On top of charging a 35 cent fee for a card, they did that after also refusing to accept a 10 dollar bill with a small tear in it. Which is very illegal! "The bank won't take it" bullshit! They literally legally have to exchange bills that are torn in half for new ones! And this was maybe a 10 millimeter tear in the edge of it, and then the 35 cent fee!?!? Beware! Inserted my debit card into pump, entered pin, then received a message that the transaction was denied. Tried two more times, each time same message. Thought maybe something wrong with the card, so paid $40 in cash and filled the tank. Got home to find that they hard hit my debit card for $100.33, $100.25, and $100.37 and all were withdrawn from my bank. I called my bank to dispute, they told me I had to go to Arco and ask them to reverse. The manager/owner said that its not possible that that bank of america would even allow that, and i should work through B of A. I disputed the charge, they credited my account until they could investigate, but now they are taking back the money. Arco responded that it was through an automated pump (correct) and that the gas was dispensed. (incorrect) So Bank of America is now charging me over $300 for gas pumped at one station within a 5 minute timeframe. Nobody cares that I have a 16 gallon tank and even at $4 per gallon, the most I could have put in my tank would have been $64. So its IMPOSSIBLE to pump $100 once, let alone three times. This is complete BS and our family of 4 will NEVER use this station again. This is outright theft!!! read more

Visited here a few times as this is prob the closest one to my place. A little freaky, but I generally come here at night. Not as big as other Arco locations, but hey it works. One way directions so enter on the east side of the station. The movie theaters are right across the street and restaurant row is just a block east of this place. Pretty convenient, esp if you're in the area and in need of gas. read more

I picked up my son from work and headed to this place for an Icee because it was HOT! My son wanted to try a flavor before filling an entire cup...it was nasty...he didn't know to rinse the cup and before I could catch him, he threw it in the trash. The owner saw him and scolded him (he's 16). I said I would pay for the cup but this man just went on and on and on and on...and then yelled in his native language from the back of the store to make sure the woman (I'm thinking his wife) at the front of the store knew exactly what had happened... I like going to AM/PM because their gas prices are cheaper than others but if you don't have cash with you, it defeats the purpose, since they charge you $0.45 to use your card. I know that doesn't sound much but you might as well go to a Shell or Mobil to get your gas if the price ends up being the same after you use your card. I always make a stop to buy candy while my car is refilling up with gas. I love how they advertise a credit card where they would REMOVE the $0.45 automatically if you use THEIR credit card. The owner behind the counter was at the cashier and took my funds for fuel. I barely had enough for one gallon as their gas per gallon is over $4.00, I reached over for the penny tray for share, (which comes from other customers) and he practically slapped my hand and told me I can not have it. I said that is what is there for and he said no and I said why are you going to take it for yourself. He said it is for purchasers and I said I am a purchaser and it is not your money. What bother me the most is I be fueling my vehicle there for over twenty years and he did not want to share what did not even belong to him. He seen how much I had. And to touch me and if I was his child especially during COVID. I will pass the gas station even if I drive by it. PLEASE BE AWARE WHEN PAYING INSIDE!!! Yesterday I went in to the station to pay for my gas because my MC was not being accepted at the machine outside. I ask the attendant for $15 gas and paid via my MC. To my surprise after I left the station I get a email alert from my MC stating a $100 charge was made on my MC! Thank God it was denied. Make sure if you need to pay with your debt/cc to get a receipt to see how much that attendant charge your card. I didn't get a receipt so I was stupid but I did know how much my limit was on my MC. After that I decided its not worth crooks like that to take my hard earn money for their greedy self. I will start getting my gas at Cheveron or Shell which are reputable gas stations. If you want to go into a store and be ignored, walked away from, and treated like dirt by someone that doesn't even speak English this is the place for you. I went to this gas station to get something free that I went on Scratch Power and the person working, name was surrender, said it wasn't working and too bad. When I walked into the store he was walking away for me and I kept calling him and he kept walking away. He could barely speak English. I asked him if he owns a gas station because I couldn't believe that anybody would employ someone who is so rude. Charge for ice in own cup? Extremely hot. Put gas in truck. Ask if I could get some ice in own cup. They wanted to charge me for the ice and then charge tax on top if that. I said you gave got to be kidding me. She wouldn't even look at me. Needed to also use restroom. I didn't. Thought they night charger me for that also. In the future I will not go to this station even if their gas may be a little bit cheaper. I will spread the world to everyone I know about this situation. I never ever have written a review on any store before, especially a negative one, but I just have to share my experience because it was absolutely horrible and appalling. I came to this gas station 2 days ago, went inside and used my DasherDirect pre paid card to put 20 in my tank, I look on the reader and it says approved so I say thank you and I leave. When I try to use the pump I realized the pump wasn't turning on, as it should be no big deal these things happen, I went inside to inform the man working there with a very polite tone about my issue and that I simply needed some help. Now this is the part where he blatantly starts yelling at me to leave and get out out of nowhere. I was genuinely so confused as to why he just started raising his voice at me, I did not get his name but he was an older Indian guy (I think indian doesn't really matter just for the effort of a description because I didn't catch his name) and so there I am trying to get some help from this employee, and he's just yelling that my card is not working and to get out. There was absolutely NO REASON for him to have escalated the situation by also coming around from the counter and continued to raise his voice. He hadn't even put any effort in trying to understand my issue or starting with communicating with me, he was super rude, disrespectful, and COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! The best for cheap gas. I love their chocolate chip cookies. I come here quite often for well-priced gasoline and my chocolate fix. ONE more thing; they have Arizona's Pina Colada beverage!!! It tastes amazing, and very hard to find elsewhere (some CVS pharmacies have it, that's all I know). Extra brownie points again.
