My sales associate helped me find the right rack to choose from, and held the dresses up for me so I could see how they would fit once altered. I was able to pay half up front and half when the dress arrived, which Is a very thoughtful business practice that worked out super well for me. I wound up moving out of state after ordering the dress, so I gave them a call to see if they would be able to ship it to me. I paid the second half of the cost over the phone and the day they got it in store they put it back in the mail and immediately shipped it to me. I am grateful for their flexibility and thoughtful practices, + the interior of the shop is very beautiful and well kept. (I picked the strapless one ;)

Let's start with: Beyond. worse. experience. ever…read more It started with a phone call from my beloved brother and sister in law saying there was something wrong with her wedding dress that she had just picked up from Lei and her custom team that she had previously bought at The White Dress. Keep in mind this dress was ABSOLUTELY beautiful on my sister in law, that is before Lei and her team worked with it. In a heart beat I drove to see my sister in law and helped her with her dress. As she put the dress on, ladies and gentlemen, it was thee worst and most disappointing fit a seamstress could ever do. The seams on the back were buckled, the sheer was cut incorrectly, the lace on her chest region was cut, and the dress was so heavy on her shoulders that you couldn't even see the straps. My poor sister in law was left in tears when it's supposed to be her dream dress. The dress was just the beginning my friends. The customer service was horrendous. I immediately called Lei that evening to speak with her and told her what happened. And this woman had the audacity to tell me it was like that before she touched the dress. Are you serious? I had pictures before she "fixed" the dress and she sent me pictures to my cell phone saying there was nothing wrong with it afterwards. She was arguing with me about her job and how there was nothing she could do to fix it and how there were NO openings for her before her wedding date which was a week away. Pushing forward, I immediately called the White Dress about this and they were incredible with accommodating and recommending us to a new seamstress that fit us in that next morning. Weddings are supposed to be amazing and Lei and her team almost ruined my sister in law's greatest day. Zero stars if I could, beyond disappointed.

Leelu was spectacular at listening to my friend's needs and studying her inspo pics. This was our very first time seeing her in a dress and we were all shocked that throughout the 90 minute appointment my friend was gravitating towards a white dress. Leelu did a fantastic job at letting us make requests. The two requests that our group had was to see my friend in a mermaid gown, which is a childhood dream of hers, and with a veil. We learned that although my best friend has the body of a goddess and looks good in anything, that that was not her preferred shape. We were fortunate enough to find a dress that made my friend happy. Leelu also talked us through the ordering process, shipping, and how to add black appliqué to give it a bit of that spooky vibe that my friend was going for. The shop has seamstresses they can refer you to as well as it is not a service offered in house. We did not purchase the day of as my friend needs to have some conversations with her dad just to make sure that it is within the budget he had in mind.
