Shes direct and to the point, which I find refreshing. Her staff is great and the office is lovely. I've gone to several doctors and can say I highly recommend her.

Update: After I challenged the billing and posted this review, Avita MD terminated me as a patient…read moreacross the entire practice. The letter was signed by Dr. Sitnitsky herself. Instead of resolving the billing concerns I raised, they ended the patient relationship. Original review: I had a terrible experience with Dr. Patricia Sitnitsky at Avita MD. I went in for a routine annual physical and left with a mess of medical orders, unexpected costs, and more appointments. She was rude and controlling. She barely listened to me and even called my existing treatment plan stupid. That plan had been established by another doctor at the same clinic. She also made generalizations about health problems among people of my ethnic background. I found those comments offensive and inappropriate. Her assistant suddenly approached me with a razor to remove body hair for a procedure without explaining what was about to happen or preparing me. I also felt pressured to get vaccinated. What did I actually get from this annual physical? My visit summary mainly lists basic measurements, new orders, and recommendations. It provides no clear overall assessment of my health or detailed explanation of the examination. Instead, I received numerous new prescriptions, tests, referrals, and recommendations for additional appointments. Nobody clearly explained why so much was necessary or what it might cost. I also discovered that Avita MD billed my insurance for both an annual physical and a separate medical exam during the same appointment. I had scheduled only an annual physical and was never informed about a separate billable visit, I asked her assistant clearly and she said it will be one bill. A review from 2021 reported that Dr. Sitnitsky even back then did the same practice: billing twice for a single physical silently. This is not a mistake, this is a practice. This is a way to milk your insurance for money and many patients will not even notice this. The medical equipment situation was even worse. I was told I might receive a free device. Instead, I discovered three different monitoring products through CVS and another supplier. My insurance shows a processed 90-day prescription for nine sensors costing $1,082.87, with $100 assigned to me. CVS also sent me a pickup notification for around $200. Why were multiple devices ordered when we had only discussed a free one? Why was an expensive 90-day prescription processed without clearly explaining the costs? Since that visit, I have been dealing with pharmacy notifications, supplier calls, insurance claims, and cancellation requests. When I contacted my regular doctor at the same clinic for clarification, I was asked to schedule yet another follow-up appointment. It feels like every question leads to another appointment, another test, or another order. The sheer number of orders and follow-ups makes me question whether this clinic is more interested in generating business than addressing patients' concerns. I went in for an annual physical. I expected to be examined, listened to, and given a clear understanding of my health. Instead, I have spent days trying to untangle the consequences of one visit. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Dr. Sitnitsky and Avita MD. I have also found many other 1-star reviews describing very similar billing problems. My experience was clearly not isolated. Given that pattern, some of the overwhelmingly positive reviews also look suspicious to me and make me question how representative the overall rating really is.

I have a PPO and was concerned I would be paying my deductible since a meet and greet is not considered preventative medicine. She then states she doesn't have to charge my insurance and I can pay $150. Horrible, will not go back. I had to take time off work to spend a few min telling her my history and walk out w nothing except a medical bill.

And it worked! I appreciate the fact that she genuinely listens to any concerns I have and advices accordingly. The wait time on her online booking tool is usually around 2 weeks, but I have been able to get appointments earlier by calling the practice. Her staff is also very efficient in getting people in & out seamlessly. Overall, I will definitely recommend adding Dr. Maddineni to your care team!

I usually dread visits to the Dr., but Dr. Rosenberg made me feel comfortable -- she commented appropriately, was easy to talk to, and made me feel like I was the only person she was seeing that day. Good to note: She took notes on a computer while talking to me, but before she did so, she told me why and said that if it really bothered me, she could take notes by hand instead. I didn't even notice it after 5 minutes. Please also note that Dr. Rosenberg does not submit directly to insurance companies, so you'll have to fill out your own paperwork and submit it yourself. If you're looking for an excellent primary care physician in the Bay Area, Dr. Bonnie Rosenberg is your woman.
