Seems like I'm always visiting this place. My go to place to get new tires balanced and mounted. They're honest and the pricing is great. Very professional and friendly. I'm the kind of guy that likes to watch the work in action, if the place allows that. So, there I am watching them take the new tires out of the back seat and start to jack up the car with a portable jack. Of course, they asked for the lock nut, which I had to search for; memory starting to slow a bit at my age lol. Gave the lock nut to them and they proceeded to take the tires off. Dismounting each tire, mounting the new ones, and balancing them was nice to see in real time. The site manager examined my brakes and said the pads were still okay. $20 for a patch is a decent price and the service was fast. They patched my flat and took off the spare pretty quickly. I was driving around with a lug nut missing because the thread was damages and they also tried to fix that, but could find an extra one lying around. But the owner told me exactly where to go to get a spare or the equipment I needed to fix the thread if I wanted to. If you pay cash you can save about 4% on the card fee for the machine that gets used to process it. This is down the street from Side Mission Garage who recommended them in the first place. They messed up my tires and one of the Mexicans that' works here assumed that I did not speak Spanish and was telling his boss how he will not balance my tires, even though I paid for it, because he was not happy that I brought up with his boss that he messed up. This morning I got a flat tire on my commute to work in Pompano Beach FL. After getting a spare on it was time to call around to find a shop. I've recently moved to the area so I relied on online reviews to and google maps to find shops near my work. I am so glad I found Dixie Tire! The owner was able to give me an estimate over the phone for the price to replace my tires and told me he could have it done today! I decided I needed all 4 replaced (they were very old!) and they gave me a quote right away and had the tires in stock. They were accommodating of my tight schedule with a short lunch break they had me in and out in under 45 minutes! I called three other places afterwards, but no one gave me a better price or better customer service than Dixie Tire. I highly recommend them. I appreciated their kind staff, comforting atmosphere to wait, and quality work! There is little space to park so be prepared for that, but their team of staff made it very easy to show me where to pull my vehicle in and when it was time to back out and leave one of their technicians guided me out and even stood in the road to ensure incoming traffic saw me to make sure I left safely.
