Today I came in and spent too much time going through my phone and loading and uploading and moving pictures. And in the time I was here, several of the photo employees greeted me and made sure I had everything I needed. They were so friendly, and I felt super relaxed to take my time. I watched one employee talk with a customer in such a gentle way as he was helping her understand what it meant to have a family member upload a picture rather than taking a picture of a picture. It was so kind, and it's just those little acts of kindness that the world needs right now. I could tell the couple really appreciated him. Upon picking up my pictures, unprompted the employee scanned a code that gave me half off. I really appreciated that today. Thankful for this place.

This is not the type of service I normally receive at CVS, which is why the interaction stood out and was particularly disappointing.

It was the kind of place you remembered and looked forward to coming back to. Unfortunately, what I received today was incredibly disappointing. $17 with tax for a sandwich that appeared to have roughly four ounces of meat is simply unacceptable. Just look at the picture the amount of meat speaks for itself. I understand that food costs, labor, and operating expenses have increased over the years. I would much rather see a business raise its price and maintain the quality and portions that built its reputation than charge premium prices while dramatically reducing what the customer receives. Longtime customers remember what Alkobar used to serve, and that is what makes this particularly disappointing. Businesses build loyalty through quality, consistency, and value. When those things disappear, unfortunately, so does the loyalty. After this experience, I will not be returning. I sincerely hope management takes customer feedback seriously and remembers what made Alkobar successful in the first place.
