Rushed dentists. Unprofessional I've visited twice and each time the dentists I was given were either preoccupied helping multiple patients at the same time or rushing through my dental work to get to the next patient. Additionally I had asked a dentist to shave down leftover composite resin and I ended up getting half of my front tooth half shaved off. The composite wasn't on that tooth to begin with. I really wanted to like this place because the staff was friendly and it's close to my house which was convenient. Unfortunately, they seem to be over-diagnosing in a financially predatory way. At my appointment, I was told I had 5 cavities I would need filled and that I had bone loss and required scaling and planing on top of my cleaning that day. This was all very surprising to me and after reading some other similar reviews, I decided to go to another dentist for a second opinion before going back for the cavities. Turns out my new dentist says I only have one cavity and an old filling that needs to be replaced and I show no indication of bone loss and they have no idea why they had me do scaling and planing. I also had the same odd issue with scheduling as is mentioned in other reviews. I picked an appointment time at noon and got a text message confirming that 12:00 time, then I got two voicemails reminding me of my appointment at 1:00 and then at 1:30. Super confusing. Watch out for this place. I think the only reason their rating isn't that bad is because they push patients to leave 5 star yelp reviews at the office. After an insurance change, I needed a new dentist. I came to an amazing smile as they were close to my work and had appointments in the later afternoon. I went for two cleanings and got my very first filling with them. They were friendly and the filling wasn't that bad (although it felt so weird in my mouth for the longest time, but maybe that's just how it is? I have nothing to compare it to). The dentist is really nice, calm, and professional. The only weird thing was that they suggested that I needed my wisdom teeth out (which, of course I've heard repeatedly) and they made an appointment for me to come in for a free scan/X-ray to check my wisdom teeth before proceeding with the removal. The day of the scan, I got a call asking if I could come in earlier in the day but I couldn't do they kept my late afternoon appointment. I went in and no one was there but one tech. They explained that the dentist in charge of these things had to leave but that they would do the scan and then the dentist would call me and we could talk about next steps. They did the scan and then no one ever called me again..... it was super weird. Anyway, it worked out I guess because my insurance changed (again) and they don't accept the new policy anyway. I think this practice is probably usually on top of things, maybe I just had an unusual experience, so I wouldn't hesitate coming here for your regular dental needs. read more

Came here for a regular cleaning. I had to fill out paperwork since I'm a new patient and that took a few minutes. The office is located in a complex with other offices and it's neat that they have an outdoor bathroom with a code to get in. Though I had to wait a while for my appointment (a good 30 minutes), the dental hygienist Narmin was friendly and chatty as she took my X-rays and cleaned my teeth. Love that she hooked up Netflix on the screen so I could watch some Gilmore Girls as I laid there. It didn't feel like it took long, probably since I was distracted, but it was a thorough cleaning. After she finished, Dr. Nadia came to check on things and make sure my teeth were in order. She was professional and made sure to explain things clearly. I had questions about a few things and she answered them all. I am appreciative that they have late hours during the week so that I could schedule my appointment after work, very convenient! read more

I was having tooth pain and went to An amazing smile and was told I needed a root canal. Thank God I got a second opinion. My dentist discovered I had TMJ causing the pain. They had me convinced the root canal was the issue. Today I went for a cleaning. Originally I was advised my insurance would cover it. The doctor was nice to waive the xray fee. However, I was told I have to pay for the cleaning. When I asked for the price, an exact price couldnt be given. Teird pricing? What ? Went back to my dentist and paid one price. I will not recommend this place for one sole reason, I came in yesterday and asked multiple times for them to make sure my insurance is valid, they assured me that it was. Well I decided to get a second opinion instead of going with the two session deep cleaning and two fillings, I am glad I did because the second On Call dental down the road told me my insurance in fact is not valid for three more months and I would have put myself over 1000$ in debt. Definitely make sure your insurance is good because they make you sign multiple pages saying you'll pay if it isn't. Also they will tell you you need to get work done you indeed do not. read more

My boyfriend had not been to the dentist for a long time, and so I recommended this office, having had great experiences here in the past myself. My first experience, Dr. Zena fixed a cavity on one of my front teeth and it looks PERFECT! My second experience, I had a cleaning by the amazing and talented hygienist, Tammy, who literally made my teeth feel super clean and she did her job amazingly and there was zero pain! I normally have sensitive teeth and gums, so that matters a lot to me! Anyway. I sent my boyfriend here and as I suspected, he had a few cavities, and we wanted to get as much done as possible before he had to ship out for six months. What happened next only cemented that this is the ONLY dentist I will EVER go to, or refer anyone I know to go see. Not only did they fix two big cavities for his first visit, but they even fit him in the following Monday (we came on a Saturday) and they fixed almost all the rest of his issues! Even he said they were experts, and while he gets very anxious about going, he felt super comfortable knowing his teeth were in the care of Dr. Zena's capable and talented hands! 10/10 would recommend! Omg the customer service I receive here is amazing!!! The staff goes above and beyond in everything! Especially the Hygienist Justyne who is so nice and sweet. Going into my first appt I was so scared and nervous due to bad experiences in the past but she was helped me get over my fear. The dental assistants Karen and Denise are great helping out Dr. Zena and Dr. Schneider. They made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. I definitely recommend going to this dentist office. Nice dentist- very good and pleasant to visit. Office staff has terrible commutation. Over charged me a different rate then what was quoted and when I questioned it their response was "we would just prefer you pay more and if it's extra then you'll get a credit later. But no refunds" The office staff gave different information than the dentist and hygienist every time I made an appointment. Never know what to expect until I get there because communication is poor and you never know if the person giving you information is accurate. read more

Really liked this place when I started going to them I believe a year ago they were super professional super polite and helpful and then over the last year or so they've rapidly declined. they're always messing up my appointments to where I can't make them because they have no recollection of my original schedule time even though they've left multiple voicemails multiple text messages confirming. I know what time I scheduled it for when I call in or do it in person and then they blame it on their system telling me that that's not the time I actually scheduled for. the new lady who does teeth didn't really clean my teeth they still felt gross when I was done. I still have glue on my teeth from my Invisalign even after having them retake more off they still left a bunch. Every time they clean or do something water is being sprayed in my face or glasses aren't provided. They just seem to be rushed and unprofessional. Will be finding a new place to go. Which is sad because I truly enjoyed going here till I didn't. Use to refer them and will never again. read more

Fake reviews. The dentist and hygienist will ask you to do some service you don't really need and may be dishonest about your teeth condition. They told me I have three cavities but the dentist in another clinic told me I have no cavity at all. They asked me to do deep cleaning but I just did deep cleaning 2 year ago and the dentist in other clinic said I don't need to do it cause my teeth is very clean. They really try best to fool you and make the money out of you. Ask other dentists to get a second opinion, don't let them fool you! read more

I have not had the best experiences with Dentist for the last decade. So I hadn't had the highest expectations when I recently changed over to An Amazing Smile. Boy am I glad to say they completely changed my view of what a dentist visit experience could be. The whole office is pleasant with great customer service. The communication on service they provide is top notch, and they also print out their prices so you know what to expect. Easy to use text reminders, and awesome T.V.'s with NETFLIX they can put right in front of you while you getting worked on. It makes the time fly by! My husband and I both had confirmed appointments for 10 am. I know this because it was expressly discussed with the receptionist when I first made the appointment as my husband and I only had one day that we could schedule our appointment prior to leaving town for a wedding. We had one day and only one time block that would work for us and I wanted to make sure this time could be accommodated prior to purchasing a Groupon for the service. I confirmed this time would be available for both of our appointments and purchased the Groupon. I received a call the day before the appointment to confirm our time of 9 AM and 10 AM. I did not think that was the time I scheduled, so I checked my calendar and confirmed that we were both scheduled at 10. I called the receptionist back within 3 minutes of her calling and confirmed that we were not scheduled at 9am and that both appointments were at 10. She confirmed. On the day of the appointment, we arrived 10 minutes early to fill out the required paperwork and I was seen around 10:15 and the tech started on my x-rays (many of which could not be completed because of an error with the machine). Around 10:40, I was in the middle of the cleaning and the receptionist came in to ask the dental hygienist if she could do my husband's x-rays. This mean that at 10:40, my husband had not been seen. I asked the hygienist if she was the only one that did the cleanings and she said yes. I was furious as it meant that my husband wouldn't even be seen for his cleaning and x-ray until I was out of the chair and we were going to be late to our next appointment. She finished around 10:50 and I was able to check my phone. Sure enough my husband sent me a text at 10:43 saying he had not been taken back yet. At 10:55 the dentist came in. The dentist apologized for any confusion or misunderstanding of the appointment time and I told her we were very upset as the timing of the appointment on this specific day was critical for us and we never would have scheduled if they could not accommodate both of our appointments at the same time. She said my husband was in the room getting his x-rays and would be finished shortly and she offered an additional fluoride treatment to make up for the delay. Knowing my husband, I knew he would not want it. I went up to the front desk and waited for the receptionist. I later found out that it was the receptionist that did my husband's x-rays and he never even had his teeth cleaned. We had an appointment at 12 and we had to leave the dentist's office by 11:25 at the latest in order to get there on time. My husband came out of the room around 11:20 and said that he was given a basic exam and x-rays only. The dentist did offer to do the cleaning herself but it was already late and we didn't have time to wait around for another 30 minute cleaning. The receptionist stated that she thought we were ok with me coming in at 10 and my husband coming in at 11 and I said that was NEVER the agreed to appointment time. She also said they were short staffed on Monday and they have two hygienists during other times during the week. I explained (as I did on the phone when I originally made the appointment) that this particular day and time was the only day that would work for us in the next month. Unfortunately, only one of us were able to get our teeth cleaned prior to the wedding we will be attending. After this experience, I would not recommend this business. read more

The worst experience that I ever had with a dentist was in this place. They a clean place, but when they are doing the x-ray that was really bad experience. They just put a thing around your mouth and they start moving it. I was there for a cleaning but because I was insured they ask to do the xray and review. They never did the cleaning because I first needs to fix some of my teeth. My appointment was at 10 and they don't care, I waited until 10:40 to start my consultation. After the consultation, I waited for another 15 minutes just for someone else to come and show me a quote of the work that I need. The quote was overpriced (I actually know because I compared with other dentist) and it was showing my "insurance cost", and I asked if this is accurate and they just said that anything that is not covered can be paid with their payment plan that I just need to sign. If you read the terms it clearly show that they are not responsible of the actual cost that the insurance will cover, because of that I ask again so here is showing that the numbers might not be accurate and they just respond that I will need to review with my insurance company to see the coverage but that I can do it later that I just need to sign to schedule the next appointment. I politely refuse to sign anything until I verify the numbers with my insurance. When I call the insurance and having the service codes, as you can guess 90% of them where incorrect and the price was almost the triple that they quote me, the price was more near to the public price than my fake "insurance price". A big warning for me and I never returned to this place. read more

DON'T DO IT. I went here on a Groupon two years ago for a cleaning and x-rays because I didn't have insurance and couldn't afford the dentist. The dentist here told me I had four cavities that needed immediate attention. I found this odd, since I have never had cavities before. She gave me an estimate on the costs for the fillings and it was ~$700! I told them I wanted to go elsewhere because that was too expensive and requested a copy of my x-rays. They told me they would e-mail me my x-rays. I then gave them my e-mail and they told me they sent it out. I even checked my junk folder and certainly didn't receive an e-mail!!! Fast forward to today: I now have insurance and was able to go to a real dentist. I told the dentist that I knew I had cavities and they needed to be filled. After looking at x-rays, the dentist insisted that I had no cavities. He even went the extra mile to check the areas that the An Amazing Smile dentist said I had cavities in, and there was nothing. The one "cavity" I really thought I had was just a stain. I ALMOST GOT SCAMMED! I'm so glad I only wasted $30 and over an hour of my time at this place. read more

I went to text my husband to ask him a question and my phone died. The receptionist was so kind as to give me her charger for a few minutes so I can leave with a charged phone.
