Three other mechanics gave me quotes for various issues ranging $2,200 to $4,500! Howard insisted on doing a transmission fluid change with added anti-shutter fluid. Two weeks and $150 service later - and it is GONE. Here I thought I needed to replace the transmission with only 116,000 miles. I can tell right from the beginning Howard was an honest and personable man, hence why I trusted him when I was convinced the truck had other issues. Good to know he does almost all mechanic work which is why I will be returning for absolutely everything. So thankful for my experience with Advanced Transmission.

It has a sealed transmission unit and no dipstick. There were no problems but it has 130k, and the person before me owned it since 80k and never changed the fluid. For all I know fluid has never been changed in the car. I decided now was time. I spoke to Howard over the phone on Thursday and came in Saturday in the AM. His helper Roger scanned my car gladly no transmission codes came up but 2 other non related codes did and he showed me. He took off the tranny pan, cleaned it, put a new filter, and pumped 6 qts of tranny fluid in with the machine. Howard and roger were very helpful and straightforward. Price out the door was $150. Fyi they also do tires there and have an AC refrigerant recovery machine there for your AC needs. Definitely recommend and will be going back there. Thank you guys!

I have been driving around without an a/c deciding if I want to invest in the car at 128k miles but needed a handful of 125k maintenance as well. I feel good about the work they did and will be back next month for some body work. I was very cautious after having all my automotive maintenance done at Honda for all my Hondas until recently when I went somewhere and it was a bust. I decided to leave the truck. The shop reached out to me later in the day and discussed the issue I dropped it off for and informed me they found a couple other problems. They texted me a quote with each item separated so I could accept or decline what work I wanted completed. The front desk even suggested that I hold off on the lesser important issues until we were sure that the primary issue wasn't going to become a bigger issue. Once they successfully fixed the first issue. I then decided to have them correct the other to problems they found. This type of service is hard to find and greatly appreciated. All the service was A+ service, and the work is guaranteed for 12 months. Some may say the price was a little high, but the service you get and the warranty was worth it. I requested service on a coolant leak and once the fixed that, we moved on to the other problems. Highly recommend

I'm the kind of guy that likes to watch the work in action, if the place allows that. So, there I am watching them take the new tires out of the back seat and start to jack up the car with a portable jack. Of course, they asked for the lock nut, which I had to search for; memory starting to slow a bit at my age lol. Gave the lock nut to them and they proceeded to take the tires off. Dismounting each tire, mounting the new ones, and balancing them was nice to see in real time. The site manager examined my brakes and said the pads were still okay. All in all, I'm usually in and out in under 30 minutes. Love this place; highly recommended.
