Dropped in for a quick lunch as soon as we hit town. Fish tacos were a solid choice. Husband ordered the Cuban sandwich and he's still talking about it. Came for birthday lunch after walking the pier. The fried cheesecake for the birthday boy was great as well as the various seafood options!

Ordered a house burger, onion rings, and whitefish. Husband said the fish was the best he has had; not greasy, cooked perfect, 2 filets lightly dusted in seasoned flour and corn meal. Onion rings were beer battered.a tad better then run of the mill onion rings. Burger was a 2 patty wagu smash burger. Seasoned and cooked wonderfully. Served with bib Lettuce (wilted), purple onion, dill pickle chips, thinly sliced tomato. Mayo, mustard, ketchup on the side. Bun was soft but no too soft. It held the 2 patties and condiments well without getting soggy and falling apart. Had the key lime pie. Filling was tart as I like but tasted like the key lime juice was cut with lemon juice. The crust had a good flavor but the consistency was much like sawdust. Not like a crust I have ever had! It was decent. I left the crust. We would go back again. read more

Not Great... Not Even Good.... half a star. Andy D's is basically a high functioning Tourist Trap that's managing to stay afloat thanks to being one of only two restaurants in close proximity to the Navarre Beach hotels. Anywhere else, and this place wouldn't stand a chance. They have a ridiculous amount of staff roaming the joint but still fail to get the simplest dishes out in under 30 minutes. I ordered the Tacos with Blackened Chicken, and my wife got the Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich. The Tacos came to the table on a scalding hot plate, but the chicken was cold to the touch (wrap your head around that one) and it tasted like the chicken you get in the giant bag in the grocery store frozen food section. They essentially chopped a frozen patty and placed a tiny half on each taco after sprinkling some blackening seasoning on it...disgusting. My wife said her sandwich was dry (who screws up chicken salad??). The "Lemonade" was a bitter, translucent yellow tinted liquid. The Bahama Mama came in a chintzy plastic cup and was watered down enough that you could safely serve it to a child. Andy D's has only been here a year so far, and it's their first tourist season. The spot's changed hands so many times in the last few years, so we'll see if they last long enough to serve next year's round of tourist-trapped suckers before another restaurant takes its place. Just know this local ain't going near that joint ever again. read more

We rolled in as a party of 11 on a busy Thursday night around 6:45. I was quoted a 45 minute wait and our first pleasant surprise was that it only took about 30 minutes to be seated! Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. My SIL is vegetarian and celiac. When she ordered the impossible burger with gluten free bun, our server made sure to confirm that the fries were ok since they are fried in the same oil as their fried fish. She also knowingly had the kids entrees come out before the adult entrees since they had to split our ticket due to the big party. Appetizers included fried grouper bites (little buttery nuggets of yum!), and chips, salsa and queso. The queso is fine, but nothing to write home about. The house also has a nice depth of flavor and just a little spice. I had the crab cakes and they were so good that I nearly ordered a second round to go! Sort of still wish that I had! Hubby really enjoyed the white fish (fried). It was a very large portion too. MIL really liked the grouper platter. Kids had the chicken tenders and fries which are pretty standard. Nice touch is that they toss a two pack of Oreos in the basket for built in dessert. For 11 people (6 adults, 5 kids, two apps, three mixed drinks) our total before tip was about $260. Service wasn't bad, ambiance is well lit. The food honestly kinda sucks. Bland food and standard beach menu. For a sit down restaurant, the food feels like a theme park walk up. I ordered a beer and the grilled mahi sandwich. The mahi was oddly watery and bland. Portion size and price was alright. The beer was on some weird glass that made it feel smaller than a 12oz beer. Definitely didn't feel like a typical 16oz pour from a draft. Overall I'd go to windjammers and just expect to get decent fried items and a full size beer. read more

Worst food I've had in years for inflated prices. The service was great but the food was absolutely awful. The salad was old and limp. The gator bites were so over cooked I could have used them as chewing gum. $18 for a tiny handful of gum. The oil they were fried in was old oil as well. The tempura de sauce was tasty but with nothing edible to dip in it it was pointless. The margarita had next to no lime in it and was waaaaaay too sweet. It was really cheap sour mix. The crab stuffed mushrooms were so-so, very little crab in them and overly greasy. I tried my daughter's fish from the kids menu and the batter was so salty it was almost inedible. I can't even give these people 1 star. I'm only giving a star because I can't leave a review without leaving a star. We came in at 2:40PM and it took these people 15 minutes to take our order, 30 minutes to bring us our soft drinks, 45 minutes to bring our alcoholic drinks. We STILL haven't gotten our food at 3:45PM, but have watched the WHITE tables around us get all of their drinks and food. The waiter did not even BOTHER to check in with us and give us a heads up that the food will be coming later than anticipated. This is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and just a terrible display of service. The place is not even fully occupied, so there's no excuse for the lack of communication and EXTREME delay in service, while its waiter's walking out the kitchen chewing food. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch. Was seated right away. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the view. Our waitress greeted us and took our drink order while we looked over the menu. I ordered the redfish grilled with seasoned vegetables and coleslaw slaw. My husband ordered the stuffed crab but was told they were out. As a matter of fact they haven't had it since the restaurant opened in February. Waitress said it was available for the first 2 days then they ran out. She didn't know why it was still on the menu. My first visit was during lunch hours . The waitress disappeared on us and when I went looking for her I couldn't find anybody ! The food was just mediocre . The second time the thing I wanted for dinner they did not have although it was on the menu I was not told that they were out of it . My husband got the redfish basket and he got it blackened but it had very little flavor to it and my chicken sandwich was like rubber ! We will not be back ! I had the house burger with veggies and my wife had the mahi tacos with side salad. We also ordered dessert to go, which was peanut butter pie and chocolate cake. The burger was good and cooked perfectly. It was plenty big enough. My wife liked the tacos but were a little spicy for her. The main meals overall were good. I feel the peanut butter pie slice was very small for the $8.00 cost. The cake was double the size of the pie and was very rich and delicious as was the taste of the pie. This place was busy since it was a Friday night. Party of 9 but only a short wait. The white sangria was so delicious. Andy D was making rounds at the tables and gave some very good suggestions. Our party had the blackened redding, crab stuffed mushrooms, grouper bites, Cuban sandwich, chicken Alfredo, and hamburgers made with Waygu beef. Everything was so good. But the best part was the finish. The deep-fried cheesecake was absolutely the best dessert I've had in a very long time. I will definitely be back. We were on vacation from Houston TX. We stayed at a condo located in Navarre near Andy D's while we were on vacation. We enjoyed going there several times. I recommend their Potato Kegs, they're delicious. I even purchased one of their stuffed red octopus's (so cute I couldn't resist) and named him Andy D. We can't wait to visit again one day. Service is excellent. All the staff are pleasant and attentive. The bartenders are outstanding. The can personally say the Grouper and Red Fish are fresh and tasty. The music bingo on Thursday was fun. The patio has music and is quite busy. Although Happy hour brings people in, the food brings in many more people.
