I stopped here for lunch yesterday and it didn't disappoint. They offer a variety of sauces and ingredients to pick from but not so many that the "create your own" experience becomes an overwhelming task. The pizza was amazing! The quality of the fresh ingredients really come through. I opted for my version of a marguerita-with spicy tomato sauce, homemade mozzarella, fresh arugula and tons of their delicious garlic sauce. Their artisanal sodas are fantastic as well. I anticipate a second trip to &pizza sometime soon. read more

This place is so absolutely delicious and if you haven't been you must live under a rock. The staff is so friendly, they move super quickly even with a line wrapped around the small store and out into the mall area (Only complaint is that place is tiny and no room to sit). So, do you ever dream about food? I rarely, if ever, remember a dream but I swear I dreamt about &pizza's Kiss & Fire pizza last week. This made me crave the sweet/spicy sauce for days b/f I had a chance to stop by again at the Springfield Mall location. I've been here several times since the location opened and have slowly watched my mental 5-star review decline, down to today's 2. The reason for this decline is the employee's complete lack of care, therefore not paying attention, or knowing what goes on a specialty pie, etc. I hope that someone within the management team actually reads all of the reviews on Yelp, as I can't be the only 1 who's witnessed this. Honestly, I love the freshness & flavor combo's, but your locations' employee's lack of management has put me off. For the price of the 2-3 pies that we purchase each visit, we will be going to Bozelli's, right across the parking lot to get an extra large pie, sides, and a dessert that will taste phenomenal AND not have to deal with your school-age antics. read more

Hands down one of the best pizzas I ever had. They make the pizza right in front of you and you get to choose as many toppings as you like for one low price. Only a couple toppings are extra like shrimp. You can either choose one of their signature pizzas or build your own. I normally get the maverick, which is basically a meat lovers. and add bacon and broccoli to it. The pizza takes just minutes to cook. They make their own sodas here and I would say hands down the best soda I ever had. I mixed the mango & passion fruit with ginger berry lemonade and it was one of the best decisions I made so far in life. Can't say enough good things about this place. Only downside is limited seating and no pineapples. Ordering is just like ordering at a Chipotle, but with pizza. One pizza is enough to feed two people unless you're really hungry. After reading all the marvelous reviews of &pizza, I tried it out for lunch. I was totally satisfied, I ordered ancient grains pizza base, w/ a basil pesto base (& tomato/ olive pesto on a corner, where I piled all my experimental ingredients)- spinach,artichoke hearts, marinated mushrooms, handmade mozzarella, basil, tomato, olives-on the experimental corner, I added spicy chickpeas, vegan crumbles, & fig Marsala sauce- the only winner was the spicy chickpeas. The fig marsala was so nasty, I was scraping it off w/ napkins, I should have known better. Overall, a successful lunch, I had leftovers- not such a success for my friend who likes onions & green peppers on her pizza. read more

I have been thinking about trying &pizza for a long time. Just never got around to it. Based on the reviews, I had high expectations. My wife and I came away pretty disappointed. I recognize that every one has different taste in pizza, including crust. I grew up with Philly/NY style pizza; but can appreciate different styles. With that said, I cannot understand all the 4 and 5 star ratings. I find the food to be gimicky; not serious pizza. The crust was thin, like a cracker, which is sometimes OK, but the crust wasn't pleasant to eat. My jaw started to ache from chewing it. Like the rest of the pizza I customized, the basil pesto topping was almost flavorless. The veggie sausage was overcooked/dried out and not very tasty. Z Pizza, which closed in Springfield, had similarly creative toppings and put this to shame. My wife, daughter, and I each ordered separate pizzas. No one was enthusiastic. These were more like appetizers or something you get for a quick lunch. For my money, much better choices are Valentino's, Wegman's (honestly!), Johnny's NY Style (although inconsistent in quality), and sometimes Bozelli's. read more

They've taken something as simple as pizza and complicated the hell out of it. The pizza, while good, was not better than average. The ordering process is confusing even to the employees. They seemed to have a bewildered attitude like they didn't understand the point of the place and we're just waiting to get a better job. They are VERY skimpy with the cheese and neither of the pizzas I ordered seemed to be cut into slices. The soda is about as confusing as the rest, not even having something s plain as 'cola'. I'm not sure what this place is doing in a mall, when it should be in a more artsy venue. The space is nice and looked very just so and is clean and bright. But, like i said, the concept didn't even seem to be appreciated by the workers, who really would have been happier at Target or the DMV. The tables are what's called 'communal' which means you'll be eating with strangers, something I didn't like in the Army and I don't like now. I'm positive the reason it does sure a business is that it's the only plzza place in the mail. To recap, if you like pizza that is unnecessarily complicated to order from grumpy people that is average at best, then eat here. read more

I am so disappointed at who ever the current lunch manager is during lunch. I called to explain that I was having issuing placing an order online due to the fact that I am buying lunch for my office and the card I was using was not being accepted. I assumed calling and asking if I could possibly order over the phone and paying when I got there would be easier. She had a nasty attitude stating that it was busy and I could ONLY order online. I told her I did not want to inconvenience her as I understood that giving them my money was not enough for me to put them through a terrible inconvenience. I was sad because my office was looking forward to this treat as it is a Friday team lunch. I called back to leave some feedback on how disappointed I was and how I felt there should be some fixes done for any future orders...well the option for feedback #3 was not valid so although you are prompted to select it, you really can't. Fix your customer service please! Your pizza is too good to have nasty attitudes run your crew. read more

Great pizza, but watch your charges! Even after going back when charged for 1 pizza not ordered or recieved, the manager said it was refunded, and it was not. Checked with credit card. Didnt see it reflected on slip as a refund either. So, we paid over 40$ for three personal pizzas and tap water. Go back there, over that? Or just warn people? be warned. read more

I don't really like posting review this is my first time doing this and maybe I'll continue to do so in the future. This pizza place was a great find for me and my friend. It's a do it yourself pizza you choose the stuff you want they have a whole lot of variety to offer and I have to say that this is the best pizza I had in a long time. We came when there was a line and I picked up menu but since it's our first time there we were overwhelm a young lady approached us and greet us she ask if it was our first time there and we said yes she smiled and ask if we need any help and of course we did she explained how it works from the dough all the way to the toppings she was really sweet her name was Kim. We waited a while for the pizza because of the line but Kim brought our pizza to our table. This is quite a find for us the employees was super nice they have smiles in their faces even though they were so busy. It's good to find a place with great food and great service. I will be returning with my family and surely will recommend for my friends to try this place. Thanks. read more

And another thing that makes me not want to go there anymore was when one of the male staff was cracking my egg inside the trash: he literally touched the trash bag and then sprinkled the yolk on my pizza. The pizza is amazing. Such little grease and you can pick whatever toppings you want and by whatever I mean whatever from chickpeas to vegan cheese to all the meat you could imagine to all the veggies you could imagine. The service was impeccable. Abraham was super informative and concerned when I mentioned I was lactose intolerant and they used the 'hard' Parmesan cheese instead of the mozzarella. They will also make it 1/2 and 1/2 so we had (me and my son) a 1/2 vegged out pizza with pesto and spicy sauce and he had a meat pizza (on the other half) and the drinks are amazing and I don't feel bad getting a soda for a drink when it tastes amazing (free refills) and great flavors not to mention low calories and sugar cane sweetener. They stay open until 10 on weekdays and come help you as much as they can. Everyone was amazing. Isaiah, Ragda and Zay, the Assistant Manager made sure we were well accommodated and my kids too. It made a quick bite out way more worth it than a drive through meal at McDee's and it was only $9.99 for the pizza of our dreams.
