walked us through the system answered our questions and was very helpful. Its been nearly 1 year since having Aneva install our PV system. My prior review noted the installation process and outstanding service we received from Aneva. After a year, I'm absolutely convinced we made the right choice going with Aneva Solar as our installer. I continue to recommend Anthony and his team to anyone considering solar. As to the system itself, we've had no problems or issues with any part of the system- panels or inverters. Based on my research both before and after the install, the panels and inverters Aneva uses are really good equipment. We haven't needed to contact Anthony or Scott for anything. One caveat (and Anthony and/or Scott will tell you this) anyone considering solar should be realistic about the system's production capability and return on investment. Production estimates are based on assumptions that all variables/conditions are perfect. We're generating credits with APS this summer, but Arizona does occasionally have clouds and the shorter days during the winter months do impact production. The orientation (North, South, East, West) of the PV array will also impact its production ability. Just be aware that the production estimates cannot control for all of the variables so the estimates aren't precise for your situation. We're very happy we made the leap to solar and if we move and need another system, we're going to use Aneva Solar again. read more

He started with providing a quote that was considerably detailed AND easy to understand so we knew exactly where we were spending money and how we would save. I recently had 33 LG panels installed and am pleased with Aneva's handling of this project. From my experience dealing with Aneva Solar this is what to expect. 1. Low pressure sales: No complex leasing options or financing scams. Anthony took the time to answer all my questions and gave me time to think things over (I took two months). The person doing the sales is also involved with the actual work, so you will benefit from accurate and detailed knowledge of the entire project. 2. Great experience working with Aneva Solar! We received a couple quotes for installing a solar system. The difference between Aneva Solar and other companies was night and day! Herb arrived on time, had a system sized, showed us expected rooftop pictures, and described all the components in detail. He answered our questions, discussed various cost scenarios, and gave us an education on solar and what to watch out for when receiving other bids. We loved that Avena uses their own employees on the entire project. One company showed up 45 minutes late and had to call their engineer to get the system configuration for our house. I asked many questions based on my new education, and the answers were all the issues I was warned about. We worked on the system configuration together and we ended up using the new higher capacity LG panels (which also brought down the count a bit). Project manager Chris was great to work with and was always in communication with us. The system was installed on schedule and minor issues with roof tiles were fixed without delay. I struggled with a solar decision for 2 years. I was averaging $350 a month in APS electric bills and over $500 per month in summer months. I had estimates and consultations with several solar providers. Aneva provided a very competitive estimate and was using highly rated components. I finally decided on Aneva. I was not disappointed! They provided very professional consultations during my decision making process. When I finally signed the work order, I could not have been more impressed with the work they performed! I decided to have my 20 year old roof resurfaced during the installation process. Aneva worked closely with the roofing contractor to provide the best result possible to avoid later problems. They also arranged all of the necessary county and city permits and inspections. Aneva has a wonderful crew! The project manager, the office staff, and all of the technicians were a pleasure to work with. After the system went online Aneva has done periodic followups as promised to be sure system is operating as planned. I just purchased Solar from Aneva Solar. I have been in the market for Solar for some time and I have talked to a lot of companies. Almost all of them seemed like they were there to just sell Solar. I highly recommend Aneva Solar. I was referred to this company from a colleague where I work. This colleague does his homework, so I knew he would have good reason to go with them. He sent me his contract that broke down the price, brands they use for panels, and price per watt/PPW (the primary factor to consider for your system). I then did a lot of research myself. Other companies could not compete and relied on cheap marketing gimmicks that were frustrating to me who had more knowledge than the people who came to make the sales. Aneva on the other hand knew their business. At first Aneva's post COVID price per watt were higher than my colleague's pre-COVID contract, but it was still much better than other companies. But then, even after I approved the purchase, Aneva's supplier came out with a much better panel at a lower cost and in the end, I got a better PPW than my colleague. Aneva has been 100% professional with follow-ups, answering questions even after the sale. I highly recommend this company. We found Aneva Solar by searching on the Internet and were impressed by their reviews. We felt they were a company we could trust to do a good job. Our family business, Scottsdale Bedrooms, spent around $9,000 a year for our electric services from APS. We were looking to solar as a way both to save money in the long run and to be a renewable source of energy to power our store. Aneva did a great job designing our solar array, communicating with APS, securing permits with the city of Scottsdale, and with the final installations of the grid. It is quite impressive! Anthony of Aneva Solar installed our solar system about 1 year ago and I was more then satisfied with his service, pricing and the final product. I hired Aneva Solar because they promised to put up a neat system that would not be too obtrusive. We worked on a design that would render us with a 50 to 60% decrease in our electric bill where most of the panels would be on our north-facing roof and some additional panels on the side and front. He also promised to make sure that all wiring to the panels would be inside our attic and that the converter would be inside our garage. They delivered on their promise. Their price was most competitive, their work was neat and clean and the product perfect. They used the better panels (I think from Korea . . . not China). They showed up on time and when promised. Like most reviewers, we did a lot of shopping around and discussed several options with numerous "top rated" companies. Truth be told, Aneva was not the cheapest option. They were right in the middle of the range but they were offering the best balance of generation versus cost. We ended up going with Aneva because of their customer service. They were completely upfront about the entire process and helped explain every detail of the process and went beyond to explain the billing process from SRP. None of the other companies were able to accurately explain how SRPs demand charges work. Near the end of our decision process, we were torn between two companies then found out the other company used a subcontractor for the actual install. Avena was completely all in house employees!! Update: After completing first year still very happy with Aneva solar.System is functioning well and production of Kilowatt energy was exactly amount they predicted. Follow up on my questions during the year was done quickly. Post instillation service is excellent, they didn't forget me after the sale. Hard to find a business like this these days. For reference here is my first review from last year: Aneva Solar provided clear understandable explanation of solar energy and their products. I received a detailed estimate that was accurate and easy to understand. They use the highest quality products (from my research). Job was completed on time and after using the system for few months it is flawless. One thing that impressed me was Aneva's well trreated employees who were professional and well trained, This may seem silly but I noticed their trucks were very clean, it tells you a lot about a company who has pride in their own equipment and treats employees well. We selected Aneva for the installation of rooftop solar. Aneva was fantastic from beginning to end. Frank in sales was responsive, informative, and trustworthy. The installation team did great work and we were kept fulling informed by Buddy the whole time. Of course I would like to have had the system up and running sooner but it was accomplished in a reasonable timeframe (waiting for APS was another story). So far, the system production is very much in-line with what we were told - although it has only been a couple of weeks. What gives me confidence going forward is Aneva keeps in touch and schedules meetings to assess the system and will take action if something isn't performing to expectations.
