What's left after we came up for air!! So good.

We just arrived to our Airbnb after a long 1300 mile drive. Ordered 2 lil roni, cheese pie, and garlic knots. Best pizza we have had in a long time! The sauce is a little spicy, which is AMAZING! Love this!! The dough, sauce, garlic knots. Sooo good. We were so hungry we forgot to take photos before we tore into it!!

This place is cool- it's like a DIY or build your own pizza spot. Almost like a Chipotle for pizzas. The pizzas are good and taste like brick oven pizzas, even though they're not. I love coming here when I get my lashes done down the street.

This is a solid pizza place to go to. You get to choose one of their premade pizzas or customize your own. My go to is the American Honey pizza. It is a bit over priced for the amount of food you get but it is a fast and reliable place to get your pizza fix. I didn't like most of their drink selections. Many were bad knock offs of mainstream drink like root beer and Coke. They have fruity sodas that are a hit or miss. The atmosphere is plain but as you don't spend that much time in there it isn't a deal breaker.

&pizza has expended to Richmond. This location was a pain, being tiny, takeout only, but with no dedicated parking. The small lot across the street was for another store and said towing enforced, and given the tow truck I saw there, I'm inclined to believe them. The quality at &pizza has declined a bit over the years, with fewer options on basic crusts and toppings and not a lot of innovation. Comparatively, the CAVA across the alley had two levels of pretty seating, its own parking spots, and a menu that has kept up with the times. &pizza really hasn't added enough new vegetables or protein-heavy toppings, and I haven't been wowed by things like garlic knots or canned versions of their old sodas (what happened to my Fig Elixir?!?). In the grand scheme of things, it's still a good fast casual pizza, but this location wasn't good enough to merit coming without a discount.

I've never had a bad pizza from them. Everyone talks about them because they are that good. I love their slices because it's easier than a giant triangle. I love the way it's always fast but fresh. They have a good easy online ordering system also.

Went there for lunch and no customers were there & was pretty much greeted by the whole staff(like 10 of them)! Not sure if that was cool or just plain creepy. Did not know what to do(how to order). I was politely escorted to the back of the store where apparently you order and was again greeted by an army of staff. I was guided to an overhead TV menu of different types of pizza fixings pizzas. Most confusing at first but, understandable none the less. I opted for the Maverick. A cheese and meat type pizza and also added mushrooms and bacon. After I placed my order I assumed I needed to walk to the front of the store to pay for it? Yes. I was right. Greeted again, of course. And was asked what I ordered. I told her and paid. I then waited about 10 minutes and was asked to get back in line? Well apparently my pizza was not done yet! I was opted many different types of sauces and extra(FREE) toppings. That was awesome! I got Banana peppers. The pizza is pretty big! Elongated though and very satisfying looking. I took it back to my shop and enjoyed every bite, although it got a little cold toward the end but, thats because there was so much of it! I think pizza lovers well definitely enjoy this new VCU restaurant and I hope to see them flourish! *(Left off one star only because of the wait, although it is a pizza joint and waiting is unfortunatly inevitable).

I did not receive my order as a matter of fact I received the wrong order. It is difficult to get in touch with customer service. Even the pizza I received is cold. Would not recommend.

Nothing like having your pizza exactly the way you want it and they done scrimp on the topping either. The dough is great and thin.

Love &Pizza! Probably one of the best deals in town for delicious made to order flatbread pizza. Unlimited toppings and one price. You can't beat that. Be careful to not add too much on there as it will weigh the poor flatbread down lol but really, you get some great and non traditional toppings on there and just get creative . Delicious stuff. Friendly staff at this location. Highly recommended!

Reservations made well in advance is a must unless you're going at less popular times. Unfortunately parking is always a challenge because of reserved parking so plan ahead and come early if I have a reservation. Lots of steps leading up into the building but there is a ramp for handicap access. Kids were in town so we were visiting all our favorite places. Blue Atlas tapas style variety is always a hit with us. The only disappointment this time was the Elote dumplings. They were basically just corn gnocchi. Not a terrible flavor, but wouldn't bother ordering again. We started with some pretty fun cocktails, and a highlighted wine which I wish I could remember the name of...i think it started with N...It was a light bodied wine with mild floral notes, and a Prosecco feel without the bubbly that went perfect with all the plates. For cocktails, we got tea ceremony, la Siesta, Nicolada. I loved la Siesta and Tea ceremony for their uniqueness and smooth delivery. My son has a sweet tooth for cocktails, which the Nicolada fit but probably a little too sweet for me. For food we got the ever reliable pork belly Bao buns -a bit on the pricey side when you have to order extra to serve a table of four at $6 each, Next the aforementioned elote dumplings, -tacos de trucha which was good but not my favorite, -hanger steak, -Malaysian fried chicken - delicious and a good deal, -shish Barak; unique, and very tasty, -Vietnamese prawn toast, which was delicious , - -steamed mussels- good and enjoyed by most, and the -tortilla Española; solid but underwhelming compared to everything else. Also ordered the Brie special with toast that I loved but some of us got part of the rind which there was a lot of so wasn't as enjoyable for them but the flavors were there. Would've liked a few more heavy protein options but this did not affect our enjoyment of the meal. The hanger steak exceeded my expectations. I'm not always up for steak, but this was done perfectly and well accompanied with a marinated summer squash, cherry tomatoes, and pickled peppers. For dessert we got the ice cream sandwich and the chocolate banoffee budino. They were all out of the Black Forest meringue, so unfortunately, we could not try that. The ice cream sandwiches were a hearty serving and enjoyed by everyone at the table, but I thought the banoffee budino was the best. Unique and very tasty. Would have ordered one to have by myself if I wasn't so full lol.

Bartender also helped me select a glass of wine to go with my dinner. Everything was phenomenal. I highly suggest the octopus. I also suggest a sandwich. Their gluten-free bun was amazing. The broccolini that I had was good. I just personally prefer mine to be more well done than it was and the lemon aïoli that goes with the fries..... good night. Not much flavor. Kids chicken strips were a chicken patty that was overcooked and cut up. Also came out lukewarm at best. The Rueben was soggy and had about three slices of meat on it. Very little sauce on the sandwich no and was charged for extra when I asked for more. Added the Parmesan truffle fries which were powered Parmesan with some truffle oil sprinkled on top. Again all lukewarm. The Timberwolf burger had maybe two jalapeño's on it and the onions were burnt. The regular burgers and kids are the same size. Housemade pickles were soggy and the cucumber skins were tough. The quality of food from when we had eaten here a couple years ago was subpar in comparison. If you are going to charge for upscale items then they need to be upscale in the quality of what you are serving. Will not be back.
