An's is a local chain with a few gelato shops all with different cute themes. This outpost at Petco Park has the theme of an athletic field service office. It's located near section 104 behind home plate in an area called the Mercado, which is totally hidden because it faces outwards from the ballpark. But those who know really know, as evidenced by the long line in the latter half of the game. Small, medium and large sizes, the large can be served in a waffle cone, which is enormous. I had the clay flavor, which was Nutella and brownies. Yum!

The cafe features a small indoor space paired with a bustling sidewalk patio that is perfect for people wanting to bask in the sunshine! Because of its location, street parking is highly competitive and difficult to find, especially during the weekends. Service was quick and efficient. You pay at the register for either a cup or cone, and then order your gelato. Prices are reasonable. And the quality of ingredients in their gelato taste like fresh, ripe produce in season rather than sugary syrups or artificial extracts. Pappalecco gelato offers a pure flavor profile that develops cleanly on the palate like a bell curve and leaves a pleasant, lingering aftertaste 10/10! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a new gelato spot! We're definitely looking forward to our next visit!

After waiting almost an hour in the rain, I finally reached the front of the store to queue the interior line. Unfortunately for me, the current season's linens had a matcha theme, but at least there were 2 options that nixed the matcha ingredient. Once at the counter, the friendly dry cleaning attendants took my party on a flight through all the flavors that An had on display for the season. It was a really cool experience and definitely the highlight of the visit, as I've never seen any gelato parlor that offered the option for guests to sample all their wares. At the end of the sample flight, I decided to get a tall size of the Mix Master with the Greensboro. Maybe the hype, the unique concept of the store, and all the glowing reviews made me have really high expectations, but I thought the gelato itself was just fine. The flavors were very light and the texture wasn't as rich and creamy as I had at other shops. The execution of running a gelato shop under the guise of a dry cleaners was really fun and quirky, but I don't know if I would wait in such a long line for their gelato again the next time I visit San Diego. Perhaps the gelato was just not to my liking, but it was definitely something fun to try at least once if you've never been!

Damn. I love pizza…read more I really do. The issue here is that Gelati & Peccati has made it very difficult to enjoy other pizzas. It was so good that I've had to compartmentalize a bit so I can go about my life enjoying lesser pizza such that I can still kind of find a "bad" slice of greasy pizza satisfying. Anyway. Gelati & Peccati, roman-style pizza extraodinaires. I have tried a few of their slices by now, but my absolute favorite is the Lussuria. Potato on pizza is something I've always loved, and don't see enough of, so I knew I had to get it here. It did not disappoint. When I stop by to try something new, I always, always have to get a slice of Lussuria. Others I've tried have been the Meatball, Piccante and Mangia. They've all been great, but a step below Lussuria. 5/5, will come again, and again, and again

All three were really good, with a crispy crust on the outside while still staying soft and fluffy inside. The Artichoke Buffalo Mozz probably surprised me the most, and the Diavola had a nice little kick to it. Oh and the Service was good and the overall vibe was pretty chill. I skipped the gelato this time, but I'll definitely be back to try it. Solid spot overall.

Once a high end hat shop, it is now a really cute gelato shop with the hats as a backdrop. The staff was really good at explaining the gelato flavor profiles as well as providing samples.
