If I could give a 0 star I would. We called Geico Roadside assistance to get help on a flat tire we got on the interstate. We have an infant in the car and they told us 30 mins. 30 mins led to 2.5 hours. We called multiple times and the receptionist answering the phone was rude and stopped answering our calls. Had we known it was going to take this long we would have went with someone else. We have a baby in the car and there was no sense of urgency. Please please please don't use them. Serpentine belt broke 6 miles from home. Called roadside, they "sent" these people. Was given a one hour wait time. Reasonable. No one showed up after 4 hours! I called their phone number and the person on the other end was rude, citing she "doesn't know where the driver is" and "can't tell me how much longer it's going to be" and "he must be tied up on another job or on his way" before finally hanging up on me. Before, she also said "well it's only an hour late, he still has time." What does that even mean? An hour late is late, and without explanation, I was furious. I could see his location on the tracker hadn't moved a centimeter during that 4 hour period. I called other towing places while they were supposedly on their way, and then called my insurance to cancel their roadside assistance claim, which they kindly did so and apologized for the trouble. waited two hours for a locksmith. I called to ask for an update, and they said they were 25 minutes out. 30 minutes passes and I get a text saying they can't make it. After this, they stopped picking up the phone. My baby went 3 hours without a bottle, diaper change, or nap because this company was unable to uphold their end of the contract. I'm an Amica customer. Andrometer accepted the job at 20:42 and said the ETA was 45-75 minutes. At 22:01, I called them. The phone picked up, I heard some children playing on the background and then was placed on hold with no one actually even answering my call. I then contacted Amica by text, I was given an updated ETA of 15 minutes. Still no show. Again I contacted Amica. I was then immediately texted that Andrometer had declined the job, a job they had accepted nearly 2 hours prior. I don't exactly know what this business is if they leave you sitting on the street and don't bother updating you at all until you complain they've exceeded their ETA. read more

AVOID! Beyond unprofessional! I had a flat tire and pulled into a street parking spot. I called and received a message someone would arrive in 45 minutes. After 55 minutes I called and the dispatcher said the repair person would call me in a couple minutes. Twenty-five minutes after that, I called again. The phone range for 6 minutes and disconnected. He arrived 5 minutes later. Understandably, the man did not want to install the spare tire while sitting in the street. So, he asked me to drive a block down into a lot. I told him that I wanted to check the road for potholes to avoid damaging my rim. He tried to assure me that it would be fine but I insisted on checking the road. I returned to my car and started driving to his location. As I did, I saw him driving away. Without a word he just drove away! They told me it would take about an hour and I was able to see an ETA as far as tracking goes. Waited an hour still no one showed up, called back again. Same lady told me driver was not answering his phone, but was fixing a tire near me and would get to me within 15 minutes approximately. we did another 15 minutes. No one showed again call back at a different lady. I explain the situation and she asked me who the first lady I talk to was I told her she never gave me a name. this lady then told me she could not get a truck out to jumpstart me for at least two hours. The car was broken down in the middle of the road and despite calling for updates multiple times they flat out lied about eta each time. The cops eventually showed up and called the company trying to get them to expedite and they lied to the cops about eta. Eventually had to cancel and switch tows (paying out of pocket) because the car had to be out of the middle of the road by rush hour. Andromeda towing owes my $188 because of their piece of shit customer service and business model. They're scalpers and untruthful. Called my Allstate roadside assistance hotline to get assigned this towing service. 1 hour eta turned into 3 followed by this service stringing you along that they are enroute and only 15 mins away. At 3 am and after 3 hours of being pulled over on a highway, I'm told there is an issue with the towing truck and he can't come. Yeah, right.... bottomline, they get paid almost nothing by the insurance companies and it reflects in their customer service. I agree with the other reviews. If you are assigned them by your insurance company, start calling other tow services otherwise you end up in a situation similar to what me and other reviewers here experienced. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My roadside assistance contracts with this company and scheduled a tow for my daughters car that wouldn't start. The initial estimated wait time was 1.5 hours. After 1.5 hours they called to let me know it would be another 1.5 hours. I called the dispatch to ask for an ETA after hearing nothing. The dispatcher told me it would be 30 minutes. After 20 minutes the driver called me and told me he wouldn't be here for "awhile". Again I spoke with dispatch and was told it would be 2 more hours. I canceled. USAA puts the tow order in with Andrometer Roadside Assist at 2:59 PM. initially I'm told they are 55 to 85 minutes out. I google them and find out they are coming from a town about an hour away. There are at least ten tow companies within 15 minutes of me so I'm wondering why? I call Andometer and get a woman in New Jersey.... I'm in Washington State! This lady tells me she'll check and find out how far out he is. She tells me he's on the way. After 4, an hour after the initial call, the time of arrival is extended by text for another 39 minutes. That time comes and goes, getting extended several more times. I call USAA after about an hour and a half and ask how much longer. they tell me they'll inquire. I wait. After 2 1/2 hours of waiting in the pouring rain i get another text telling me it'll be another 30 minutes. I call Dick's towing, which is 5 miles away. They say they'll be there within a half hour. Dick's Towing gets there in 7 minutes! I waited 2 3/4 hours for Andrometer to show up. I paid for Dick's Towing out of my own pocket. USAA can do better than this.
