    Mixed Grill Platter

I ordered the mixed grill to go and it was so much smaller than I thought it would be. The meat was good but the lamb chop was small, the kofta was small, and the skewers were pretty average. Wouldn't come back, but it was okay. The rice was good, though, especially with the tzatziki sauce on top.

Anatolia is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville. My boyfriend and I went for dinner for our anniversary this week and I went for my birthday last year. Both times and many other times, it has always been so good. At this point I always get the lamb Shish kabob and if you like lamb then you can absolutely not go wrong with them. My boyfriend got the Beef Kofta kabobs and they were yummy as well in addition to the stuffed grape leaves. To make things even better parking is super easy with a huge lot right out front that a few different restaurants and stores share. I've never had an issue with parking.

Food was flavorful and I loved the free bread. They had four vegetarian main options, and all the soups and many of the appetizers were vegetarian. My favorite starters were the lentil soup and the free bread. We also tried hummus and ezme. The ezme tasted like Mediterranean pico de gallo. The vegetarian sampler had more mellow flavors and the rice tasted quite plain. Our server was friendly. We sat outside (dog friendly) and they had 4 tables four outdoor seating with roof overhead (in case of rain).

For a long time we talked about Anatolia with our neighbors as a good place for traditional Turkish ethnic food. Finally we did it. Restaurant is located in the strip mall. Nothing to bring to your attention to walk in. That's why Yelp is helpful and I enjoy writing reviews. It's a traditional seating, nice clean table, what I like because reminds me of the my home. Service was excellent with extra effort from the server to accommodate meals choices and specially wine. We wanted to taste Turkish white wine. All four meals were excellent including dessert that we shared. Finally, prices are a very reasonable . It's a place to come back and maybe, enjoy the lunch menu.

Food: 4/5. Service: 4/5. Ambiance: 4/5. We stopped here as it was nearby and we wanted to eat middle eastern. We were not disappointed. The service was good and they kept bringing out fresh bread for us. We had stuffed grape leaves and filo dough fried and stuffed with cheese. Both yummy. Then for an entree we had adana kabob (my favorite) and iskender kabob (also very good). Definitely will be returning to try the rest of the menu out.

I enjoyed everything that we ordered here today. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff were nice as well. I would recommend.

This restaurant is totally amazing. Turkish food is to die for and this place is the perfect place to try it in the US. The atmosphere is very pleasing and the service is very good. I recommend trying the rakı; it's a little rough, but worth it for an authentic Turkish experience. If you get any meat, make sure you dip it in the yogurt, it will greatly enhance the experience. A friend and I stopped by around 4 PM on a Thursday evening to take advantage of their "Golden Hour" specials. There's a good amount of space to spread out if you have a bigger group, but we just grabbed a few seats at the bar. The owner, Taylor, was also tending the bar during our visit, and he walked us through the concept while also providing thoughtful wine recommendations. We both started with a glass of crisp and cold prosecco, and then switched over to try Vino Volta, which kind of tasted like a good craft beer's bubbly cousin. They even have a few light bites on their menu if you need something to snack on - but since they're located in L&L Market, there's plenty of other food options nearby as well! This is a special place to sit and sip on high quality, curated wines with good company, and I'm confident I'll be back again soon.

Prices for a glass of wine are reasonable as is (I mean, where can you expect to spend less than 14/glass in most cities these days, no less Nashville?), but the Golden Hour is the luxardo cherry on top. We sat at the bar for some late afternoon spritzes and enjoyed speaking with the very knowledgeable owner. His version of a Hugo Spritz is literal perfection.

It's a great wine bar with an amazing selection of natural wines, delicious food, the best service, and an amazing ambiance. What's not to like? Sauced works a little bit differently than a lot of wine bars. We walked in and were welcomed right away. When we grabbed seats at the bar (there are also tables), our bartender (I feel terrible that I'm not 100% sure of his name since we had such a great time with him - but I'm pretty sure it was John) asked us about wines we like or are drawn to. They don't have a printed menu - they ask you what you like or are in the mood for and then they they'll pour you tastes until you find something you love. Then they have several fridges of bottles you can purchase and open. And their selection here is also great. We saw bottles by several winemakers we stalk (when we see, we usually buy). The wines our bartender recommended (based on our tastes and preferences) were great, too. They also have a great menu of food items - great for a meal or a snack. We ordered their mortadella sandwich, which will likely go down as one of my favorite sandwiches of the year (great bread, tons of mortadella, pistachio cream, gooey melted cheese)... I think I covered this already, but the service was excellent: attentive (we didn't have empty glasses for long at all before we were involved in a conversion about what we wanted to pour next), friendly, helpful... The bar itself is also great - tons of character: walls with smoke from candles, great lighting, little intimate nooks for seating... I had a great time at Sauced: great wine, great food, a great time. I'm not in Nashville as often as I should be (in laws), but I'd be happy to visit Sauced every time I'm in Nashville. Sauced might be an outpost of a Brooklyn wine bar, but Nashville is still so lucky to have it. Most cities don't have a wine bar as great as Sauced.

While I enjoy getting to talk to the bartender about what I like or may want to try, if they're busy, I don't want to just spend all of our time asking them the price of things. We definitely had a little sticker shock at the end of the night, but this was also my first time here so that could be something I just wasn't expecting! Aside from that, the service and wines were great. So while it isn't somewhere I see myself putting in my weekly rotation, it's a nice option for a special occasion or nicer evening.

Parking is challenging but the walks aren't too aweful. Postino's brunch is much better than the well known one down the street. The atmosphere is open and relaxed, not crammed. The outdoor seating looks great but not on the chilly day we were here. Reservations are recommended on the weekend and we had them but they wouldn't have been necessary before noon. We were seated by our server upon our arrival. The wine list covers a wide range of flavors but isn't very deep. The full bar can conjure anything. Kyle came back serveral times to get multiple orders. Menu items are closer to tapas to be enjoyed while drinking, so Postino's might not be your number 1 dining location but great for a gather place or pre-dinner cocktail. We popped around the menu trying different things. For us, the bruschetta is reminiscent of smorrebrod, Danish open-faced sandwiches. Those are a hit with us. Everything felt house made with carefully thought out flavors. Tops was the salmon pesto bruschetta and the vanilla glaze dipping sauce for the donut bites. By the way, excellent preparation of the eggs. With its central location, this is a great place for us to gather and talk.

The ambience is still nice, but we were seated so close to other tables it was a bit uncomfortable. The server was great (super sweet waitress) but the food was inconsistent. Even she seemed to be aware of this. Here's what we tried: Steak Tartare: 1/10 - Hated it. Worst steak tartare I've had. It tasted literally ONLY of capers and mustard. We couldn't even see the color of the meat. Even our waitress said it was so inconsistent and sometimes bad. Keep in mind they did comp this which was very nice of them. Whipped Ricotta: 9/10 - Okay this was AWESOME. The pita bread was soft, the ricotta was smooth and sweet, and all the toppings on it were just perfect pairings. Chefs kiss. White Bolognese: 5/10 - Pretty mid/bland. Just kind of tasted like pasta with Alfredo sauce and some meat. Eh. Truffle Fries: 5/10 - Standard fries. There is parmesan and truffle at the top but none on any of the middle or bottom fries, so you don't really want to keep eating them. Brussels: 8/10 - Lovely fry on these. They tasted very rich, but could've had more depth to them in my opinion. More crunch perhaps, or even a zingier sauce. Beef tenderloin: 7/10 - I mean it was good beef, but nothing special. The steak just kind of tasted like an average cut of beef. The au jus was good, though, along with the mashed potatoes. Chocolate cherry cake : 4/10 - They offered this to us for free for our anniversary, but I didn't love it. The chocolate flavor was super mild, and the cherry was kind of sickeningly artificial.
