    Fresh flower purchase

I always love shopping at Trader Joe's. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The grocery store is not very large so it's easy to navigate[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], I love the selection of all the different flowers that they offer...as a sidenote, they might have the best peaches I've ever eaten. [[HIGHLIGHT]]it's always busy so that should tell you something[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and always available for people to check out quickly.

So many flower! Get here early or they may be sold out!

I think this has to be one of my favorite Trader Joe's locations in the valley. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tons of parking and a very clean and well kept store.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My interactions with all the associates have always been bright and sunny like Palm Springs. As far as the election goes, they do carry most of your favorites and classics. However, I do wish they have the small individual fruit and cream yogurt for sale like the Palm Desert Location location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, I have been coming here for years now and while it can get busy during peak hours of the afternoon, this is one of those classic stops for when you need a quick dinner idea or a splurge snack at home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

As the cashier was ringing up the dog treats I was buying she asked how many dogs I had. Having just lost my 16 1/2 yr old the day before I broke out in tears. She offered her condolences and all of the sudden another team member came over with a bouquet of flowers and gave them to me. I then cried again for the kindness they showed

Stopped by Trader Joe's to get some spring water, snacks on the way back to the hotel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is bigger and looks newer than our local Trader Joe's.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything was well organized, clean and staff was nice as usual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Came here 2 more times to get snacks and it's only about 8 minutes from our hotel. Will be back to when in Palm Springs area.

Bummer. But no fault of TJ's as they continue to keep their eggs reasonably priced.

*Stuck in the Middle* Not too many places I can say that my life wouldn't be the same without it. But this is where Trader Joe's fits into my life. Luckily for me, nearly the past 2 years, I've been right smack in the middle of two amazing Trader Joe's locations, not too far from home -- this one and Palm Desert. This is a good problem to have because both locations are equipped with incredible team members who are always so friendly and helpful...and go above & beyond. And the customers here are friendly too. They're also equipped with the handfuls of items I rely on, that's usually in stock...but if not, they always offer to let me "know when it'll be in stock" or "keep it on hold" for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tho I prefer the layout at other locations, this one suits me well and the store is always neat & clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Never a problem with parking here no matter how busy they are. When the lines are long they still move fast ~~ even with all the small talk & chit-chatting while checking out. TJ's continues to be the Ace of my grocery store starting rotation. Not much more I can say about TJ's that hasn't already from everyone who loves this place. I've been shopping at various TJ's ever since my late teens...and as I've already expressed & confessed, my life wouldn't be the same without it. {{{Big~High~Five}}} Walk-off Grandslam... I love TJ and found my way here to pick up some staples from here while on a week long visit to the area. Wonderful staff...lot of counters open and we were in and out quickly despite it being busy.

scrolling, laughing, talking/ store swamped with customers

for every good employee .... oh , yeah, 'team member ', there are five entitled, rude, untrained, could-care-less , sometimes downright rude, employees. today was the last zucchini. if fragile produce has been sitting on shelf for a week - dispose of it.

I don't know how they pick and choose location to add one compared to the normal. I've only been to the one in Orlando and now this location in the desert. Of course you have to have a massive parking lot to accommodate the loads of shoppers and wanderer's. Three entrances on either end of the store and garden center. There's a fast food place inside, you have the deli section and bakery. Of course the frozen section with quite some nice decent items. It's basically a grocery store on one side of the place. Even a decent isle for the international goods. There's a fairly decent section/department where the alcohol is located. So you have one side that's groceries and the other is basically everything else. Home goods, technology, clothing and so on. There's even a pretty decent size garden center that is pretty massive but it was a little sparse with what they offered. Some patio furniture, mainly soil and the usual pots and some plants. They also have a department for delivery and pickup. It's quite interesting for me...lol... Of course you have the option of self checkout or with someone. Bags are additional fee as we all know. What I didn't understand is, some of the items you would need to pay before hand if you want them. There's the beauty department where you have to leave your basket outside and pay for what you need before returning to it. And some other items in the store where you have to do the same or they can leave it at the customer service counter until you're finished. I had to do that with a measuring tape. We were still shopping and asked if it was ok. The staff seemed a bit annoyed with the request but took it to customer service anyways. Besides that concept, it a pretty good place for your one stop shop.

Finding some things was a little odd, they have an end cap for premade dips that wasn't where it should be. Not being as familiar with this location it turned into an entire experience. The produce and wine, beer and spirits sections being the most functional in terms of organization. The deli, pre-packed goods, bread, baked goods etc area was super limited - expected to find hummus and spreads here like at other locations or pretty much any grocery store in SoCal, but they like to keep you on your toes lol We were able to get help whenever we needed it and reasonable prices as to be expected. The isles are solid though some odd end caps and displays here and there. It's still got that vintage aesthetic with very modern touches I've been noticing at all Staters - mostly on the outer halves of the store. Huge parking lot with shared businesses (including a very nice carwash, fast eats and more), though not quite as big as the other Vista Chino location. Friendly staff, clerks and security make for a nice grocery going experience.

*All Pretty Good at ALDI*…read more I've known about ALDI for years, but there's none on the Westside of LA. I'm fully aware of their history and relationship with Trader Joe's. Love TJ's. But I've never shopped at an ALDI. Finally decided to check out this ALDI, after grabbing a few things at Sprouts next-door. It's not too often there's two major commercial grocery stores located right smack next to each other. The parking lot is huge so there's no issues landing a parking space at this fairly large shopping plaza on the corner of Gene Autry & Ramon in Palm Springs. Inside, ALDI is slightly spacious, clean and the aisles are nice & wide. I walked up & down every aisle...and was very surprised to find 3 things: Organic Hummus for $2.79 Organic Persian Cucumbers. 1lb package of 8 mini cucs for $3.49 The hummus is fantastic. All natural ingredients. Made with olive oil. No seed oils, artificial crap or fake chemical fillers. Bought "the classic" (my fav) and "roasted red pepper" (wifey's fav) She was pleasantly surprised too how great it is. This is now definitely going to be included in our grocery store rotation. The Persian cucumbers are fresh & crisp and perfecto. It's been 4 days since I got them and they're still just as good & ripe, without any soft mushy spots. Usually when I buy these from other stores, they begin to spoil way too quickly. Sorry Trader Joe's. Also picked up a package of Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil. 50sq ft for $4.99. Great low price and quality. A couple things I noticed tho...only one checkout stand was open, and there was a steady flow of customers. 3 people in line ahead of me, with 3 more in back of me. Lots of customers still shopping. During my entire time at the store, spanning 20+ minutes, I did not see one other ALDI team member in the entire store. It was mid afternoon so it's not like it was primetime lunch break. Not sure if this is the norm or a one-off short-handed day? Nonetheless, since I had a little extra time to spare, I was okay with it. This time. Others tho in the store didn't seem too thrilled. I don't blame them. The girl at the checkout stand was very aloof and not welcoming. Seemed robotic...and didn't come across as if she wanted to be there. Acted as tho she was doing us all a favor being there. Most of us even bagged our own groceries in our own bags. I hope she understands and realizes we customers contribute to paying her salary...and if she keeps this up, one day soon an AI robot will take away her job. I hope not because good customer service is very crucial to enhance the chore of grocery shopping. It's one of the reasons I enjoying shopping at all Trader Joe's -- very friendly & welcoming team members. There's another ALDI in Palm Desert. I intend to check it out and compare. I'll be back later with some more constructive feedback ;-)
