Coffee, matcha, froyo, milkshakes and crepes. This is an adorable newly renovated cafe in the Town Line Plaza. Get some shopping done and visit Amla to enjoy sweet drinks, and treats. I loved the Strawberry Matcha, it was beautifully layered and very photogenic. I got the Mixed Berry crepe & it was yummy!

Really good food and drinks! Their froyo toppings are next level, will have to come back to try it. Their drinks selection seems limited but what we got was good! Their crepes come out nice and fresh. Their tables are also pretty cool--touch screen with games but they have regular seating too. Getting here was a little confusing as my gps said it was where Goodwill is but we saw it's next to Supercuts. The workers are super friendly too

Strawberry matcha: I got this with almond milk, but I'm sure it'd be sweeter if I got oat.

Our First impression as soon as we walk in was how spacious and cozy it looked. Walking to the counter to see how many treats they had was priceless, trying to choose one was hard, we wanted to get everything: ) I tried a delicious chicken parmesan croissant my honey ordered a Parma Croissant that looked and tasted delicious. I also got a Peach Margo Green tea refresher that tasted nothing like Peach Margo. But everything else was really good. The kids serving were very friendly and helpful with us visiting for the first time, that was a plus.

I popped in because the parking lot was mostly empty. It wasn't particularly busy in the cafe either. There were two small groups ahead of me in line. I order my food and black iced coffee to go. I received my food. It even had to be heated. And I had to wait 10 minutes for them to give me my black iced coffee. Even though there are only two or three people waiting in the drink area. And that was after I said something. So who knows how long it would have taken. This isn't because of lack of effort. The baristas were doing things. They're making lots of drinks. But it's not clear for whom. They finish the drinks and they don't call people's names. Maybe they're for to go orders? I understand that restaurants need to make choices about how they run things. All I can say is, that it's not a good experience to get all of your food and you have to wait for a black iced coffee (a drink that takes very minimal effort) for 10 minutes. Even though you're one of only a few people in the drink area. I'm not going to change my review score. But these experiences definitely affect how often I visit.

I definitely will be back to buy some pasta and sauce! The marketplace is so charming and has a lot to offer. We grabbed a Vietnamese coffee, a slice of the Basque cheesecake, and the Yuzu pineapple lemonade. Typically the lemonade also comes with coconut, but since they were out I added guava instead. It was so refreshing and perfect for this amazing weather that we've been having. We saved the cheesecake and coffee for the next morning, but the coffee was just as great as when I tried it and the cheesecake was so rich!

You know that Annie's…read moreback in town" (Led Zeppelin) I had an early morning Board of Directors meeting in Rocky Hill and stopped at Ani's for a coffee and something to eat. I found it Inside an ordinary looking strip mall. The coffee choices are pretty impressive, and their website made me chuckle when I saw them ask viewers to "Drop the orange and pink branded cup ;-) - There is a better way to start your morning, power your day, and sip on a little sunshine". I passed on their lineup of Cappuccino, Lattes, Espressos, Americanos, Macchiato, Cold Brews, Vietnamese, Cuban, And Con Panna, because all I wanted was a regular coffee, I went with their Deep Roast version known as CAFÉ HABANA, an espresso bean blend from Guatemala, Brazil, and Nicaragua. It was excellent, a yummy dark roast coffee with plenty of taste to it. Now seriously, what is a morning coffee without an accompanying bakery treat. They had a tempting variety of empanadas, croissants, pastries, and it was a tough decision before I put my money down on a muffin-like asparagus cheese frittata. It was decadently great. While I was waiting for my order, I looked around and saw quite a bit of prepared food (all prepared from scratch in house) for take-out. They have a lunch menu and a great looking Italian themed catering menu with Manicotti, Hand Stuffed Shells, Beef Lasagna, Three Cheese Lasagna, Four Cheese Mac & Cheese, and Eggplant Torta. Your shopping and browsing experience will also include sightings of canned goods, assorted groceries and baked goods. For all of these reasons, I was very impressed with my stop at Ani's, and I bet you'll be too.

They have plenty of seating, some upholstered furniture and we saw a few Friday morning telecommuters working on their laptops and sipping their coffees. Our order was a Chai Latte and a Cold Brew - each was $5. The pours were very large, and I swear that my cold brew was the very best I've ever had. I love coffee, drinking it hot or cold, and what I had here is in my all-time Top Five Percent. It was that good. I had a sip of my wife's Chai Latte and thought it was excellent as well. What really impressed me were the flavors of both drinks- not overpowering, but strong enough to appreciate them. The Coffee Guy has it all - specialty coffees, matcha, chai, espresso drinks, and pastries and sweet treats to pair with your coffee cup. We couldn't resist grabbing a few on our way out, and we took home a box with a Spinach croissant, iced blueberry scone, and a cruffin (croissant/muffin hybrid). We loved our visit to the Coffee Guy, and I was so impressed by the total experience, I just subscribed to their newsletter. So the next time we're looking for a midday break or afternoon pick-me-up..... I know a guy!

This place is so adorable on the inside, it is small and pretty intimate, but the decor is precious! There are so many toadstools (the oversized red mushrooms with polka dots) and rainbows everywhere. Tony's specialty's are all his mom's recipes. There was a delightful selection of an assortment of sweets. Of course you can get your coffees and teas too. Each month they change their drink specials. I got a slice of their Salted Caramel Pecan Blondie and a May Specialty Latte called Fay Valentine. The Blondie was rich with caramel on the outside but decadently sweet, yet crunchy. This is an indulgence for sure! The Fay Valentine is a Banana and Peanut Butter Latte, absolutely delicious! I kept slurping long after it was gone! Please go check out the restroom at Tony's, even if nature isn't calling you to go. I have never before encountered a more magical restroom. If I tell you there's Alice herself hanging upside down from the ceiling, maybe that's enough reason to go. I had a wonderful time with my friend at Tony's Flour Shop, the staff is super helpful and friendly. I cannot wait to return.

I ordered three things - decaf coffee, the egg, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich on homemade Italian bread, and a salted croissant. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE had bread like this; it elevated the entire thing That Salted Croissant tho! I was carb-loading double-fisted style, and it was an amazing way to end my work trip. Thank you for the Studio Ghibli stickers! I knew this place was legit when there was a bowl with giveaway stickers And the service was friendly, prompt, and helpful I will definitely be back and would STRONGLY recommend Tony's Flour Shop!

#40 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES…read more This is an Asian-owned, female-owned bakery and coffee shop with delicious Asian-inspired pastries and fun drinks! We came on a Sunday around 10:30am and they were almost out of some of their pastries. Definitely go there earlier. But that just shows how fresh everything is! Firstly, all of the pastries looked delicious! It was so hard to just pick one so we needed up picking 3. Cheesy hotdog bread, kbbq short rib bread, and a cranberry cream cheese pastry. They were all SOOO GOOD! The bread is so soft and the flavors were delicious. They have lots of fun seasonal drinks, caffeinated and non-caffeinated. They also have boba! I got an ube banana latte and my friend got their seasonal Coquito latte which was recommended. Both were delicious (and very strong). The service was immaculate. I didn't catch the cashier's name but she was younger with brown hair. The sweetest person ever! Definitely made the experience more enjoyable. The owner, Chan also gifted us a piece of delicious oreo cake for fun! It was so yummy and not too sweet. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I've been wanting to try out From Chan for awhile now, ever since I saw a YouTube video featuring…read morethem. We took a ride over this weekend and checked it out. First of all the owner and employees are wicked friendly and appreciative of your business. I definitely got the make-you-feel-like family vibe they offer. It was noticed and appreciated. They have a display of all the days baked goods, lots of different danish, cinnamon rolls, and really interesting pizza-like items. I went basic though and just got a regular coffee and egg and bacon sandwich. The sandwich was good, it was basically a cheesy omelette on a very fresh roll. I enjoyed it. The coffee, wasn't the freshest though and honestly a little burnt and plastic-y tasting. I also tried the blueberry cheese danish which was delicious. What I didn't really enjoy, yet understand to a degree, is the pricing and the itemized fees on the receipt. They are a small business, so I understand the struggles and necessity. However they are charging an "Inflation Service Charge" of 4% on top of the subtotal. My receipt also indicated another "Service Charge" of 4%, presumably because I paid with a credit card. In the end, a coffee, a latte, an egg sandwich, and a danish, 7.35% tax, and a tip cost me over $40. I think to me, it is psychological, while I understand they need to increase what customers pay, I guess I just rather they build it into the listed item price rather than tack it on at the end.
