You're always going to get amazing customer service anytime you walk into a Trader Joe's. This location is no exception. Right from the entrance, your gretted with a friendly smile from everyone. Normally it's someone who's at the cash register as they're the one closest to the entrance. That's alway a nice way to enter a store knowing that you're welcomed. They alway have everything i normally come for. Floral is always amazing. The last time i was here I picked up a couple of bundles of roses and other flowers. The cashier noticed that a few of the spray roses were broken which does happen with people picking them up and looking. Grabbing it by different hands so it's bound to be bruised and broken here and there. He rang the bell and someone came over to see if there's anymore in the back. Even brought a box out to see if I wanted to exchange them. Can we say amazing customer service taking care of their customers. Also walking down the aisle, if anyone is working restocking the shelves and you have a question. They are ready to stop what they're doing and help you look for something or check in the back. I had that happened today when I had asked regarding one of their seasonal items that just launched. He walk over when he had a chance after checking me out to look for it incase I had missed it. That's above and beyond amazing service. Everyone is alway amazing and the sweetest. Also they got the new batch of totes available with a limit of 2. Absolutely a fan of this TJs, helps to be one of very few in the CV, La Quinta and Palm Desert being the others. If you're in need of any Trader Joe's thing, then you must stop in at this one in Cathedral City. Located off Palm Canyon in the shopping center with Target, El Pollo Loco and lots of familiar spots, but next door to Boomers - National Amusement Center which keeps this parking lot extra lit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The layout is pretty easy and classic to the ways of Traders locations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm usually only in town for a weekend here or there and when coming up to visit friends and or/stay this is one of my main go to places for snacks, small groceries, and wine. The service here is great and even when it's very busy I still feel like everything runs so smoothly. Awesome produce, nuts, hummus, dips, chips and veggie friendly finds. Impossible nuggets in the frozen section? Yes, please! A bottle of French rosé... It's a yah! Good prices and quality everything. Whether your local, passing through as a traveler or just visiting. This Trader Joe's will be good to you. And yes like any places they may run low or out of popular items or even discontinue things, however you'll be surprised when you discover new ones. *Stuck in the Middle* Not too many places I can say that my life wouldn't be the same without it. But this is where Trader Joe's fits into my life. Luckily for me, nearly the past 2 years, I've been right smack in the middle of two amazing Trader Joe's locations, not too far from home -- this one and Palm Desert. This is a good problem to have because both locations are equipped with incredible team members who are always so friendly and helpful...and go above & beyond. And the customers here are friendly too. They're also equipped with the handfuls of items I rely on, that's usually in stock...but if not, they always offer to let me "know when it'll be in stock" or "keep it on hold" for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tho I prefer the layout at other locations, this one suits me well and the store is always neat & clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Never a problem with parking here no matter how busy they are. Trader Joe's is one of the most reliable and dependable chains you can find, consistently ranging from very similar to identical, no matter where one might be. It's not a place I go to for all of my everyday shopping, but there are several key items which always draw me back. Some of the frozen selections are quite unique, like the Taiwanese street pancake knockoffs, and some of the seasonal items are only to be found at TJ's, like the boxed turkey gravy, with a very long home shelf life, excellent in flavor and texture, but only available around Thanksgiving. The pastas are excellent and in a nice size for a couple, and we especially like the many varieties of raviolis. The produce is consistently fresh and well packaged and the cereal selection is delicious. Cheeses are bountiful and we particularly appreciate the thin sliced chicken breast, saving us from the need to butterfly and pound a larger breast. The only reason I am giving the Cathedral City store a four, and this is something which bedevils one at many other Trader Joe's, is the difficulty in parking, with an insufficient number of handicapped spaces. read more

I did used to visit TJs weekly, until they stopped selling their two ingredient soy milk. Most of their foods, even those you think may be "healthy" are far from healthy and super processed with a lot of oils and sugars and so much of their produce is packaged in plastic. read more

Mynfavorite being the dark potato chips, and Carolina Gold are soo good, but not available all year. Holidays are fun because they bring in holiday specials, like pecan pie and gingerbread houses. I always love Trader Joe's. This store had everything I needed. We don't have any Trader Joe's in hawaii so always have lots of requests to bring back stuff. This time I got an ABNB with a kitchen so was able to take advantage of trying the frozen prepared foods. The Bulgogi was very yummy and for $4 can't beat that price. Also tried the Smog City Grape IPA which was surprisingly tasty and refreshing. The staff were all super friendly. Recommend this location to get all you grocery and snacks. read more

Love me a Trader Joe's and I am always so happy when there is one in a location where I'm vacationing. Takes the guess work out of what to stock up on. Visited the Palm Cannon Road location over Thanksgiving and they already had many of the classic and in demand holiday items. I was so wishing I could buy enough to being home but I travel with a tiny suitcase! That didn't stop me from buying lots of great products for our nightly appetizer boards. My favorite cheese is Delice de Bourgogne, a French classic triple crème that is so decadent and delicious, and the price at Traders is better than anywhere. My 2nd fave is the Stilton with apricots or ginger. The perfect combo. To round out the charcuterie, picked up packages of pre-sliced Italian meats, prosciutto, cashews, fig spread, castelvetrano olives, figs, dried apricots and the fig & olive crisps. Perfect! Of course we needed some "treats" too!for dessert we picked up the chocolate pecan tart. It's fabulous! Try it! Instead of the super sweet molasses filling of a pecan pie, this version has a dense chocolate custard in a shortbread crust with pecans on top. I like it so much better. Lots of my favorite holiday treats and gift items were in stock - 12 tastes of caramel, passport chocolates, peppermint Joe-Joe's, gingerbread cookies that hang on your mug - but I will wait until I'm home to do a full grocery run. During Covid, they have implemented lots of procedures to keep everyone safe. The line to get into the store moves quickly and limiting the number of people in the store means you get in and out faster. They are providing hand sanitizer and wipes for the carts, they bag your groceries, everyone is wearing masks, staff and customers. And most important, the staff is super friendly and helpful; amazing they keep their spirits up through the pandemic and holiday shopping. Well, done! read more

When at home, Trader Joe's is our supplemental grocery store for unique items or to make up shortages between supermarket runs. On the vacation, Trader Joes means some meal supplies and snacks. On business, it's stuff to munch on in a nearby hotel room. This Trader Joe's is a bit on the small side and during the 2-3 times we were here recently, you really needed to keep watch on various shopper carts darting here and there. As expected, Trader Joe's staff were friendly, helpful, and took the sometimes scrum in stride. Love this Trader Joe's with so many items that cannot be found at our local store. Yes, I took pictures of the food selections we do not have, as I couldn't buy and try them all. We stocked up for a week in Palm Springs with fresh organic veggies, mushroom brie, and those insanely delicious gnocci that were discontinued at my store. It's also large enough that employees are not constantly blocking the aisles to restock, and there is actually open space for carts when waiting in line to check out. You can also reach the store by driving in the side road past the go-kart racing and get to the large parking lot! read more

I love everything about this grocery store. There are always new foodie and personal hygiene surprises. Hello rose water toner that my husband swears by. Their cheeses are extraordinary. I think my favorite was a garlic white cheddar infused with champagne? Just yum. The employees are always so helpful and friendly and knowledgeable about what is and isn't in stock. They don't have to go around searching leaving you shifting and waiting in the same spot so they can find you when they figure out the answer. Frozen mashed potatoes? (don't judge) Nope, they've been out of stock for a week. They should be back in two. Boom. Answers. I love it. Also, had to add. I bought a bouquet of roses that lasted a little over three weeks before they started wilting. I've never had that. So all in all, great selection, great people and great layout. It was both a surprise and a pleasure last month to find that my favorite store in the universe was also the first in the area that I know of to switch to an honor system as regards customers wearing masks. When I was there yesterday nearly everyone was still opting to wear them, but how nice that those who no longer need them have a place to go where they can breathe freely while they shop. I also love that they are gradually but continually adding chocolate products that contain 72% or more cacao - that's the healthiest kind. TJ's has always been chocolate heaven but I used to have to keep my blinders on and regretfully walk past all those silky Belgian varieties. No one has to be deprived these days though, unless allergic. They also sell excellent cacao powder which costs about half what you'd pay for the same quality at health food stores and, usually, even online. read more

Decent Trader Joes. This TJ's is much smaller then the stores you may find in LA or OC, but they have most of the good stuff we go to TJ's for. Staff are ultra friendly and double helpful. The store is well stocked, and clean, but rather cramped. It shares a parking lot with a Target, a kids theme park, and some fast food joints. Not the upscale location one might expect from TJ's. You are not going to stroll next door for a coffee or anything. But on the bright side, there are acres of free parking. Masking was spotty at best. Most staff are masked and most patrons... are not. This is the only TJ's in the Palm Springs area. If you love TJ's like I do, dive in! read more

Trader Joe's has always been my number one place to shop. This particular TJs became my new location when I moved to Palm Springs a few years back. It has always been busy and I really have liked the staff even though so many people have come and gone...some really nice employees remain. I still shop here although it used to be the only place I bought groceries....that has changed with so many items either not available or have changed and with TJs prices really soaring above other stores it has become my second store for some of my regular items that they still have. I shop here at least once every week to stock up on some of my favorite foods. While not the largest store in Coachella Valley they stock what I want most of the time. They have a lot of new people working there that are friendly and helpful. However packing shopping bags (with salad near the bottom) could be improved with more training! Theres ample parking and Target is within walking distance which is a plus. This location can get really crowded during certain prime hours making it a bit claustrophobic for me. read more

Sunday May 4th. After much deliberation, I decided to return two orchid plants that I had bought earlier in the week. Most of the buds had fallen off, which means something happened during transport. I'm a retired Florist of 36 years if it's one thing I know how to take care of its orchid plants. When I brought the two plants into the store, I explained the situation. The manager looked at me and said it looks like you used them for an event. Excuse me! How not only rude and unprofessional, but the fact that I removed them from their crummy ceramic pots and take the little plastic ties off the orchids to put them in my own containers and tie them with Rafia and Moss does not in any way mean that the orchids were used previously and then returned. I was so caught off guard. I was basically speechless. She grabbed the two plants which were in a paper bag and toss them behind her onto the floor and I heard the pots break. She instructed me to get 2 new plants but only after making me feel embarrassed. This woman has no place in management. I fill my house with orchids regularly, living room, dining room, family room, bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen. The fact that she could make such an assumption shows her lack of people skills. This has happened in the past but not to the extreme like the two I returned. read more
