Thug who threatened my son when he told him he didn't have cash! He got angry when we offered to pay via credit card!

We were members here for several years and left (thankfully!). Their tow away signage is poor and not sure if they are complying with city codes. I will further investigate. But BEWARE of the company they do business with!!!! KB BOOTING SERVICES booted my son's car last night (he's a minor) and because he didn't have cash on hand the thug got nasty with my son, yelling profanities and telling him he needed his a$$kicked!!! We were on the phone with him and could hear the horrible thug yelling at my son! We called the company 3 times and each time the person who answered said they would call us right back! We are STILL WAITING for a return call!!! Today we called Rickenbacker to tell them the type of people they are associated with and they stand behind the THUGS! The kick backs must be good! They are dirty people and I would BEWARE! On another note, the marina is filthy with oil on the ground from the fork lifts! If you don't care to go home with black oil spots all over the back of your bathing suits, cover ups, Tshirts, and legs, then this is the marina for you! So happy we are no longer members here!!!

if you plan to rent a boat there beware of a parking scam. This is how it works...boat company offers free parking with reservation, when you arrive you go to the marina office and they give you a visitor parking pass. no written instructions instructions or map provided. no visible signs where visitors can park. upon return you discover the parking company that works for the marina booted your vehicle. you look around and multiple cars received same treatment. if you don't believe me scroll down and read the other reviews from multiple people complaining about the same thing. Ironically, the city of miami sent the marina owners a contract default due to parking...they promised to pay the city $2M to build a parking lot but didn't. Now I know why. I'm sure people would prefer to just pay $20. for parking if there was an option, instead of getting booted. BTW, don't bother to complain as they don't care and will blame it on you. Such a bad way to run a business, no surprise miami voters voted to not to renew their contract and bid it out.

Excellent place to store your boat either wet or dry or to stop off on your travels. Can accommodate boats up to 100' and a 9' draft in the wet storage and up to 20,000 lbs in the dry storage. They also have sailboat moorings. They have a fuel dock and a convenience store also. When you stay there you are within walking distance of the Rusty Pelican, Joe's Tiki Bar, Bayside Hut and the beach.

We were here on Saturday and our cars were broken into. All our stuff was taken. No point on visiting a place that has no security.

The abandoned 6,566 seat Miami Marina Stadium was built in 1963 on land donated for water sports, and designed by architect Hilario Candela, then a 28-year-old recent immigrant from Cuba. It was dedicated as the Ralph Munroe Marine Stadium opened, completed at a cost of around $2 million ($16.7 million, adjusted for current inflation). A speed boat racer, James Tapp, was killed on opening day. The venue, located just south of Downtown Miami, was revered for its scenic views of Downtown and Miami Beach, hosting motorboat events, and events featuring the likes of Mitch Miller, Sammy Davis, Jr., and U.S. President Richard Nixon (whose seasonal winter residence, dubbed "the Florida White House," was on nearby Key Biscayne). In 1979, Miami Rowing Club relocated to an empty lot between the stadium and MAST Academy (then known as Planet Ocean museum). The Miami International Regatta has been hosted by Miami Rowing Club since 1973, the basin provides a 1,500 meter 7 lane course for practice, training and racing. From its opening for nearly 30 years, the stadium was used for its intended water sports as well as concerts, sporting events such as boxing (which began in 1972), and even figured prominently in the 1967 Elvis Presley film Clambake, serving as the scene of Elvis' climatic speedboat race. In the wake of Hurricane Andrew, it was declared an unsafe building on September 18, 1992. In 2004, $3 million was pledged in a municipal bonds by county residents for the restoration and renovation of the facilities.
