Finally, the day of installation. Suppose to be to the house between 7-8. Well, 8:30 no show, I call R & B no answer I leave a message. 9:30 no show, 10:30 no show, I call and leave another message. At 10:45 I finally get a call from Brian the owner who tells me he had installers call in. We have to reschedule. Three strikes. No offer of anything off. I am sorry but being the owner when your installer called in, he should have been in the store seeing who had a delivery that day and get on that phone. Not 3 hours later. I have posted this on FB and several people have said they hoped I cancel. Well, I didn't. I did have it installed despite the very poor management skills. The carpet is beautiful however I went to pay, and the installers have no way of taking a charge. So I had to call R & B. This is one messed up business.

It took us a while to notice quite a bit of time had passed since the visit without receiving a quote. Despite repeated followups, we never received a quote. Because we made the mistake of not getting another quote right away, the carpet project, to be performed by another vendor, is now delayed until next spring. Never a word from CarpetsPlus as to why they did not provide a quote. We wish that we had been immediately told before the visit that they were unable to perform the work, or let us know upon one of our followup calls or visits. We are still mystified, and angry, that no explanation was given as to why we were not given a quote.

The house is from 1908 and the walls were challenging to get the tile installed and look perfect. Tony was definitely the right person for this job. The waterproofing of the showers and steam room was thorough and Tony was great at explaining what he was going to do, and explaining what he had done. He left the job areas clean and worked quickly coming every day including weekends to complete the job. His company is definitely the one to use for any tiling work.
