Don, the owner, really goes out of his way to make sure you are a happy customer. The employees are all very helpful as well. they really go above and beyond. We looked at Public Storage and was unimpressed. I continued looking and found Brassfield due to its proximity to Duke. I couldn't be happier with the summer storage unit. The units are climate controlled, the 2nd month is free, they offer a moving van to assist in your move at no extra charge, really, really amazing!! The units look new, and the facility is very well maintained. I will continue storing at Brassfiled over the summer for the duration of our daughter's college years. Thank you!!!

On top of all those perks the rates are affordable. Cheaper than Uhaul with more perks. We ended up renting a storage unit that was too small. After business hours the area manager saw us struggling and let us move into a bigger storage unit really close to our old one. He told us he'd hate to see us move our stuff twice and to go by the office the next day to update the contract. He saved us from moving into two storage units. Absolutely amazing customer service.

Guess Road had several problems not even worthy of my time to discuss-security, homeless, drug use, etc. I hope this will save others from wasting their time and money. And after moving out, they refuse to return any prepaid fees. Disgraceful, greedy corporation. Never again.

This is a SCAM, and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place at all costs. If you have had this experience with unilateral (and egregious) price hikes, please post your stories here on Yelp, or Google, or other places. It's the only way predators like Extra Space Storage will learn how to properly treat their customers over the long term.

I think this included a student discount, however, so make sure you ask if you are a student. In terms of security, there is a password needed to get into the gate, and you provide your own lock for your unit. I never had a problem with theft, not did anyone else I know using this location. No contracts are required to use a unit, and you can cancel at anytime. As for as storage units go, I highly recommend Stow-A-Way.

So I'm out all the cleaning money and nothing but increased monthly prices and constantly flow of dirt in my unit from their leaf blowing. They won't fix the or cover anything.
