I wanted to install an amplifier and subwoofer in my sons car for his graduation present. He helped me get all the stuff on amazon and then when he went to install found that the stereo did not have the correct connections. He swapped it for a stereo he had which was better. I messaged Dan on Instagram about an install I wanted him to do. He was very knowledgeable and seemed like he knew what he was doing. Eventually, after talking things over, and right before we were planning to meet up so he could look at my truck he said he felt like he was being pushed (cause I offered him an extra 200 bucks to see if he could do it sooner) and he also said he needed to do more research before installing on my truck. I feel like he should know these things, and if he's not confident enough installing on a new truck, he not competent, period. When I booked Dan to install my grandson's new car radio, he explained that I would have to purchase a few items for him to complete the work properly. He told me what they were and where to find them at the lowest price (Amazon, natch). I was able to get them in two days...two days before our appointment. When Dan came to my house, he left his truck and took my grandson's car back to his garage simply because it was too hot to work outside. I recently scheduled a time for Dan to do a radio install on my Hybrid car. I found Dan very knowledgeable and helpful. He said he's been doing car audio for many years and it shows with his knowledge and skill. At the time he offered me options on radios and I chose to be cheap and take the most basic radio. I noticed right away that the sound was cutting out on Bluetooth and radio. I called Dan back to talk to him about it and we scheduled another time the following day to come by. We determined that the radio was not good quality and we found a suitable replacement. I now have a beautiful Pioneer radio with Android car play and all the features, including a customizable eq. It looks great, sounds great and is easy to use the interface. He also installed a back up camera, but the original one he bought would have covered my whole custom license plate frame so he found another smaller camera of the same quality. It's clear and crisp.
