We used them last year to cut down a tree in my backyard and was very satisfied. I told him fine come on Wednesday. when I got up Wednesday morning it was pouring rain, I thought for sure they would not show up. but as soon as it stopped raining they were there. they took down the tree, cleaned everything, helped put the yard furniture back where it belongs and even put the fountain up on the stump where I wanted it to go. they were polite, they were efficient ,and I can't say anything better. the two times I have used them I have had no disappointment whatsoever. I totally recommend them.

No on showed up to the first appointment we scheduled for someone to come to my house on August 3, 2010 at 6:00pm. I called the next day to see what happened and received a nonchalant, "sorry we're busy" as an excuse for not showing up for the appointment. We rescheduled for the next day, August 5 at 5:30pm. Again, no one showed up at my house. I called their office at 5:45 to see what happened and was not given a reason for them not showing up. They offered to come in 30 minutes or reschedule for another day. I then asked how I should be sure that they would show up for the estimate, or to eventually do the tree trimming, and I was hung up on. I then called back, pointed out that I was hung up on, and was told to "call someone else" and was hung up on again.

It was staggering how quickly they removed three 40' tall silver maples in my backyard. These things were all snugly tucked between multiple power lines and buildings. Even though I always seek 3 quotes before confirming a project, Progressive always provides a great deal. Their work is top-notch. I can't believe how fast they work and how clean they leave the job. Also, their proposal and payment portal is very easy to use and convenient. The 3 services I had them do were: 2021: Removal of dying crabapple tree 2023: Removal of all shrubs in the front and sides of our property 2024: Removal of all shrubs in the sides of our property in preparation for a fence. At this point, I don't think I have any more trees or shrubs left for them to remove, but I wouldn't recommend anyone else for any tree/shrub service needed. Thank you Progressive!

They came out and said it was spider mites and a fungal infection. I agreed to treat for both. Nearly a week goes by, I have to ask where the quote is. I sign the quote and they say my trees will be treated in 1-2 weeks. 10 days later I email them asking when my trees will be treated. No response. 12 days later I call, no answer, leave voicemail. No response. 13 days later I call again, speak to someone and they said I have to talk to the gentlemen that provided the quote. He then calls me - this is where it gets wonky. He says even though he said in his email he would treat in 1-2 weeks he said that he should not have said that because now was not the optimal time to spray. We need to be further into the growing season when the new growth of the tree is complete and they were laying eggs. That doing it now wouldn't be as effective and leave the new growth vulnerable to spider mites. It was a long conversation as I was concerned and it ended with me agreeing to wait and them saying I can trust what they are telling me and that this is best for my trees. Less than 24hrs from that conversation I get a text saying good news, I am the first stop to be sprayed this morning. What????? Why is there even a truck out spaying anyone if this is not the optimal time? I called them on their BS via text. I was lied to. Don't tell me now is not was is best, we agree to doing it later and then say we will be there within the hour to do what I told you yesterday is not the right thing to do. When I told them this was BS they told me to find another tree company to treat my trees and continued to taunt me via text encouraging me do research on this topic, saying "Good luck with you trees", laughing at my text calling them out. And for the record, I did not swear or threaten them. I did say they were feeding me BS and lying, which I still believe they are. I do not recommend using this company. Update: I did the research they told me to do. You are supposed to treat your trees for spider mites Feb-April in Chicago area. They were either lying or incompetent. I also learned it's easy to treat trees yourself with product from Home Depot, saving me hundreds of dollars. So happy they fired me!!!! Saved me lots of money!

I called AAA Arborist Tree Experts and Michael came out ASAP and immediately put me at ease. I believe his exact words were, "I'll take care of you." And he and his team did. I just bought this house a few months ago and having a yard with big tress is new to me, so Michael took the time to walk me around my yard, at my request and tell me about my trees. Honestly, Michael made me feel great about my property. The AAA Arborist Tree Experts team tackled trimming a 100 foot tall tree in my front yard, cut back and invigorated my massive 80 year old mulberry tree in the back, a removed my invasive trees that were making my yard smaller and smaller as they took over, and so much more at a price that was less than half of what I thought. I am so thankful to AAA Arborist Tree Experts. They can handle any job. I will continue to use AAA Arborist Tree Experts and I suggest everyone give them a try. You really wont regret it.
