I swear they used to have carpet... all I know is that it was smooth concrete, so easy to walk around and I don't have to dig through things to find my size. This isn't a bin situation. They also rearranged the shoes and the aisles do seem a touch smaller there which, as far as complaints go, that is a small one. It was also nice that their sizes and the way each of the racks are marked seemed way better. I am a sort of odd sizing and ladies, can we discuss for a moment a few key things. Those of us with substantial breasts... why do all clothing manufacturers want to put a billboard of some type on our chest? And since I am a larger size now and older... it's nice that you want to allow us to show off parts but everything is either a tent or I'm practically naked. And, stop making clothing for larger sizes with material that has zero give. I'm going to rip it even just trying it on! I did find several amazing dresses though that were just perfect... showing off the curves without horribly uncomfortable material. You can always tell the trends happening while going down. Obviously looking and searching right in front of two sales associates who were yapping amongst themselves and didn't even give me a look. Then I'm approached from the side by an associate named Grant who could tell I was searching for something and offered his assistance. He showed me to the bleak sales rack and I tried on a couple of things. He was the epitome of a full service sales associate getting the right size etc. I ended up just looking with him in the full price section and after a short discussion he understood exactly what I was looking for. He brought me shoes to try and a new belt. Stayed with me right through the entire transaction, alterations and so forth. Grant was what Nordstrom has been known for in terms of service and he gets 5 stars!

This time, no associate approached me--or any of the other middle‑aged women browsing nearby. Two employees stood at the register engaged in conversation, not helping anyone. I eventually interrupted to request a fitting room, but no one ever checked on me afterward. The lack of attention was surprising and disappointing, completely unlike any experience I've had there before. I left feeling invisible and disheartened, and I'm not sure I'll return. If this is the new norm, I'll need to find another way to celebrate my birthday going forward.

And to have 4-5 sizes means that each size fits a variety of shapes, so it's either too big or small. Not a fan. Chicos is big on accessories. Thing big, chunky necklaces. More bling. Belts. Scarves. Spring colors, patterns and even new styles of their athletic pants caught my attention. I live in the Powersoft leggings with side pockets; they are so comfortable and last forever. They go on sale all of the time and I always buy them at 50% off for $19.99. Can't find anything comparable in this price range and the Powersoft will give those leggings that are 4x the price, a run for the money. Couldn't help but notice the mannequins in various heights and body shapes. Just like people in real life wearing different styles of clothing and looking good! Well done, Old Navy! Another thing I particularly liked were the price checkers, several located throughout the store. With their many sales and sales on top of markdowns, it makes It easy to check the bottom line price of an item. Often a deal too good to pass up. The Clearance area should be renamed Patience Required as it is a mess! Clothes everywhere and not on the right rack. If you are shopping there, look on the Small, Medium, Large, XLarge racks regardless of your size as they are pretty much random.
