This restaurant looks beautiful, however, we were unable to experience the food. When we first walked in, we noticed there's a 4% charge on all credit and debit cards,so if you would like to avoid that, make sure you bring enough cash. We were seated and no one came to serve us after about ten minutes of waiting. Another larger party was seated after us got served quite quickly. We also looked around and noticed that many people had not yet received any food. We made a decision to leave and go to a different restaurant where we were immediately seated, served and provided with excellent service. I can't really talk about the quality of food, but I wanted to comment on the poor service and extra fee in case anyone else wanted to know. I did give 2 stars due to the beautiful decor and how yummy the chips and salsa looked. If only we were able to try them...

Guacamole so yummy

The food is so fresh and delicious. Enjoyed our meal on the patio with the cool evening breeze. The service was quick and friendly fly.

Ribeye with tostones, rice, and mixed vegetables
Susan L.

I ordered medium rare for the ribeye, but it came out medium well and underseasoned. The steak was pretty thin, so perhaps thatnmadenit difficult to be cooked medium rare. The ceviche was good and well marinated. Everyone else at my table enjoyed their food.

Street nachos look great, but are salty and meats over marinated.

The service was great and the menu is huge. The food? It's okay, but we both said we wouldn't be back. The food is ok, but that's about it. Walking in at lunch today we were greeted with an in your face sewer smell. They said it was fixed and airing out, but it was still very offensive. The spicy guacamole sounds and looks amazing!! Eating it though, very challenging. Completely over engineered for looks and not consumption. My street tacos were ok. The meat was way over marinated and mushy - which is different than tender, lol.

Side of refried beans and chimichanga lunch platter. Look at that chimi! It's bundled up like a gastro prize and it was!

I am so sorry I have just driven by this place for a couple years. I took a friend to lunch today and it was fabulous! The food was fresh and super flavorful and the presentation of the lowly chimichanga was inspired. It's 8pm and I'm still stuffed from noon. The prices are fair and the house margarita with a literal optional salt lick was stupendous. I never get 2. I had 2. Don't wait. Just go.

Kids meal

Really enjoyed this place. Hit right about happy hour time. Very busy and very loud. Our server was great. Very attentive. We asked for the kids meal to come out first while we looked over the menu and she made that happen. Chips and salsa are fresh. Salsa is not spicy at all. They do have a habanero sauce that is delicious if you like spicy! Highly recommend.

Jalapeño Margarita w extra Tajín

The food here is good. We used to be regulars but stopped coming because service is VERY slow. Unfortunately this was our last time because dinner service took over 2 hours for an app, two entrees and two margaritas. I'd recommend for take out but I wouldn't recommend this place if you're in a hurry for dine in.

Arroz con pollo

I always love coming to this little spot. The food is always super flavorful. Two rounds of complementary chips and salsa. If you can taste the homemade effort into every dish. Drinks are a little pricey and they don't do any specials. But you do get what you pay for so that's the upside. Margaritas are delicious and always poured correctly. The location on itself is super fun and vibrant. Come check the out

We love Anejos! We've been regulars for a couple of years, all of their food and margaritas are delicious!

Anejo Burrito (big burrito)
Debi W.

Great food, service and staff. This is the first time we've tried the fried cheese tacos and although hard to eat with your hands. We did fine using a knife and fork. The flavors were so good--especially the blistered jalapeños. Our friends got the Anejo Burrito and sharing it they still couldn't finish it. Well worth the price.

Shrimp fajita

I recently met a family member here for dinner on a Wednesday evening. They arrived before me and was seated right away as the place wasn't very busy. Our server came over right away and provided menus, water, chips and salsa. By the third time they came to the table, we were ready to order. I decided to go with the shrimp fajita with all of the fixings except the tortillas. My family member ordered the quesadilla. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the orders were correct. I enjoyed the shrimp fajita, it was seasoned well. I didn't hear any complaints on the quesadilla. Our server checked on us a couple of times, which was cool. The vibe was more bar-like in terms of the level of sound. There were several tables and booths full of people but enough room for us to be spread out from each other. There 2 tables celebrating a birthday so that added some cheer to the atmosphere. Overall, I'd say it was good and I would come here again, at least for the fajitas.

Rebecca C.

The number one thing I was impressed by at this restaurant was speed. The speed our server came to check on us and also how quick our food came out. I always get worried by the quality of food based on how fast it comes out, but I was happily surprised the food tasted great. The queso dip was flavorful and smooth. The enchiladas were so tasty and the corn tortillas held up against the sauces. The restaurant layout is a bit tight but they do have a second layer back room. I went on a Friday evening and it was quite popping.

Victoria S.

Me and my coworkers ordered from here for lunch. I had never heard of this place before but the inside is so nice. Just from picking up the food quickly I got such a good impression of the staff they were so nice. Everything was plated nicely even though it was a to go order. Everyone really enjoyed the food as well. I think this is one of the best Mexican restaurants around here honestly. The food was really delicious. I would definitely come back here!

I ordered the Lemon Drop, which was an easy 9/10. It was smooth, refreshing, and well balanced. The Mucho Gusto also earned a 9/10 and was another drink I'd happily order again. The Emerald just wasn't my favorite, but that's the fun of trying something new. I also sampled a few drinks my friends ordered, and there were several that I'd love to come back and order for myself. The atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. The wedge salad topped with crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes, avocado, and blue cheese was beautifully presented and crisp. Desserts: We finished with a decadent, smooth crème brûlée topped with fresh berries and a rich, dark chocolate cake accompanied by a sweet berry reduction. Atmosphere & Service: The service throughout the evening was attentive and helpful. While the music inside was a bit on the loud side, the seating arrangements were comfortable and pleasant, making for an overall great dining experience. The space itself is beautiful, stylish, and has a great upscale atmosphere. Service was also amazing throughout our visit, friendly, attentive, and easily one of the strongest parts of the experience. We started with the rosemary focaccia, and this was easily the highlight of the entire meal. It was delicious and something I would absolutely recommend ordering. Unfortunately, everything after that was a bit of a letdown. The salad had way too much going on for my taste. Between the peas, pistachios, various fruits, and all the other components, there were just too many competing flavors and textures. I appreciate a creative salad, but this one felt overly complicated rather than cohesive. The steak wasn't cooked to my liking, and the portions overall were surprisingly small, especially considering the price point. We also tried the cake for dessert, but it was extremely rich, to the point where a few bites were plenty for me. Overall, 3/5. The service and atmosphere were fantastic, and I would definitely recommend the rosemary focaccia, but it says something when the bread was honestly the highlight of the meal. I'd consider coming back for drinks, focaccia, and the ambiance, but based on this visit, I wouldn't rush back specifically for dinner.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list.
