Balshaw would be a worthy successor--as polite, as friendly, as fun to talk to as his predecessor--he was right.

Kumra has been an amazing partner in our son's oral health and development. We got a late start…read morebecause we were overseas in his early teens, but everyone at Kumra has worked patiently and compassionately with our son to improve his bite and his smile. He has not closely followed the protocol for Invisalign, but Dr. Mina has been an absolute gem: giving gentle encouragement or matter-of-fact redirection as needed. Everyone from the receptionists to the assistants are friendly, polite and professional. You can't go wrong with Kumra Orthodontics. (Alas, our son prefers that I not post a pic of him and his pretty smile)

I went to Kumra Orthodontics after dealing with a dental issue that had impacted my appearance--and…read moremy confidence--for nearly a year. Due to an issue with my bite, I kept biting my lip, which caused swelling and scar tissue. It became noticeable when I ate and talked, and it honestly made me shy away from social interactions. I kept putting off seeing an orthodontist, and after this experience, I truly wish I hadn't. My free consultation was better than I could have imagined. From the initial phone intake to the stunning, luxurious office, every single staff member was friendly, caring, and genuinely invested in making me feel comfortable. The entire experience felt thoughtful and personalized, and I walked away feeling fully informed about my care and next steps. Jessica handled my intake and X-rays and made the entire process completely stress-free. She took the time to get to know me as an individual, asked thoughtful questions about my concerns and hopes, and was clearly knowledgeable and capable. Viviana, the practice manager, is truly an angel on earth. She radiates warmth and kindness and clearly loves what she does--it shows in every interaction. I had absolutely no reservations or fear because of her care and reassurance. And Dr. Mina... I don't even have the words. She was honest, compassionate, and incredibly thorough. I never once felt pressured into an expensive or unnecessary treatment. We reviewed my X-rays together, she answered every question, and we came up with a plan that was conservative, affordable, and effective. They also referred me to an oral surgeon to evaluate the scar tissue on my lip to determine whether it would resolve on its own or needed to be addressed. That level of care and foresight truly meant so much to me. I walked in terrified and resigned to the idea that I might need braces. Instead, after discussing my options, I ordered retainers. Viviana did my scans and talked me through everything so I felt completely at ease. They even put in a rush order so I wouldn't have to be uncomfortable any longer than necessary. I am beyond grateful for this team and will absolutely be a lifelong patient. If you're considering orthodontic care--don't go anywhere else. Just go to Kumra Orthodontics.

You guys... GO TO VCO!!! I chose VCO for my Invisalign journey and I couldn't have even dreamt up a…read morebetter experience. Dr. Markova and each and every member of her staff are beyond professional, welcoming, talented, and intelligent. I'm in my 20s and had a phenomenal experience - over my time as a patient, I would witness Dr. Markova and her staff interact with all ages and tailor their treatments in ways that spoke to each age group seamlessly. I should probably talk about my teeth, right? I couldn't be happier with the outcome! Admittedly, I'm incredibly picky and Dr. Markova left me with nothing to nit pick. She made sure I was fully happy and went above and beyond to do so. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

PLEASE READ!!! I've taken a while to write this review since it really upsets me. This office is…read morenothing like I expected. Please do not be fooled my the glitz and glam of the place. Although I have much to say, Let me just summarize my experience briefly. My initial appointment was..... great. But I was blinded. I came in for a consultation and ended up getting braces that very same day thinking wow such great service how quickly they "understood my needs" WRONG Dr. Markova is MONEY HUNGRY!!!!! From this day on my entire experience was RUSHED. Verbatim this office specifically RUSHES the process of braces. Before my braces being removed and throughout the process I worked with both Dr. Markova & Dr. Thai. (Constantly stressing my bottom teeth) I noticed i stopped being scheduled to see Dr. Markova once she took my braces off even AFTER I shared my concerns pertaining my bottom teeth STILL being crooked. Dr. Markova simply brushed it off stating I was good and ready looked me in my face and said "the retainer will fix that problem". She is super fake, snotty, stuck up and inconsiderate and very UNWILLING. Smiled in my frowning sad face and walked off after the removal. Shes nice until you push back and she will turn into a different person. (I've inserted photos) I went home and literally cried. I wrote the office a long email AGAIN explaining my issue. It does not matter if I simple asked for possible early take off, if my teeth aren't ready they simply aren't ready! I then came back and luckily worked with Dr. Thai. Got the braces put back on my bottom teeth and started the unfinished process again. IF IT WEREN'T FOR DR. THAI id raised hell in that office for sure. Dr. Thai took TIME and was patient listened to me and did not rush the process. She clearly saw the issue and acted on it. Please Dr.Thai RUN and start your own practice. You're way to good for this atmosphere. To the assistants, speak up, if you see wrong doing and see problems do not be doormats to patients. I've seen you'll bite your tongue to not overstep boundaries or just plain fear. There are plenty of orthodontics with years of experience who know that braces are to not be rushed rather done with care and patience to secure the teeth in place to prevent shifting from happening again! I paid over 7,000 out of pocket for a mediocre job. And will forever steer everyone away from this office. I've been bamboozled.

TL;DR see a real orthodonist and not someone trying to sell you something during a free consult…read more I have had a very bad experience with Evenly. It had gotten so bad I was really willing to take a wash on the money I had paid just to not deal with them anymore. I just wanted it in the rearview. It had been a couple of months and since our last interaction when I recieved a bill in the mail. . . so now it is time to write a review. First off, I was promised by sales person that my dentist would be removing my permanent retainer for free. This would be the first step to starting my treatment. This was not true. And she was very happy to throw my dentist under the bus for her broken word. "The dentist is the one that is charging a fee as most of my practices will do it free of cost. " OK sure. Well I went to a local ortho to try to get my permanent retainer removed, in order to proceed. Ortho tells me that some of the results discussed during the Evenly consult were unlikely due to the structure of my jaw. Which I had mentioned during the consult. One KEY thing to remember when doing your free consult with Evenly. You are NOT TALKING to a trained ORTHO. This is a sales person trying to make the sale. I was later able to talk to Dr. Hickory who agreed with some of the points brought up by the ortho I saw locally in NJ. He agreed to send me a revised treatment plan that showed what it would look like to just treat the TOP teeth. OK great this is REALLY what I was hoping for from the jump. So I bring up the question; with the proposed change in treatment plan. Does the price of treatment change. **crickets**. When they recieve a question they do not like, they will just ignore it outright. I have MANY MANY email examples of this. This review in general is aimed at the Evenly staff. Dr. Hickory was very accomadating with my questions over the phone. But his office support is not great to deal with. I ended up putting a stop payment toward Evenly because I have not recieved any treatment or retainers from them, I have paid for over half my treatment. Was willing to walk away from it until I got a bill in the mail for treatment they have not given me.

Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing and end up with tears. She told me I need extraction of (6) teeth removal and recommended me surgery for the baby tooth and for canines for that which I paid 4,500$ at that time and the surgeon was also confused and asked me why she needed to remove the canines and I said I don't know I remember he called and asked her even if I don't know what she said to him he did the surgery and it was One of the most devastating aspects of my treatment unnecessary removal of both of my canines. I want to remind everyone i didn't ask any opinion from any other orthodontist or went anywhere before going to her which I regret everyday. During consultation she told me I will done my treatment in 2 years but it took her 4 years because their were big gaps and she was having hard time closing it I wore the brace 2years and then retainers 8month and that doesn't work too I go back to braces again for 1year ‍‍‍ it was really painful time for me. I was led to believe that this was the best course of action, only to later learn from another orthodontist that it was completely unnecessary. Instead of addressing my dental concerns properly--such as removing my wisdom teeth, which should have been the priority--the wrong teeth were extracted, leaving me with long-term consequences my face structure changed my jaw line is gone end up flat chin and so so many things. Even if I state my concern multiple times to Dr.Patrice with tears I was ignored and avoided. Throughout the process, it became clear that the orthodontist lacked the proper knowledge and expertise to handle my case. As a result, I have been left with a painful bite, an excessive gummy smile, and significant regret. Beyond the physical issues, I also felt misled--key aspects of my treatment were not fully explained, and I was not informed of the potential risks or alternative options. Had I been given accurate information, I would have made very different decisions about my teeth. Now, I am dealing with insecurities by my smile very discomfort and emotional distress, knowing that even if I will likely need corrective treatment elsewhere to fix my smile again the orthodontist I went after I done my treatment with her they told me they can't do nothing about it now because the damage is done already. I strongly advise anyone considering orthodontic care to do thorough research, seek multiple opinions, and ask detailed questions before committing to treatment here. Orthodontic work has long-term effects, and a poor treatment plan can have irreversible consequences. I wouldn't want anyone else to experience the frustration, pain, and regret that I am now facing. I waisted 4 years with hopes of having a beautiful smile and waisted 12,000$ for nothing. Other than that , Yeah they have nice neat place .
