Aneva did the ground installation of the solar panels for us last summer. Yep, their crew worked smack in the middle of it. We do appreciate all the work the kids had done and it looks awesome and also produces a lot of energy. We picked Aneva for the following reasons: 1. Sales guy Mark G is a pro. He looked at our house, consumption and offered a solution that fit us specifically. We did not even think of ground installation but it did turn out to be the best fit for us. When you have an expensive clay tile, installing solar panels on them is not an option- contrary to other contractors belief ;) 2. Crew is wonderful and worked their buts off in this heat. I had to work a lot and was not up to supervising but they really did not need to. Their PM even stopped showing up- but I am sure he would if you prefer more hands on experience. 3. We are getting a Lot of solar even though a tid bit of panels are in a shade in the morning. Aneva has a design person who works with your sales guy to come up with the great design for placement based on the lot or house. Couple of things to share - hopefully informational and some are general solar related ;) 1. If you want solar and want to finance - use anything but solar financing.. it is predatory and usually comes at 20% upfront fee( yep still legal). We were explicitly told about it by the other bidder but would suggest to Mark to include this bit of info in the discussion. 2.probably would have done a bit more communication upfront as we had no idea what went into plans, approvals until I asked a day before the work started. It turned out great anyway;) and I would rather be hands off than on. bottom line is if you are more of a control freak - your sales guy and front desk are super responsive so just ask them. 3. Whoever was depositing checks along the way (4 payments I believe ) was above replying to emails. Again that's why Mark and front desk are there to help 4. Aneva has a special clean up guy!!! He is awesome and takes care of everything that PM could not 5. I think it takes some time to figure out but generator is really helpful on big ground jobs. Our outlets were not able to carry the needed load. So the crew rolled in one. 6. We had to replace the electric panel and the crew did it wonderfully. But picture having no electricity/ Wi-Fi for half a day in AZ summer... 7 Solar install is still quite expensive but electricity costs from the grid are not going down either. Although we are not completely independent we do enjoy with Aneva's help ;) -generating solar power, paying at this point almost nothing to APS and occasional enjoyment from virtue signaling to all the Prius and Tesla drivers ;) oh yes, and the fed tax refund too read more

Aneva Solar made us very happy with our decision to go solar. Anthony (the owner of the company) came to our house and explained all the costs, where we would see savings, where we wouldn't, how net metering worked, how the warranty would work on the inverter, how the installation would go - he answered all our questions and came up with a plan we could work with. It took a while before we could turn it all on; it was two months after the installation was complete before the power company inspected it and gave it their blessing. But when they did, Anthony came out again and went over all the ins and outs of operation. We are very happy with the installation and the savings we are currently enjoying. We had Aneva install our panels last October and have been incredibly impressed by them every step of the way. They are excellent with communication, patient and responsive to any questions we had, and they are just plain good at what they do. We recently thought maybe a panel was causing a leak in our roof and they sent Joe out immediately to take a look. We knew we wanted to buy solar panels right after moving to Arizona and hearing about high electric bills in the summer. We used to live in Hawaii and saw how it became more difficult to get solar as the market became saturated and electric costs continued to rise. After checking out the ratings of several companies, we decided to go with Aneva Solar and we could not be happier. Their response time is great. Scott Thompson gave us a detailed report on how much we would save with solar, including tax cuts. He also showed us that in about 6 years our solar would be producing more than it initially cost. Not only was the pricing reasonable, but we also liked that the inverter was placed in the garage and not outside in the Arizona heat. The other thing we liked about Scott is that he didn't push to sell us anything. Aneva's solar service has also been wonderful. Anthony kept us updated on when our activation would occur through APS. He helped resolve an issue with the portal that improved our view of solar production on the app. About 9 months later, we noticed one of the panels wasn't producing electricity. Let me start by saying I have been in sales myself for over 35 years, the last 20 in the financial markets. So I did my due diligence and spoke with and met several solar companies. When I met Anthony the owner at Aneva I knew I found the right company. He's very honest and not high pressure like so many of the other companies. The rest of the office is exceptional as well. I truly believe this is the best solar company in the entire valley. I have not had my system installed yet and i will update my review once it's installed in approximately 60 days.( Waiting on APS and city of Peoria) All the companies told me about the same time frame. Do yourself a favor and talk with at least 3-5 solar companies and than call Aneva. I GUARANTEE YOU WILL CHOOSE ANEVA! If you don't you will have sold yourself short. In my case I had talked with well over 5 and found they were all high pressure. You can save yourself time after getting educated with one or two presentations and proposals at home by calling and talking to the companies on the phone to get their proposals. You will get a real good feel for the companies and than call Aneva. Just don't commit to anyone before calling Aneva. I actually had signed a contract with the first company that came out because the salesman said he would give me 10 days to cancel as opposed to the 3 days by law. I told him I was going to be be doing my due diligence and I asked him if he would give me a better price. He said he couldn't and that I was getting their best offer. When I called in to cancel I ended up speaking with one of the owners who suddenly lowered their price by $5,000. Yes you heard that right. At this point I did not care if what price they quoted me. That was very shady and it became an integrity issue with me. By the way this company was still priced higher than Aneva with cheaper panels and an inferior warranty. If I had not educated myself and had the background of being in sales for 35 years I would have fallen prey to this first companies nice presentation and the likability of the sales rep. I mention all of this so that you don't get fooled. If you trust me just save yourself time and call Aneva and be done with it. But if you want to experience what I did and feel really good about your decision, call Aneva last after all your other proposals and you will want to thank me. I was quoted higher prices with cheaper panels and many of those companies don't even employ their installers, they sub it out. At Aneva everyone is an employee and Anthony the owner will be overseeing the crew that installs your job. The way Anthony explained to me how the install will take place was phenomenal. It will be very clean without all those conduit lines running across my roof like you see with other companies workmanship.(Start looking at other solar jobs and you will see what I mean) Most of the sales people in this industry know very little and work on commission and will tell you anything to get the job done, and once you commit to them, you are just a number and they are onto the next potential client. Trust me i spoke with so many of these guys and when I told them I was looking elsewhere, they got very rude and tried to make me feel stupid or use scare tactics. You won't get any of that with Aneva. I was quoted with top of the line LG industry leading panels, at a lower price than most of these companies with lower rated panels and workmanship. I could have gotten these lower priced panels with Aneva for even less than what these other companies were offering, but I went for the higher quality, and again I am saving money with the LG's over the other cheaper brands I was quoted. In doing my homework, I found Aneva and was influenced by the other reviews I read. I am so happy I met Anthony and had him come out. You won't feel any pressure, just peace and confidence that you have finally met your solar company. I don't know any other way to say this without sounding rude or insensitive, but if you're in the market for solar and don't at least call Aneva, you're being VERY foolish. read more
