I like this marina because it's less populated than Haulover and much easier to access the areas I like to stroll by on when on the boat. Stiltsville is only a short trip away so definitely put that on your list when launching from here. If the wind is really strong, I recommend going to the little beach by the old Miami Marine Stadium thats nearby. Once you pull into the beach area, the wine seems to be contained. This marina offers free parking for guests coming to use the dock or the guests of marina members using their boat. Plenty of Paddleboarding is done in this area so as long as you come equipped, your trip here will surely be a positive one. Make sure to check the weather ahead of time as the summer is always filled with impromptu rainstorms in the afternoons. It's close to the Miami River and Bill Baggs Park so scenery is all amongst you. I find it much more convenient and functional than any other marina and so I look forward to every launch I get from here. Plus, the boat spots all have a hose at each station to properly flush your motor and rinse your boat after a day out on the water.

Very nice park on Key Biscayne. However the word park is somewhat overrated. As more of a marina that it is a park. There's a switch those two words around. But it is a huge marina which is very clean and neat and nice with lots and lots of security. If you were to park your boat here he would probably do well with a number for security officers they have here. Quite comforting.

SHE hates dog Beware of this female employee If by mistake you take a dog she will cursed you and your dog. She will get in you face.

I went to the park to get some information about the diving shop and a female employee for the county started cursing and being unprofessional. She then proceeded to step out of the and get in my face.she was cursing at mr and my dog. As soon as i took my phone to recorded she got back in her car. Everything started because i went to book a dive trip but when i got there, the place was closed because it was saturday and i thought it was open until 4. When i headed back to the car an officer started cursing because i had my dog (did not know dogs were not allow in the park and no signs posted anywhere). I told the person i did not know that and apoligize, it was my mistake and that i wasnt gonna happen again. She kept cursing me and harrassing me , other people noticed her screaming and approached me to tell me they were also harrassed by her.

I love hanging at marinas and this is a particularly good one to hang at. There are lots of boats, really good docking facilities, plenty of friendly boaters and a good bunch of charter boats in order to go out and catch your fresh fish. Then, being in Crandon Park and the Key Biscayne vicinity; always a delightful pleasure.

This is a very nice clean and organized marina. The boat we chartered is more in this marina along with about 10 others. It's a very nice place.

The best part of the trip was how we had the boat exclusively to ourselves! I didn't know it'd be a private tour until the day I came. So, the boat was just a total of 3 people (captain included). The water temperature was great and the clarity was decent. We even saw two dolphins! You meetup at Whiskey Joe's at the marina and you can start your excursion immediately. I liked that you didn't need to wait around much. I was able to see some cool looking fish, a bottom feeder and a crab. You get 2 hours for the snorkeling and you're not required to wear any life vests (in fact, we weren't offered any and I didn't see any). The water is super shallow so it didn't seem dangerous at all. The water is also salty and easy to float in. The boat was nearby the main snorkeling area. The bad: The area for snorkeling was pretty small. It was an artificial reef where the fish were but outside of that area there is just seagrass and there's no living things to observe. The website says snorkeling starts at $75/pp and up but that's misleading b/c that's only the price if you have 8+ people. When I came to the marina, the worker who had me sign paperwork said that "$25/hour tip is required" when I got an email saying 15% tip is optional. My husband clarified and he said "yes, it's required" but later retracted his statement after I clarified that it was strange to give tip upfront before we even went on the excursion. However, I did already give 15% tip upfront on 50% of the value and then Zelled an additional $25 tip to the captain himself afterward. The cost for snorkeling ended up being $407 for 2 people (pricey). The interesting: The captain swam with us to lead us to the reef and then swam back and was mostly on his phone.

I used WhatsApp and they respond really quickly. Just provide details like the day, amount of people and the time. You can also book through their website which I also did but WhatsApp was immediate service. We quickly found an option that fit our budget and they send over a contract to sign. A small deposit is due during the time you sign your contract with the remaining balance and tip on the day of your trip. They offer drink and food services but we opted to bring our own as they provide an ice cooler. Our captain, Daniel, was great. He texted me right before and we let him know we were running late. Our Uber dropped us off at the wrong location which made us more late but he still gave us our time back when he did not have to all. Once he helped us onto the boat, he asked where we wanted to go and took us to a small island with other boats. He also gives you full access to the music. They also have an option for a large floatie for everyone to lay out and relax on. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a private boat ride. Prices are very reasonable. Easily our favorite excursion on the trip!

The woman made eye contact with me and knew I was there, but just kept looking at her phone and having a casual conversation with her coworker. It was honestly weird... and frustrating. Then they were very arrogant. They were trying to tell me what size kite and board I should use, even though I've been kiting for years and knew which size I should be on. I ultimately took their advice, but had to come all the way back in to switch to the size I originally wanted. They also don't advertise the true price to rent gear. It said $150 for 3 hours on the website when really you have to pay an additional $40 + tax. The 40 covers "insurance." The real cost was over $200. Then I asked to buy some sunblock and realized at that point I was just getting ripped off. They gave me a tube the size of a chapstick for $20. I asked if there were any other options... nope! That tube lasted me two applications. Next time I will bring my own gear and kite somewhere else. What a shame.
