    I want to begin by saying I run a successful business that is well known in the Boston area. I was…read morenominated as the Boston Celtics' "Small Business of the Game" and my whole career has been based on "customer service." I also worked at the front desk of a hotel for two years while I attended Wellesley College and after that I worked as a paralegal at prominent firms in Boston before starting my business. I *deeply* understand customer service, professionalism, and the weight of negative Yelp reviews which is why I have quite literally never written one. I originally wrote a negative review (and it was the first negative review I have ever written on Yelp) because I had a negative experience with one of the front desk agents at first. But one of the things I also understand working in customer service is that if you give a business the feedback they need to make changes and to "make things right" and they are receptive to that feedback, a business should not be judged because of a one off experience. I was able to communicate my issues and I am updating my review to reflect that the hotel handled my feedback professionally and for that I am very grateful.

You still get the quality, comfort, and reliability of Hilton while also getting a hotel that actually has personality and charm that reflects the area instead of feeling like a generic chain. The decor is incredible. So much cool nostalgic artwork, bright pops of color, music references, and fun themed touches like old-school phone booths and a vintage motorcycle display. It feels lively, stylish, and upbeat while still being relaxed and comfortable. The music, lighting, and overall atmosphere instantly put you in a good mood. I got one of the newly renovated rooms which was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed was great and I slept really well. The gym is simple but completely serviceable. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The location is also excellent. It is very easy to access from the freeway and it is close to great food, shopping, and anything else you might need. Overall this is a hotel that is actually enjoyable to stay in. Clean, comfortable, full of character, and just fun to be in. I loved it and would absolutely stay here again.

    Horrible service and appalling management. Between AMC Dine In and MacGuffins Bar all I can say is…read morethat I have been disappointed multiple times and I have been going to this theater since I was a child. First of all, everything is way overpriced for what you could get at a fast food restaurant (not suprising from a movie theater I know). But also, they are constantly understaffed and the servers end up with multiple theaters to wait on at the same time. The poor service is understandable with the stress of having to take orders, run drinks, run food, and making sure checks are dropped off and paid for before guests get mad and leave. What is REALLY aggravating is the fact that the management is severely lacking in their commitment to properly perform their job obligations! They are rude to customers and treat their employees extremely poorly. All of the servers seem to be stressed out and I have never seen a manager help to run food or drop off checks to help them out. As someone with lots of experience in restaurant service and management, I can honestly say that this place is being very poorly run. If a server is overwhelmed with guests and there is no other servers to help, it is the job of a Manager to step in and ease the load by taking some tables themselves until things calm down. Obviously, a large company like AMC is not concerned with customer satisfaction regarding their new Dine In. They make enough money on the movies to care about that.
