This business has been in New Haven for several months, and I am so glad that I found them!…read more Victor, the Pharmacy Manager, is completely focused on creating a positive customer experience. In speaking with him, he has told me, on several occasions, that they want to be the local neighborhood pharmacy. Their business model embraces the old practices of being concerned about the customer's well-being, accommodating the customer's needs, even when it requires some extra effort, delivering to the customer's home, filling prescriptions for pets, etc. You are even offered coffee or water when you arrive! I was there for a vaccination, but I will definitely be transferring my prescriptions over. I will return to get the remaining vaccinations that I have been avoiding. The personal touch is such a stark contrast to the assembly line approach that I have encountered when using the big chain pharmacies. True-Care is also able to meet their competitors' prices. They know me by name, they truly care about their customers. My medications are always ready when expected. I called the pharmacy to verify that they got the correct prescription, a girl answered the phone told me to wait, I understood told the girl to take her time. She puts me on hold then hangs up. I call again and get hung up on, I call again and someone answered but they were speaking fast and stern the only thing I heard the man saying "we cant help you" mumbled something else and quickly hung up. If someone had answered and politely told me that the person who can help me is unavailable and to call back later, then there would be no issue. But that is not what happened. I unfortunately had to tell my patient that the pharmacy was hanging up on me and she would have to try calling herself. Im not sure what children are working here but they need to be retrained.
