The chips are a little on the thicker side and the salsa was fantastic with a nice spice to it. Many of the items on the menu do not come with rice and beans, that is an extra. Unless you're ordering the combination plate or a specific meal rice and beans are not included as they typically are at a Mexican restaurant. The combination plate was OK is it could've used a little bit more flavor. The ground beef was not something I would go back for as it was very soupy and flavorless. Overall, this is solid choice for Mexican type food with a little room for improvement.

I highly recommend requesting her if you dine in. The chips and salsa were good and we appreciate the three salsa options provided and plenty of chips to go around. I decided on the steak and chicken fajita's ($25) and a double Margarita ($9.50). Our food arrived in about 15 minutes, my fajitas came out sizzling just the way I like them, good job! The fajitas come with sides and you receive a good amount of food, no skimping. I was also able to sample one of their Quesada's, which was delicious. Vienna was kind enough to bring over some fresh Churro's and dipping sauce for the birthday song, and there was enough for everyone in our group to try, which was really nice. The Churro's were fresh, hot, had a great crunchy exterior, and perfect blend of seasoning. The restaurant is not really big so it can get crowded during peak times. It is beautiful inside and could make for a nice date night with the wife next time she wants something special. Pricing is a bit high when compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. I was completely satisfied with my meal and experience but know that you can find more affordable options if you are looking to save some $$$$. All-in-all, great experience, and I would recommend them.

I ordered the ( lunch) steak fajitas for lunch, and I was charged an additional fee for the rice and beans. The menu indicated that the fajitas came with rice and beans, so I was surprised to see an extra charge on my bill. In addition, some of our friends had some type of surcharge added to their bill. I have ordered fajitas at many restaurants, and I have never encountered a situation where the rice and beans listed as part of the meal were subject to an additional charge. I asked my server about it and she said I'm sorry, but beans and rice are extra. I paid the bill without further disputing the charges because I did not want to make an issue of it at the time. However, I believe these additional fees should be clearly disclosed on the menu so customers can make informed decisions before ordering. Unfortunately, this experience has left me disappointed, and I do not plan to return. The friends who accompanied me also expressed that they will not be returning.

Not overpowering but the reassuring smell that they take food safety seriously. They are located in a Publix shopping plaza and have booths, tables and a bar with stools. I sat in a booth and came specifically for lunch because Amanda, another Yelper, had called out the deals. I was really impressed with their salsa. Usually I want queso but this had such a fresh taste and to me had an old school chunky texture you rarely find. I ate way too many of the complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered the lunch ribeye and the lunch chicken fajitas. The fajitas came out in the traditional sizzling presentation. They tasted as good as they looked with all the fixings. The steak was for later. A lot of time a thin lunch steak does not come out to a medium rare. This was spot on and the steak was juicy and tender. A really good steak! Both meals came with tortillas that maybe were homemade? The server greeted me and took my order right away. I had asked for some modifications and I thought it was nice she repeated them back to me so the kitchen would get it right. My bill was presented and quickly processed on a handheld device. Overall the ambiance of this restaurant is a neighborhood family place. I appreciated that they offer extremely neat bathrooms and a selfie wall for celebrations.

We heard about this place from our friends so when it was time to get the gang together- I said hey…read moreshould we go to Zacapa? She said YES! On arrival, the staff remembered my friend. They're like- cilantro allergy right? Hahahaha. Then they say us at two large tables in the back. Thank goodness because everyone had their kids so there were 5 adults and 4 kids. We had plenty of room back there for the kids to be kids. Our server was great. I had no idea they would tack on 20% tip to our bill, but she wasn't slacking. She was still earning that tip. She brought out chips and salsa and then got our drink order. That helped keep the kids occupied. My friend suggested the margarita flight- so I went for it. The menu is an iPad with pictures of everything but it's also a lot of clicking back and forth and kind of overwhelming. My friend loved the carnitas fajitas and got that again. She gave me a bite- the pork was in chunks but it was so flavorful and tender. I had the shrimp tacos- wow! There were four huge shrimp in each taco (3 tacos) so it was about 3/4 of a pound of shrimp or maybe even a pound! Mine came with a side of rice and beans- which you can adjust a little but not too many options exist. I did not want beans but I also did not want double rice lol. Hers came with the usual fajita stuff- lettuce, guac, salsa, cheese, and sour cream. Both dishes came with your choice of corn or flour tortillas The guys got the chicken fajitas and the molcajete, which came w the same platter of sides and tortillas. There was food everywhere. The kids got chicken tenders, black beans, refried beans, rice, white queso dip and macaroni and cheese. They all kinda shared and of course didn't finish their food. I think they got full on chips and salsa. The margarita flight I had has many choices for flavors. I got kiwi, coconut and blackberry. All were very good but all very sweet. They put a lot of syrup in there. I think you'd be better off just getting a regular margarita or one flavored one because the flight cups are smaller than typical margarita glasses. So if they're putting one squirt of syrup, it's probably too much for that little glass. So next time I'll just get the coconut margarita. They have churros and what not but we opted against dessert. The kids wanted ice cream from the place down the plaza (Violet's- it's great! See my review). We boxed up our leftovers (I couldn't eat all three tacos; I had one left, plus my rice and beans) and paid the tab. She was nice to split it up by family and I'm sure that was not easy! I did not use the restroom but most of us did. The restrooms look like singles but they're not. The women's has two stalls behind that door so don't get caught waiting in the hallway. Go inside. My friend's kid didn't wanna wait or couldn't wait so they went straight to the men's, thinking the women's was a one stall. Hahahaha. Parking is hard to find because it's a busy plaza. We had to park all the way down by Fishbones where the parking lot is a lot bigger. They have a front part of their restaurant which also has some bar seating and then that more quiet back room where we were seated. I would recommend this place. It's a little pricey for Mexican food but it's really good. (Also it's hard to mess us Mexican, I get it). I was impressed by the amount of shrimp in my tacos and the amount of pork carnitas and chicken fajitas they put on their platters. They also have quite a selection of flavors for their margs.

My Go-To Spot for Ladies Night, Margaritas & Mexican Magic!…read more If you ask my bestie where we're headed for ladies' night, chances are we're making a beeline for Garibaldi. At this point, their staff should probably have our margaritas rims ready before we even sit down. I've worked my way through quite a bit of the menu, and one thing remains true: the food is always fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicioso. Our favorites include the salsa, queso, chips & guacamole (because let's be honest, chips and salsa are basically a love language), the Birria Empanadas, and the Steak Garibaldi. Every bite is so good it's practically a queso emergency when the plate is empty. The atmosphere is lively, welcoming, and perfect whether you're planning a girls' night, date night, Taco Tuesday, or simply looking for an excuse to avoid cooking. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and helps keep the good vibes flowing right alongside the margaritas. Speaking of margaritas... the tropical mango margarita with the Tajín rim deserves its own Yelp page. Sweet, tangy, refreshing, and dangerously easy to order "just one more." So here's my advice: come for the tacos, stay for the vibes! Garibaldi continues to be one of my favorite local spots, and I'll definitely be back for more chips, more laughs, and more margaritas. Cheers!
