Running late for my appointment, I was frazzled when I walked in and I was immediately offered a large bottle of cold water after being shocked at what the inside of this tint shop looked like! I was searching and making phone calls to multiple locations for about a month before I found The Tint Team. The reason why I went with them was because of a couple of things he mentioned to me during our phone call. Many tint places do not specialize specifically on tints and quality tends to lack because of it. Sometimes when you pay for the upper price tints with a lifetime warranty, there are some shady places that will put the cheaper tints on when they take your car to the back without telling you. (The installation of their work is completely visible to their customers if they want to make sure they are getting what they paid for) He informed me that they only specialize in tints and are all about customer service which is great because if I have a problem with my tints, I do not want to go back and forth about fixing them because it's a waste of time. He informed me that if a window breaks due to a storm or burglary, they will re-tint the window once it's replaced for free under the lifetime warranty. This made me choose them especially after his presentation because the tints were going to go onto my wife's Jeep. Since she's pregnant, I wanted to make sure she was comfortable and didn't have to worry about issues with the tints if in the future she has a problem with them, especially when I am gone with the military. The tints were a little pricey but we went with the top of the line tints which reduces the UV dramatically and keeps the car cool. Another reason why we went with the pricey ones was because we plan on keeping the vehicle for a long time. That was one thing he mentioned to us as well. He only recommended the two upper lines if we planned on keeping the car for a long time other wise he didn't recommend spending too much on them. Last year my wife and I drove from Boynton Beach to Deerfield Beach to meet with Fahad. We were looking for two things. 1) A film to reduce the heat on my enclosed patio that faces east; and 2) to get a flim that would offer us privacy during the day. Fahad explained different films and features. The one he recommended was one he had on his front window. That is what we installed and they did a fantastic job. Terrible customer service. I purchased a Groupon to have my girlfriend's new car tinted. Not the first Groupon I've bought, and not the first time I've dealt with a business, which is why I'm not fully understanding the need for the customer service agent to speak to me like a 5 year old. After purchasing the Groupon, I called to schedule an appointment later that week. I spoke with a gentleman who, although calm and relatively nice (besides the condescending tone at times), was not helpful. He told me that Groupons were only used to fill-up their schedule so I had to use it at a time that was convenient to them, not to me..."its in the fine print." Turns out, that was one of his favorite statements, although he often was wrong. I begrudingly, even after pointing out that nowhere in the fine-print did it say that I was to be used as a "filler" since I decided to purchase a Groupon for a deal that the business advertised, decided to schedule an appointment during the middle of the morning on a work-day. I would make arrangements. Best laid plans, right? Sure enough, a business meeting got scheduled that did not allow me to make my appointment. I called the store as soon as I knew to advise them that I needed to reschedule my appointment. I again spoke with the same gentleman as before who told me that I had to either go to the scheduled appointment or lose the Groupon. There were no reschedulings or cancellations allowed. "Its in the fine print." I advised him that the fine print did not reflect that, but rather that the "Merchants cancellation policy applied." He said that is their policy. They normally take a deposit, but since its a Groupon, they take a merchant fee, so there is no deposit and they don't allow rescheduling. He also advised that I should take it up with Groupon, not him. Snidely, he said he was just trying to save me the time and trouble. Thankfully, when I contact Groupon, they did refund my purchase price, but that does not remedy the time, trouble, or disappointment I had with The Tint Team. While their product might be decent, I cannot justify even thinking about referring them to anyone based on their extremely poor customer service. If they don't want to honor the Groupon deal and treat me like any of their customers, then they shouldn't have put the deal on Groupon. Shame on them. read more

Tried to get an estimate from them on the phone and it's as impossible as to get last year's snow. "Fast talking eddie" on the phone will get you into "the woods" by talking about different makes and models and how one car needs different tint than another , just to upsell and make more money out of "average joe". But in the end they use off brand film that nobody ever heard of and will charge you $ 100 more on average than any other competitive shop. Where do I start! They charged me 200$ and said they would come to me. Seemed expensive but I wanted the best quality tint and hey they were coming to me..... So I agreed happily. Well when Gina showed up she asked me how dark I wanted.... I said the darkest u can. I wAs never shown samples but I've had cars tinted in the past and after my headache with this company I learned the darkest is 5%. Well at least I learned something. So anyways, Gina started.... Then her other person showed up. After it was done I said it wasn't dark enough. I was told it was dark it was just where the sun was at that moment. Ummmm no.... I don't want the sun shining through..... So it's not dark enough. Well they said let it settle and if it's not dark enough call back. Cool. So not only did I call back because it wasn't dark enough... But they never took off the old tint and they just tinted over old scratched up tint. I called right away.. Gina sounded annoyed that I wanted them fixed.... But being nice I told her I'd let it settle and see if it gets better. So fast forward 2 weeks. I am not happy. I called and Gina told me 5 times she would call me back that she had to talk to the worker. Seriously.... 5 times and I waited over night for a call back that was suppose to be in 20 minutes.!! Each time I spoke to her.... She sounded so annoyed! I already paid... They agreed to a lifetime guarantee.... It's been 2 weeks... R u serious?!?!? Finally she just said "we can't do it at your house u have to bring it to the warehouse/garage. A little pissed about that but I kept my composure and agreed. Mind u I live 45 minutes from the address given and she told me it would take 2-3 hrs. So.... On my one day off..... I woke up and drove to an address that led me to????? Nowhere.!!!! I called her again and the guy who she works with answered and told me that he wasn't available and she never told him I was coming. I now lost it! Wtf kind of business are they running? After calming down I agreed to let him come back to my house and fix everything. Which he did.... And he was nice about it. However I still have scratches under the new tint. And it's only been 2 days. My suggestion. Find a place that has a garage and valid address.... This woman Gina was the most inconsiderate woman and she needs to learn the importance of customer service. Next time I'll go to Hialeah where I'll get a better job for 1/2 the price. read more

The reason why I say that is because when it comes to car tinting I feel as if you should do your homework. there are too many companies out there. Plus the competition is real. I called for a quote around 4 PM yesterday and was invited to come in the same day. Normally you have to make an appointment with any tint company but thankfully I got in the same day.
