GOOD FOOD-Bit of a wait When we stopped here we originally were seated fast and given chips and salsa. Although I don't think anybody told our waitress we arrived because she didn't notice us for a while and we had to get her attention. We appreciate the chef satisfying our requests. Mario always treats his patrons like his guest at home. Always going above and beyond to make us happy. I should know to check a take-out order. But, I got home and an item I paid for was missing. It was going to take me 10 minutes to drive back and get it. I called to let them know I was coming back for it. The man who answered the call said I was mistaken and that the item was in the sack. I got upset. He, more or less, called me a liar. How!!! But the waitress told us the kitchen lost the ticket. Moving on we asked the manager about the discount and she said what discount we are not giving you guys a discount and told us our food takes a long time because it's on the grill. Even though everybody else who came after us had received there food I mean they acting like they were cooking a whole hog. Anyways, we decided to just leave because the manager kept insisting the food was on the way and after 15 minutes we still didn't get any food. We NEVER got any food. As we were walking out, the manager had the audacity to give us a ticket for our non-alcoholic drinks. So you telling me you want us to still pay for drinks and we couldn't even eat. We asked to speak to the manager again and she told the host to tell us to just leave don't worry about it. So in conclusion we will NOT be back because the service was beyond HORRIBLE!!!!! If a half star was a rating, I would totally have chosen that one. The staff is big time rude. When they first opened, they were awesome, however, after awhile, the kitchen staff started lagging big time. I had been once before and gotten food from there that was undercooked and when I notified the waitress, she rolled her eyes at me and took it to the back... I didn't go back for quite some time after that. I decided to give it one more chance about 3-6 months after that happened. Once again, my chicken was NOT done, two of my friends that were with me (and shared a plate together) got really sick that night with what we believe was food poisoning. They were the only ones to eat that and no one else was sick. When I showed the staff that my food wasn't done, the same waitress that rolled her eyes, stated "it seems like every time you come in here, you have a complaint about the food. You might order something different next time." I guess they wanted me to ingest UNDERCOOKED CHICKEN and get sick BOTH TIMES I was given said meal. Needless to say...
