The entire crew worked with competent focus and skill in a fine tuned collaboration; each according to their role and with one another. Whether assessing trees, interacting with client, discussing logisitics, pruning branches, carrying branches, running branches through the chipper, each and all work excellently in collaboration with one another. In an unhurried manner, they were fully efficient. Each team member is fully knowledgeable about the entire process. I learned from all of them as the day progressed: including reasons for the way each tree was trimmed to best protect, heal and enhance future growth. Worst company our HOA has used since moving here. Left bushes untrimmed to where you couldn't walk through between homes for weeks. Never on a schedule. Last week they trimmed select bushes. They BLEW A RAT POISON STICK into my patio even with metal mesh on the lower part. I don't use poisons. Then they are here again this week cutting our grass when a unit nearby us has grass that is at least 18in deep. They pass at top speed with their mowers. Patches of brown where irrigation isn't working. Hope we end this contract soon. read more

This company not only has rude, careless employees but management/ownership doesn't care. They have been cutting trees around our large condominium complex. Where to begin? They carelessly drop huge tree branches into the streams, they overcut the trees without regard to the many hummingbird and squirrel nests. My husband has Parkinsons and is wheelchair bound, we had an appointment Tuesday and they saw us leaving. Upon our return they had left our walkway TOTALLY BLOCKED with large (5-6 foot long) branches. I had to drag them out of the way myself to be able to get my husband inside. Today one of the workers was trampling through the back and broke one of my antique blown glass hummingbird feeders. He did it right in front of me and didn't bother to stop. When I told him that it's unacceptable to have such disregard for private property he just laughed!! I called the company and requested a call from management......crickets. THEY DONT CARE. There was even a situation where they were being harassed by a homeowner and had to involve the police, yet they continued to show up and do their job without hesitation. I was on a walk today. Where the landscapers were illegally using a leaf blower to blow around all the ash and dust from the Pacific Palisades fire. Air blowers are illegal to be using right now and I kindly ask them to turn off the blower and he just said OK blew the leaves and dust in my face and then continued blowing the sidewalk. I am amazed with the professional service that Andre Landscape had provided. Shout out to my favorite arborist, Matthew Elders! I found these guys through Yelp. Honestly, I was skeptical to seek out their services at first due to the negative reviews on here, but I am so glad that I gave them a chance! I initiated contact with them using their contact form on their website to request for a quote and was contacted by Mr. Elders the next day. (Super fast response!). I found that Mr. Elders is knowledgeable and truthful while providing outstanding customer service when helping me navigate through the confusing process of getting a large tree removed. Mr. Elders went above and beyond from communicating with the City on my behalf to assisting with completing respective paperwork required by the City. I am extremely appreciative of Mr. Elders and the staff/employees there as they are super kind and understanding (even through the phone calls!). They are also respectful and adhere to the social distancing/face covering recommendations when providing on-site services during the pandemic. I felt safe, comfortable, and ultimately stress-free when working with Mr. Elders and staff throughout this project. I recently was driving from my office to my home. As I drove onto the southbound lane of Colonies Parkway at 19th Street in Upland, I noticed the top of a palm tree had broke and was blocking the north bound lanes of Colonies Parkway. I stopped and walked over to view the damage. I tried to move the top section off the roadway. Realizing the palm tree top weighed over 500 lbs I looked around for assistance. About that same time 3 trucks from Andre Landscaping were coming up Colonies Parkway. I stopped the lead truck and asked if they could help remove the palm tree top. Without hesitation, 5 workers jumped out and with chainsaws and a trailer mounted grinding machine ground up the entire palm tree top, and cleaned up the street. As the Mayor of Upland I was so impressed with how wiling theses men where to fix the problem and how quickly they reacted. These men did not hesitate and showed they care about our community. I am a Community Manager for an association in Upland. I was doing my walk through yesterday and noticed a tree was completely blown down and blocking some of the street due to the heavy winds during the pouring rain. It was a whole tree that fell from the roots. 12/13/2021 - Andre Landscaping Services cutting and blowing the sidewalks and street area on Spectrum Center Blvd. San Diego - have one of their employees think it funny to blow grass clippings on me as I was standing on property owned by MY employer - not even close to being in the path of this jerk, first time I yelled to stop him and he turned around and was laughing, walked about 5 feet away and then still laughing turned the blower on me again throwing even more grass clipping, trash, and leaves all over me. Our association (Marinita Townhomes) brought them on a few short years ago. Initially, they were great--monthly landscape walk-throughs with the supervisor(s), relatively constant crew, neat trimming and grooming of existing landscape. No more...the crew is dropped off and apparently left to their own devices. Shrubbery and trees are butchered, weeds and trash are never removed, dirt and debris always left behind. I am writing this review for one of the managers, Noah Ly, not for Andre Landscape Services business. My experience with Andre Landscape is because our house sits next to a Condo Association in Costa Mesa. The tree trimmers from Andre were trimming the trees for the Condo development, not for me personally. My husband and I had the same experience with Andre Landscape as most of the other people who have left 1 star reviews. When we came home, we found a terrible mess in our back yard from the branches that the tree trimmers let fall into our yard and didn't bother to clean them up after they were done trimming the trees that hang over into our yard. The tree trimmers also allowed branches to drop onto my hanging hummingbird feeder; therefore, I found it on the ground and it was broken. I had been in communication with Noah Ly prior to the tree trimming beginning, so I immediately called him and explained the situation. Noah apologized for the mess and sent a crew over to our yard within an hour to clean up branches and leaves that were left in our yard. He also offered to replace the broken hummingbird feeder. He kept his promise and bought me a new hummingbird feeder, which is even nicer than the feeder that was broken. Thank you, Noah. It sounds as though Andre's need to hire more caring and proactive managers like Noah and the business may not find itself with such terrible reviews from their customers. read more

We had Andre landscape trim our trees in our HOA, village lakes. The first they trimmed our trees and I caught them trimming our homeowners trees while they'll were supposed to be trimming the HOA . They were contracted to service our HOA not homeowners. I spoke to one of the employees, I am board member, the VP/Treasurer, and asked the employee why he was trimming a homeowner/homeowners. There was more than one. He said they were on their lunch, really I watched you do tHe work and then go to lunch. I did report it to our property manager and I spoke to the tree guy when he came out and he said it was addressed. Thinking things were handled we had them come out again and trim more trees. This time the drove their trucks out on our soccer field and broke one major irrg line. We have pictures of the tire marks from the trucks. We did notify them about the damage, they said that they would be responsible for the damage. We had to get it ASAP due to the flooding it was causing . The plumbing company that was called out has never been paid, which now our HOA will have pay. So thank you Andre landscaping for not be responsible. read more

The damage has been done! There was only one small branch showing any sign of disease. These trees do not need an aggressive pruning. Especially after they had had such a great year with all the water. Trees were looking the best they've looked in years before they were pruned. Very little sign of the blight throughout the complex. It was an overly aggressive trimming job on this particular tree and after I had specifically asked that they do just a very light pruning on my trees because that's all they needed. I look at this tree out my kitchen window and sitting on the patio. Very sad and a continuing irritation until it grows out. read more

I was contacted by Matthew Elder a few months back to see if we needed services. At thatmomentwe didn't and kept his card. I called Matthew gave him all the details of what I needed completed. Sent him my center information in Burbank. With no hesitation he went to our center, took pictures and within a week I was provided an amazing quote. I just really can't understand their system of gardening at all. the HOA at the condo community is the one who hired them for years so it's very unfortunate I have to deal with their workers' extremely inefficient way of gardening every week. it's only once a week but it's so bad to the point I'm stressed about them starting the day before the day they come. they always have their machines idle and walk around with them even when they are not using it, they blow dirt into our front door all the time, and they walk back and forth and back and forth the same spot over and over and over.....why? shouldn't you be done with the place around...I don't know at least by the third time? how inefficient can you be to need to do the same thing over fourteen times?? oh, and they'd leave trash behind our garden repeatedly as well. I've lived in many, many different places and these gardeners are the worst with creating nuisance every time. I don't know if its due to the fact the company uses particularly old machines that create extra noises, or that the workers are very unexperienced. maybe both. they doing some serious damage to my mental health for months. read more

Don't be fooled by their promises, this company will bend over backwards to get your business, but be warned, they have got to be the worst landscaper out there. They use huge mowers and just run over anything in their path including sprinklers. They edge once a month if you're lucky and never trim shrubs. They never fix broken irrigation until months later, then charge a fortune and put pop up sprayers where rotors go. We were promised WiFi controller boxes which we never received. Requests and complaints will fall on deaf ears, they just don't care. I seriously wonder how this company stays in business. Do yourself a favor and don't fall for their pitch. They cut down several trees at my apartment complex in baldwin park,ca. They had total disregard for personal property. I had a potted plumeria tree that I grew from a baby that was from a trip to Hawaii. When they cut down the tree they just let the pieces fall anywhere big logs crashing down hitting any and everything. That's when it smashed down on my plumeria tree. They didn't bother saying a word. They left without any apology or even acknowledging what they had done. Unbelievable! I noticed Andre's work and signature trucks at a local private university. They do beautiful trim work and excellent clean up. I spoke with Fernando, the supervisor. He was super helpful and kind. I have a difficult driveway and Filipe and Lupe (two drivers) navigated it perfectly. They were respectful of my plants and the trucks they drove. Fili was on the ground navigating drivers with precision. Every one of them was kind, considerate, worked hard, and happy to help.
