Absolutely unacceptable. Yesterday, we parked at this marina and paid $30 for parking, as…read moreinstructed. We placed the receipt on the dashboard, clearly showing the date and time. However, due to the Miami heat, the window slightly rolled down and partially covered the bottom of the ticket. When we returned from our boat ride, we were shocked to find a boot on our car. The staff said it was because the date wasn't fully visible--even though the ticket was right there and we had paid. What's worse is that the receipt doesn't say anywhere that it must be fully visible at all times. We double-checked and are attaching photos of the ticket as proof. We went to the office to explain the situation, but they took zero responsibility. They simply told us there was nothing they could do. In the end, we were forced to pay $62.50 to get the boot removed: $50 for a "Boot Fee" and $12.50 for an "Administration Fee." So we ended up paying $92.50 just to park for a few hours--$30 initially, plus $62.50 because a piece of paper moved. This feels like a perfect scam: everyone wins but you. Terrible customer service, aggressive policies, and absolutely no accountability. We're attaching videos and photos of the boot, the original receipt, and the payment we had to make. Avoid this place at all costs.

Responsible, however we had delay a bit, but he gave us 30 min extra time for that, which is totally fine and appreciated. Suggestion to come on weekdays due there is so many boats and jet skies around and the water gets very rough even if its not wind, on top of that weekends are $30 more - so you have a good reasons to go weekdays. Also, there is a parking $10 PayByPhone app, keep that in mind, and be 15-20 min before so you can get an instructions and get ready for outstanding experience! We will definitely be back.

But this summer with the COVID-19 and having to social distance we rented a boat. It was the best idea ever. The first time we rented the smaller 4-5 passenger boat for half a day. The boat was super clean and spacious. We arrived at the Key Biscayne marina on a busy Sunday. Jiri, texted me the instructions on where to find my FREE parking pass. After we parked, we walked over to the marina and we were greeted by Thomas and Jiri. Before the boat ride, you receive like a 20 min informational "class" but it was obvious to both Jiri & Thomas that we knew about boating and our "backyard" the biscayne bay. So we were on our way in less than 5 mins. We rented the boat the day of because us Miami locals know that the weather of Miami changes and being out on a boat you must have amazing weather in order to be safe and have a great time. Anyways, we rented the boat for 4 hours and arrived late to return it and Jiri and Thomas were both there waiting with smiles. Then the same week, we came back again. This time we rented the bigger boat, again it's a brand new boat. Everything was clean and amazing looking. We went out again for half a day (4 hours) and we had another amazing time. I highly recommend using these guys. Check out boatsetter.com for renting boats, it's like an airBnB but for boats.

The abandoned 6,566 seat Miami Marina Stadium was built in 1963 on land donated for water sports, and designed by architect Hilario Candela, then a 28-year-old recent immigrant from Cuba. It was dedicated as the Ralph Munroe Marine Stadium opened, completed at a cost of around $2 million ($16.7 million, adjusted for current inflation). A speed boat racer, James Tapp, was killed on opening day. The venue, located just south of Downtown Miami, was revered for its scenic views of Downtown and Miami Beach, hosting motorboat events, and events featuring the likes of Mitch Miller, Sammy Davis, Jr., and U.S. President Richard Nixon (whose seasonal winter residence, dubbed "the Florida White House," was on nearby Key Biscayne). In 1979, Miami Rowing Club relocated to an empty lot between the stadium and MAST Academy (then known as Planet Ocean museum). The Miami International Regatta has been hosted by Miami Rowing Club since 1973, the basin provides a 1,500 meter 7 lane course for practice, training and racing. From its opening for nearly 30 years, the stadium was used for its intended water sports as well as concerts, sporting events such as boxing (which began in 1972), and even figured prominently in the 1967 Elvis Presley film Clambake, serving as the scene of Elvis' climatic speedboat race. In the wake of Hurricane Andrew, it was declared an unsafe building on September 18, 1992. In 2004, $3 million was pledged in a municipal bonds by county residents for the restoration and renovation of the facilities.
