This is my new favorite place to hang out in Springfield. Great bowling facility. They have a VIP (VIB) bowling section. Very nice laser tag setup and arcade. Came for a Christmas party and had such a blast. Catered food was spot on. If anything the chicken pieces were the star of the food train and we wish we ordered more of those. Sliders were good too. We had the side party room and a filled every lane. The bowling was a blast and the staff kept everyone looked after. Will look to use this place again. read more

I give them two stars because they were on the library flip card. The shoes stuck on the floor, they would not turn off the foul sensor for a 5 year old so scores were not great. As a family place I would have to disagree I am sure it is fine for adults who have their own equipment and shoes. read more

Went to a child's birthday party here as well as a couple other times. The timed bowling is the only real downside here for me other than it's priced kind of high. But that's supply and demand. They bring plenty of people in. The restaurant always has vacant seats though as the food is kinda pricey. The arcade games are fun but IPC has more and is a better place to go for gaming. The laser tag here blows IPCs away. It is amazing. Did it as a part of the birthday party. The kids had a blast as did the adults who played. The bowling was fun but the time thing. If you play until your time is out you will have to leave a game unfinished. As far as the kids birthday party it was amazing. A lady even waited on the kids filling drinks. The private room had a tv with music videos. The only downside is the super high price. Man it was awesome but not worth the money for me. That's a family of three season tickets at SDC amount of money for a day of fun. Overall I like the place. I have had the pizza and the burgers. Both were good. You'll save a lot of money sharing a pizza though. And it's just as good. Basically the cost and timed bowling are what's keeping me from rating it 5 and becoming a regular. Update. Came here tonight after sons ball game. Beer prices not on menus. Got two drafts in a glass. $8 each. Highway robbery. Ended up being half the bill for dinner. read more

This is a top tier bowling alley! Everything is new and well kept. They have some very delicious food items that are brought right to your lane as you bowl. Especially the reverse crab Rangoon's. The price per person is roughly $10 a person. Further the arcade and virtual reality are pretty good too. read more

I would have loved to give this place a higher review. In terms of cleanliness and pleasant environment, this was the nicest bowling alley I have ever been to. I had high hopes for this place and hoped it could become a regular hang-out. I went with a group of friends on a Thursday night after 9:30 to get in on the better prices. The first game was fantastic and the atmosphere was friendly and pleasant. But once it got a bit later in the evening, the mood completely changed. The lights went dim, and four large screens were turned on directly above the bowling lanes. One disgusting (borderline pornographic) music video after another began to be played. I was shocked and appalled. I understand that I was there later in the evening, but the trash being put up on the screens did not fit the crowd that was there. This wasn't a crowd going out to a strip club, these were normal and quiet people who were just out for a fun evening of bowling with friends. I spoke to the employees twice about changing the screens, and another member of my party spoke to them a third time. They were able to change one screen for us, but that was not enough given the size and dominance that the screens had. We were unable to focus on our game after that, and had to leave early. I do not blame the employees for the music selections. They treated me politely and just doing their job. But whoever made the choice for those videos did it in very poor taste. It was beyond inappropriate, and I will not be back. This place was very nice, and had I gone earlier in the day I would probably have had a better experience. Still, I do not intend to return to support a business that would put that kind of garbage on at any time of the day. If you have children, DO NOT GO in the evening. read more

When you strip away all the bells and whistles this is just a bowling alley and the most expensive bowling alley in town. Due to that fact you expect great customer service. The game area is no doubt the best in town and the items you get for tickets are better then any other place around. The actual bowling experience is exactly as you would expect except more personalized. All of those things could make this a 5 star review except their customer service is atrocious. The following customer service problems are why this place is not cutting it. The good news is this is all within their control. 1. When I arrived the prices for an hour of a lane was $10 per person. The clerk even stated that amount. After the 1 hour wait for a lane the prices had increased to $12 per person. They set an expectation but don't honor it. I'm guessing the price changes depending on demand throughout the day. 2. The clerk over promised to all customers coming in. I realize you don't know how long it could be but in that case you really should error to the side of underpromising so that you can give realistic expectations. I just rolled with all of it but witnessed other upset customers. How the staff reacted to them is really the awful part. They offered no apology and actually just laughed at them as they left because they had already waited for an hour. I was actually grateful because this bumped my party to the top but it wasn't the way you treat people. 3. Remember you pay by the hour. It was my child's first time bowling and one of the balls got stopped midlane. I tried to find someone for 5 minutes but no one was available so I took another ball and bumped the other one down the lane. A staff member then did finally come out and threatened me to not do that again. I calmly asked what she suggested us do if it happens again. She said, "Wave down one of us." Well I just kept playing but they sure are attentive when their balls might get hurt but not when their customer's time is getting wasted. 4. Lastly there is nothing in the system to show how much time you have left. They just shut off your game and 0 out your scores if you aren't finished. We had played 1 game and were almost through another. Had we known it was almost time we would have said whoever is winning in frame 8 (for example) wins. They have spent probably over a million to renovate this place but if they can't get their customer service right it will all be in vain. Fun place but expensive. Loved the animations and the bowling however did not like the price we paid for the vib lounge only to have 2 large groups of kids also in the lounge. At least 18 of them. I assumed the vib lounge that served alcohol and had a bar would be adults only. My mistake. Don't also make that mistake. Overall of was fun to have my sisters birthday party there and will probably go back at some time but not paying for vib again. Kids with a bar???? One kid even wondered over to where we were and the couch tables are at kid level where we had our drinks. Just a bad time waiting to happen. Not to mention the older kid that kept running across our lane. Staff was super nice. Service was awesome. Don't get me wrong. This is a super nice place and exceeded my expectations in that department for sure. Will leave another review when I bowl in the non vib lounge. read more

I will start by saying, I don't really feel good about giving this any more than one star. I'll start with the good...the place looks amazing! I grew up coming to Battlefield Lanes and this is a great improvement. The computer systems at the Lanes are pretty cool and make for some great laughs. Now, let's get down to brass tax. When the four of us arrived, we were informed it was league night and there would be a 30-60 minute wait. No big deal. We wanted to grab a drink and a bite to eat anyway. We made our way to the bar and ordered drinks. Bartenders were attentive and quick with service but weren't exactly the most hospitable service staff members I've ever seen. Not rude, just not overly friendly. We went to the counter to order food. It was immediately obvious that the staff and the menu were a very new thing. I can understand growing pains so even this wasn't a big deal. We ordered the Southwest Egg rolls ($7.99) and the Southwest Burger ($9.99). We got our food about 10-12 minutes later. The egg roll plate consisted of two small Egg rolls cut in half on a bias with a ramekin of sauce. Now, let's stop there. The menu states that they would be served with house Guacamole. The sauce that came in the 3 oz. ramekin with the Egg rolls was literally cheap Ranch dressing out of a jug with what appeared to be canned Pico de Gallo mixed in it. There was nothing near an avocado in this abomination. I'm sure we don't need to argue that Guacamole must have avocado in it to be called such. The egg rolls were very, very obviously a mass produced frozen product that simply gets dropped in a fryer. I would even be OK with that BUT...2 of them for $8.00!!! Is this an April Fool's Day joke? The cost of those are around $0.40 each. I've been ripped off plenty in my life but this takes the cake. This is theft! OK, so let's talk about the $10 burger...this thing was the sloppiest most flavorless "food" items I've ever has the displeasure of eating. The "queso" is was topped with was nothing more than ultra cheap bowling alley canned nacho cheese mixed with the same canned Pico de Gallo they used in the ranch dressing concoction. The pretzel bun was the best part but even that didn't make sense with the sandwich. The "battered fries" that were served with the burger were floppy and cold and very obviously fried in oil that was far too cold for frying, giving them the texture of greasy boiled potato. We reluctantly finished the food about the time our name was called for a lane. As a business owner, I would have liked to speak to a manager at this point to give them my feedback of our experience so far but, there was nobody in any area of the building that appeared to be functioning as a supervisor. We took our lane and bowled two games. While bowling, I was discreetly using my e-cigarette which contains a non-flavored liquidy so it does not produce any odors or noticeable vapor in the air. An hourly employee (I assume) approached me and informed me, not so discreetly, that I was not allowed to do that in the building. After apologizing and asking if there was a sign stating so, he replied, "no, it's just a rule here". Well, I think it's fair to say, if you're going to have a ridiculous arbitrary rule like that, you need to post it in plain site for all to see and then, in the event someone does break that POSTED rule, you can politely and discreetly ask the person to refrain from doing so without making a scene in front of other people. On that note. It is an actual LAW that businesses in Springfield must post NO SMOKING signs in there establishment at all entrances and exits. How this establishment got past the health department on this one is a little shady to me. I will not return to this establishment and will not recommend it to anyone. The four of us spent $138 on two games of bowling, horrible food and a few decent drinks. Extremely poor value. Needs A LOT of work. Buyer beware. read more

For family fun in Springfield, Andy B's has to be at the top of your list. Games are all brand new and the prizes are quality. Wednesday games are half price! You should try the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. My angus burger with pretzel top bun and beer battered fries was great. My wife had the quesadilla and was happy with it. She said a side of guacamole would have really been great. The appetizer you HAVE to try is the deconstructed crab rangoon dip. Simply delightful. Their laser tag is very cool and feels like you're in a theme park. Don't forget the bowling...we didn't bowl, but the setup looked very fun. Fun animations etc. The food is horrible, but it's not about the food here right? This is about having a good time. So eat somewhere else first. I should start by saying I am a terrible bowler but I enjoy it any way. First, the good: bowling is fun, good family activity, newly remodeled, feels upscale, there is an arcade and laser tag. The bad: expensive, there seem to be lots of glitches in the computer systems. For example, I added money to my kids game cards at the kiosk. Instead of adding the amount, it took that amount off of their cards. I felt like I had to go ask for help in several different areas-ball getting stuck, arcade game card issue, etc Did I mention that it is expensive. For 4 people to bowl for an hour (one game) was nearly $40. read more

Bummer. I called yesterday about 5:30 to see if there were lanes available. I was told yes on both sides. I did not know what that meant but ok, I'm on my way. I arrived within 10 minutes only to be told there were no "regular" lanes but there were some of these other ones. OMG $35 per hour!!! We left. Went to Enterprise lanes. Bowled and had dinner from the snack bar for $40. I have anxiously waiting for this place to reopen. Very disappointed. read more

Recently visited for an afternoon of bowling with my family. The place is nice but 90.00 dollars to bowl three games is outrageous. Our lane still jammed and we lost time while they fixed it. Not worth the price you pay. Besides who rents a lane by the hour? To bad if your last bowler doesn't get to finish game over or pay for another hour. Won't be going back. read more

The atmosphere is amazing! The problem we have is every summer we join the kids bowl free summer club so we have good clean fun entertainment for the summer. But the prices have gone up since last summer. So if we do go bowling now definitely won't be buying food now make it to expensive for our family. So in my opinion they kinda shot themselves in the foot. They lost money for a lunch of 4 because raising there prices put us just to far over what we could afford. read more

Where I don't quite share the same enthusiasm as CL, I do agree that this is a great place to bowl. I grew up right around the corner from this place and it has been a part of our community for more years than I can remember. The most exciting thing is here of recent they have really done a great job remodeling the place with new carpet, new snack bar, pretty much new everything. I'm not a huge fan of bowling so I cant really comment on the lure of the alley or the smoothness of the lanes or anything (lol) but I do have a little tip: Their $1 cherry bombs are not shots, which is what I had assumed when I ordered them. They are whole cherries marinated in Everclear. It was so strong that it literally numbed my WHOLE mouth. They taste horrible but they get the job done, lol... be careful not to have too many :) read more

Went last night with a bunch of friends and it was great. We all had fun bowling and playing in arcade. I can't wait to go back.

So it's Sunday the first nice day of spring weather my friends and I are having trouble finding something fun to do. We get in the car and drive around and eventually come across the bowling ally, I suggest we do laser tag. The idea to everyone was awesome! Ever since it opened we all have wanted to try it out. So we pull into the parking lot and walk inside. Everything looks crazy and new the entrance was really nice and the arcade looked good as well. My friends and I were looking around to find where we go to play laser tag. No one was at the door to greet us and tell us where to go so we walk over to this odd looking cave entrance so we walked through this cave entrance thing and walked down stairs. There was a window half way down and a lady who smiled and waved at me and I smiled back at her. So we get to the bottom of the stairs and an employee with glasses(I didn't catch his name) started to yell at us saying we have to pay to play. Well that's what we intended on doing obviously. He was extremely rude to us telling us we needed to read the sign, which was a little stand up thing that said the name of the game. Well ok!? Thanks a lot man. Maybe if someone was there to greet us or tell us where to go this wouldn't have happened? We went to the front desk and I told the lady that we were paying customers, but were treated poorly and we left. Unless customer service changes we won't return. read more

A staff of mine went there with a client, who was autistic, and the front desk lady asked if the client had a disability. When they said yes they were told they could not bowl because they would disturb the other customers. When the manager was confronted he called my staff a lier. Said that his staff would never do a thing like that and my staff was lying and making it all up. read more

The place is awesome! We had a party of 8 and played on the private side. It took longer than an hour for us to finish our game so we had to ask for more time in order for us to finish. They did not charge extra for the additional time but it was kind of annoying to have to go up to the desk to ask for additional time. I think it would be awesome if they would allow for the party who rents a private lane to be able to finish it and not have to hassle with asking for more time. We reserved a birthday party for our 6 year old daughter. During presents, a lady pulled me out of the room to tell me that our kids couldn't bowl because they didn't have enough room for us. Mind you, I booked the birthday party 4 weeks in advance and they called to confirm our date with no problem. It was a $250 party that I had paid a $70 deposit for. I told them that i couldn't go back in that room and tell my daughter and all of her friends that she couldn't bowl and that they needed to figure something out. They said they were sorry, but they couldn't accommodate the birthday party anymore. I missed my daughter opening her presents to deal with this and needless to say, I lost my temper. No managers would talk to me. They would only send a young girl down to tell us the bad news. I told that girl that we would cause I riot if they couldn't bowl. She came back down to tell us the 10 kids could bowl for 20 minutes. I told her that once on a lane, we would not move until we satisfied the hour bowl that we had booked. She never came back. She sent another person down to tell us that we could bowl. 10 minutes before we were done bowling, they brought me a bill where they took 10% off for my trouble. I informed them that I would pay for the bowling, but I would not pay for the party. They insisted that I pay. I refused. I did not get to watch my daughter open presents and I had to stand outside of the party room and fight for our kids to get to bowl. It was completely awful and the worst experience that I've had with any establishment...EVER! I would not recommend this place for any reason to anyone...well unless I wanted them to be totally miserable! As this is my first bad review I've ever given, it pains me to even give one star. read more

Went to bowl to try out my new heavy balls, 600$ worth of balls with scars all over before I even shot the 7th frame spare on 1st game. Huge deep scar on track which cannot be fixed because if fixed would leave a small flat/odd spot causing it to roll worse, so lose/lose situation. Other two balls scratches all over and just because their ball return was so dirty it made the marks grey surrounded by tons of belt marks which is what cause the scratches to be grey, but I was told that since they were not white they were not new. Didn't let it go, got call from the head manager who basically told me I can come in but it would be pretty much worthless to do. Worst customer service, lanes are all uneven from previous bowling when I used 2 lanes and both had same oil yet same ball curved 10 boards more on one lane than the other. A cheap 16 business company trying to make a incredible pizza with bowling and beer. Also mostly 5$ a game without shoes, and this was on the NEW lanes. Rude assistant manager and same with manager. Never use your own ball unless your ready to have scars on the track that cannot be fixed. Have never left a review because I can deal with a lot, but my defiant has a chunk on it track that needs cover repair, my zero gravity has deep scars 2 inches from the thumb luckly on the opposite side, and my marvel pearl has white marks all over it. Threw the defiant 4 times, zero 3, pearl 6 spare shots. Was told I could come in but quote "would pretty much be pointless to come in, JR" Make sure not to use lane 15. Or waste your money when you can go to all you can bowl places or leagues in respectable places like enterprise. read more
