Dr. Chheda is fantastic - compassionate, kind, extremely intelligent, sharp (can connect the dots…read morelike you wouldn't believe on complex medical conditions) and good-humored. She is humble and she is all about her patients. She is not out there trying to be famous and build her brand (like many doctors in her space, who have this type of rare expertise) but instead focuses on treating her patients. She is generous with her time and care. She responds to emails (even sometimes when on vacation - which of course I don't think she should do since she needs her rest too!) and communicates quickly and thoroughly. She is always on the cutting edge of new treatments and stays up to date on the research. Even though she is trained in Western medicine, she somehow has vast knowledge in a lot of integrative/functional/holistic treatments. She keeps an open mind, treats the whole person and has a dialogue with you. She doesn't give orders and write scripts and send you on your way. She actually checks in to see if you are willing to go through a treatment, how you feel about it, etc - knowing that compliance with treatment is often challenging and painful. You feel like she is your partner - which is how all people should feel about their doctors! Especially when managing a chronic and complex disease or condition. I have spent extraordinary amounts of time, money, and energy trying to feel well. Unfortunately, I am an expert at being a patient so I know what I'm talking about here. Dr. Chheda has helped me find answers when no one could. For the record, I have moderate scoliosis (40% curvature with neurological complications) and other very painful spine degeneration issues, multiple autoimmune diseases, occipital neuralgia and a history of migraines - and likely as we are discovering together I may have POTS/MCAS/dysautonomia. She has helped me to figure out some common denominators to my multiple issues. I admire how her mind works - constantly thinking outside the box trying connect things that appear disparate on the surface but are actually related. For reasons too detailed to get in here, I don't think her clinic can take standard insurance plans. But if you can afford it, I would highly recommend her. She is incredible!! I owe her so much.

Adina is an amazing therapist and is really great at asking the right questions to help me identify my thought patterns and where they came from. She listens with compassion and empathy. I came to her with a dismissive attitude towards myself and my own emotional well-being, but she was able to help me understand that I deserve love and that my feelings deserve to be heard. She is also incredibly knowledgeable in her field, and I ended up learning quite a bit about psychology just from our conversations about how my mind worked. I ended almost every session feeling inspired and having learned a little bit more about myself. Working with Adina is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking therapy or support during difficult times.

After finally ridding myself of PAMF in January of 2013 and finding a new doctor in a private…read morepractice, I had a life changing, for the better, experience. My new doctor (within the first visit), listened to all my medical issues, which had been going on for years and had been heavily disclosed for years to Dr. Weirich and other PAMF doctors, and quickly new something was seriously, seriously, wrong based on my symptoms. Long story short, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and had to make some serious life changes in how I eat and how I live, but those changes have probably saved my life and have made me healthier than ever. I am not going to get into my personal health issues, but will say that almost every problem I had while seeing Dr. Weirich and PAMF doctors has now been resolved a year after being properly diagnosed and I feel better than I have in the last 5 years. Now that I am healthy I think about the damage my body has suffered for years of bad medical care and hope that it does not cause me to suffer more later or even die young, but am thankful I finally have a good doctor. I have asked around over the last year about how a doctor could have possibly missed what was going on with me and have received responses ranging from "blatant mal-practice" to "clearly not a trained or up-to-date physician." Either way, not good. What I have learned is that you need to trust your gut and if you know something is wrong with you and you are getting the run-around or not getting answers, get a second or third opinion, don't settle, this is your life! Just like any profession, you have people who are great at their jobs and those that are not, and it is not always easy to tell, but if your body is telling you something, don't just take someone's word for it. Just because someone went to medical school (even a good one) doesn't mean they know what they are doing or are good, trust yourself and your family, like I did! I am now focused on staying healthy and spending as much time with my family as possible and hope to put this horrible time in my life where I was not getting proper care behind me. My review below shows my clear frustration that my very significant health issues were being ignored or just assumed to be minor. It is disgraceful that some doctors will do this to patients for whatever reason.

REVIEW- Dr. Richard Adrouny:…read more I rarely leave reviews like this, but I believe patients deserve to hear about my experience under the care of Dr. Richard Adrouny during treatment for B-cell lymphoma and Waldenström macroglobulinemia. My chemotherapy regimen included Rituximab, Cytoxan, Doxorubicin, Prednisone, Polatuzumab (Polivy), and Fulphila injections. Throughout treatment, I repeatedly reported serious and worsening symptoms to Dr. Adrouny's office, including persistent daily coughing, increasing weakness, progressive numbness in my feet, inflammation, and mobility problems. These symptoms continued to worsen over time. I was directed to the emergency department multiple times, where I spent hours waiting without meaningful answers or resolution. Despite ongoing neurological symptoms, I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously or aggressively investigated. Eventually, another physician later discontinued Polivy at Enloe Hospital. By that point, I had developed significant loss of sensation in my feet that continues today and affects my mobility and ability to drive. Additional concerns from my experience included: * Delayed follow-up regarding neurological symptoms * PET imaging not initially scheduled after chemotherapy cycle #6 until I personally raised the issue * Lack of timely coordination regarding referrals and follow-up care * Repeated symptom reports that I felt were minimized rather than fully investigated * Concerns regarding management of Fulphila side effects and inflammation symptoms I also attempted to address these concerns directly through Enloe Health's administration and patient experience department. Despite multiple conversations and emails requesting assistance and transfer of care, I did not feel meaningful action was taken. At one point, after asking questions regarding my treatment and complications, I was told I could seek care elsewhere. I am now pursuing transfer of care to another cancer center. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage patients to: * Keep detailed records of symptoms and communications * Ask specifically how chemotherapy side effects will be monitored * Request clarification about imaging schedules and follow-up plans * Seek second opinions early if symptoms continue worsening This review reflects my personal experience and documented interactions during treatment.

Though he is researching a few specific treatments at a time, he has always been very receptive if I want to try a different approach or course of therapy. He and his staff are very compassionate and caring. He is also understanding of patient's limitations. I am an uninsured patient. I had been tested for every possible pathogen within the past few years (while insured). Dr. K has been great about not ordering unnecessary tests that would be difficult for me to afford. He also worked with a drug manufacturer's patient assistance program so I could be treated with a medicine I wouldn't otherwise be able to afford. I travel from out of town to see Dr. K. The staff are always very accommodating. On one visit I arrived two hours before my scheduled appointment time. I was completely wiped out by the travel. The nurse set me up in a quite room with a recliner, pillow and blanket to rest, then arranged for the doctor to see me earlier then my scheduled time. Being a research center as well as a clinical practice, it is a busy place. The practice has become much more efficient and organized over the past year. Dr. K encourages patients to email him with questions and concerns between visits, and he and the nurses are wonderful about getting back to you in a timely manner. Seeing a top researcher is very different than seeing your primary care physician. They are treating very seriously ill patients who often times have been sick for many years. Of the handful of specialists in this field, many have multiple year waiting lists. Some are known to hand pick the patients they want to treat. Others will only look for what ever pathogen they specialize in or prescribe the drugs they are studying. Dr. Kogelnik doesn't operate that way. His fees are in line with what other top researchers in this field charge and he is truly committed to helping his patients on their journey to optimal health.
