Outstanding baked goods and sandwiches! Love all the products they sell from small businesses too. Customer service couldn't be better!

We took the French Macaron cooking class this evening. Paul ran the class with Allie helping. Paul was very knowledgeable and the class couldn't have been better. Allie was exceptionally helpful and made the evening very pleasant. We enjoyed the pastries and the wine! We highly recommend this bakery! read more

Ordered 60+ cupcakes of 4 varieties for an event in Barnstable. The order was perfect including a gluten-free option. The cakes were beautiful and tasty. We visited 2 other times and had pastries and the flourless chocolate cake. Yum! read more

Love to stop at AMIE for a delicious hot coffee and a special savory treat, spinach and goat cheese on a flaky and buttery pastry. A must is to try at least one new item each trip for your pastry experience. Also available is a breakfast and lunch menu of the finest ingredients when you can say, "wow" I really enjoy it. I have LOVED everything I have tried at AMIE! The lemon squares are the best!!! The croissants are excellent!

Came here for brunch one morning with some friends. Definitely a cool interior. I had a croissant sandwich and it was pretty decent. They have a nice outdoor seating area which is where we ate. Everybody liked what they got but nothing really really stood out. read more

I have been here three times. Once I even got to order and to eat. Menu is fine, pastries are good, atmosphere and surroundings are very clean and nice. But twice the line was 10 minutes before you can even order, then 5 to 10 minutes more to pay. I just couldn't stand the wait. When I did get food that one time, they did not provide a straw for my ice drink, nor utensils for my food. Summer help is part of the problem but the design to take orders, both take out and eat in, is terrible. I guess I'll try again in the Fall. read more

Ordered an anniversary cake for our 20th. When I picked it up was a little disappointed as at first they couldn't find my order. Finally when it came out the cake looked unfinished. After tasting it was disappointed as cake was supposed to be a vanilla cake with almond and vanilla frosting. There was no taste of vanilla in the cake or frosting nor almond in the frosting. There was no celebratory flowers or designs on cake. Cake and frosting was just blah. Paid way too much!! Almost think they forgot our cake and gave us one they had on hand since I had to wait while they tried to find it!! Not sure if I would return!! read more

Hubby and I have been saying for years that someone should open a cafe where you can get coffee in an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. Amie Bakery-- (I know I sound like a commercial-) - fills this desire .. even more we could imagine. Elegant atmosphere, wonderful menu, great staff, and most importantly-- coffee!!! read more

Very good bakery, a little on the expensive side. It is normally worth the money but it's about 5-7 dollars for a single cupcake

Stopped by while I was out doing an early morning walk. I couldn't decide what I wanted, but I knew my wife liked Cinnamon Rolls, so I bought that and decided on the French toast for myself. My wife thought the Cinnamon roll was sort of dry and that the cinnamon itself should have been throughout the roll, but it seemed like it had oozed toward the bottom during the baking process. I should have followed my guts and tried the croissants. I don't think there was anything wrong with the French toast, I just wanted to try something new and through the case it looked very appealing. I will definitely be coming back to try other things when I am in the area. read more

when the door was unlocked we walked in to find the second door locked so we waited while somebody got the key for that. When we got inside it was approximately 50° and extremely uncomfortable because of that cold air conditioning. It's very pretty in there and they have some very nice products; the baked goods looked wonderful. I ordered an elderflower Matcha latte and gave my name. I stood there freezing waiting for my drink. Finally I saw people who came in after me get their drinks and leave. I saw a drink standing there; this was after five minutes or more. I wen over and saw my name on the receipt. So my drink had been standing there but nobody bothered to call my name. the drink was good. Later I called and asked to speak to the owner. I heard her in the background, very annoyed, saying 'who is it?' what do they want?' The gal on the phone asked me and I said I was a customer who wanted to speak to the owner. When I explained all my grievances, instead of saying I'm very sorry please come in and have another drink on me, she spent 10 full minutes making excuses for all the things that went wrong. I don't consider this an appropriate response... especially considering she had sounded like she was too busy to get on the phone in the first place!! read more

Overall, a mediocre and overpriced experience. the bakery itself is very beautiful and decorated nicely with a gorgeous ambiance. the menu board on the wall is hard to see and read due it's placement and crowdedness of words. the counter staff was pleasant but a little unexperienced, messing up the drink and giving the wrong amount of pastries (one less than paid for). the food was very underwhelming. the cobb salad was extremely salty and impossible to finish, nothing special. the ham and cheese croissant had a weird sauce that wasn't listed on the menu which made it difficult eat. on a brighter note, the smoothies and pastries were pretty good. the food is overpriced for the taste but the pastries are worth going for. read more

Was SO excited for my visit to Amie this morning for their usually amazing ham and cheese croissants. What is this? A single slice of ham and stop & shop brand grated Mexican cheese for $7/pop? You should be ashamed. read more

AMIE Bakery - Wahhhh wohhhhh - Bakeries Near Me - Osterville, Massachusetts

Overpriced for sure, and the coffee is inconsistent. The croissants are tasty but not worth the wait. I get that it's in a pricier area and there isn't much around, but I wish since it IS one of the only bakeries, it was better. read more

It gets 2 stars for the great decor. Breakfast was greasy. Smoothie was a miss. Baked goods were awesome. They should have stuck with the baked goods. Go to McDonald's or Dunks for your breakfast sandwich and coffee and save yourself $10, the line, and a 10 minute wait for the bathroom. read more

We love trying new places when we visit the cape and this time we were very exited to try Amie Bakery. What a great experience! Plenty of parking and beautiful fall decorations decorating it's outside seating area. Inside is a French treat. Menu is just right with a nice selection of breakfast and lunch items. Ice cream, coffee and espresso drinks also on offer. We were delighted with the menu and tried quite a few things. We were hungry :) The warm Ham and Cheese croissant was a clear favorite tied with the McAmie (sausage egg and cheese on a cheesy biscuit) the biscuit is sooo good. Baked goods where to start?- the lemon slice, almond croissant, scones were absolutely heavenly (we are European and delighted when we get that authentic taste of home). The sesame brownie, lemon meringue, flourless chocolate cake and the chocolate chip cookie are a must. To top of our wonderful experience I asked if they could make an espresso drink not listed on the board and they were happy to try it. Perfect first time which meant I had to have a second. It was a beautiful day and a very busy morning with the line out the door and I so appreciated their willingness to make a cortado to top off our yummy brunch. Lots of staff behind the counter lead to a quick and efficient service. Amie's will definitely be our favorite breakfast / brunch stop from now on. On a second and third trip this weekend we enjoyed the same experience and service and stocked up on some DELICIOUS seeded breads and pies to take home. Great find, and a must try! read more

The aesthetics and feel of the shop is fantastic! The coffee was delicious, and with Almond milk, it offered an alternative to dairy. However, the almond milk could have been cleaner- not sure of the ingredients but my body's reaction to it suggested there were a number of harsh additives. I understand it is a bakery and hence, lots of sugary items, but it also serves as a local coffee shop. There was a limited number of savory items that were filled with heavy cheese and meat. I would love to see lighter fare and more non-sugary items available such as a fruit cup; an oatmeal item, with sugar optional; a savory wrap that is plant items only- no cheese or meat; a muffin and granola, each sweetened with dates or fruit only; berry-banana smoothie bowls, etc. The world is transitioning away from meat and dairy for our health, the health of the planet, and the welfare of animals. It would be lovely to see Amie-- friend, with fare that serves to benefit all living beings. read more

The very best coffee I have found on the Cape (I drink dark roast). Cinnamon Bombs are great, as are the almond croissants. Staff is cheery and on the ball. read more

COOKIES!!!! Birthdays at the office usually mean cupcakes from a place around the corner, but my coworker doesn't like cake or cupcakes (I know, right?). He said he wouldn't say no to a good cookie. I looked online and found AMIE in Osterville, which is SORTA on my way to the office, so I stopped in and ordered 2 dozen assorted cookies. The price initially startled me, but this is a great coworker so I paid, tipped, and left. Well, EVERYONE went bananas over the cookies!!! Not only did they look amazing (it was obvious these weren't from the supermarket), but the tastes were out of this world. EVERYONE wanted to know where they came from -- AMIE! Thanks for making me the office hero for the day! Pricey, but as another reviewer commented, worth every penny! read more

Really old bread on both of our sandwiches. And at $27. for them we were pretty sour! The brownie kinda made up for it but the macaroon tasted like everything else in the fridge. They did have really nice lights though, so I'm giving 2 stars. All in all, covid or not, i'll pass next time. read more

Due to pre existing conditions I am not able to be with our family during Covid. My darling daughter has tried to provide us with little pleasures during this time.We can't get out.For Christmas she brought us lovely little boxes from this bakery so we could have a desert on Christmas.I can't imagine the cost. These items are drier and staler than a thrift bakery. My husband went ahead and had something.Me, the sweet lover couldn't be bothered. These were shameful.I'm amazed in Osterville of all places this quality would fly. read more

If I rated them on food alone I would give them one star. The building and decor is pretty nice but the pastry selection is nothing special at all, bordering on BORING. I was hoping it might be like Pie in the Sky in Woods Hole. They should scout that place and try to emulate that place and it would be a great direction to go in. Observation by me. read more

Went a few weeks ago when visiting my mom on the Cape. We were very excited to try this place. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The prices are ridiculous, the sweet pastries and asparagus danish were bland and all have a strange aftertaste like licorice. The onion tartlet was amazing I have to give them that. Very savory and buttery. Lunch choices were limited with nothing my 12 year old would attempt to eat. Why would you advertise having pizza, have it on the menu, then say you don't sell pizza? Also, why would we pay these prices for something like egg salad and a few field greens when we can make it at home for pennies? Not enough seating inside as well. It's a great idea, pretty place, but missing the mark. read more

We get breakfast at Amie on the weekends and always think about exploring the menu because it's that awesome. I highly recommend everything including my personal favorite breakfast sandwich the McAmie. The staff are exceptional. read more

Go to Amie often to get a Chai Latte and avoid the drive to Starbucks. Amie is closer to home. The wait - even with three people behind the counter doing nothing - is weird (everyone I know who goes there comments on it). I've often seen people shrug and leave because they can't get waited on. Covid hadn't stopped other service oriented businesses from figuring it out. Anyway..will keep trying since the place is nice. We bought a $45 Yule Log cake for Christmas and had to throw it away. Our small family was so excited to see it. Everyone left more than half a slice on their plate. They said something is wrong with this cake. They forgot the sugar? The chocolate? Don't know. No flavor. Surprising given their use of high end ingredients. read more

Went here Sunday morning. I was greeted by a tall young man with sort of a annoyed face. Didn't know what set him off but I just wanted my Blueberry muffin and coffee. I'm on my way to work and I don't need any delays. He mumbled something vulgar and headed to the coffee machine. Long story short, coffee was lukewarm and the muffin was hard and dry. Not a place I'd like to come back to. This stuff isn't cheap either. I think it was somewhere around $12 for this disappointment. read more

I've been to this "newer" location a few times but just for a breakfast sandwiches and coffee. I have always liked whatever I've ordered. People have mentioned Amie being expensive and I guess that's fair but I do think that a bit more goes into the product. The ham/egg/cheese croissant is great and the béchamel puts it over the top. If you're looking for a made to order greasy egg and cheese this isn't your place. My only complaint involves the coffee...or coffee station, I guess. It's not cheap and that's fine...there's a Dunks down the road if that's what you desire. Large cold brew (i think) was over $6....again fine...but give me a coffee station with with simple syrup and napkins. I know you're not a coffee shop but simple syrup isn't a lot to ask. I saw simple syrup behind the counter and asked if I could use it and was told that it cannot be used for coffee. It's sugar and water. You can master this recipe. Not a big deal but sometimes it's the little things. read more

They were out of almost all baked items offered on the menu...but for some reason they have garlic knots for breakfast. Seems like a nice place with a lot of potential though, hopefully they pull it together. read more

Amazing bakery!!!! Wonderful Sheperd's pie too. I fantasize about their cookies all the time.

Waited till the summer season was over to visit AMIE and it was worth the wait! My favorite sweet is Ginger cookies and Amie's didn't disappoint. In fact the best one EVAH. You have to be a ginger lover as it has a wonderful ginger bite. Loved it! It was breakfast... haha and my other half ordered Tiramisu Gelato and a blueberry scone. His only complaint was he didn't order a large gelato! It was creamy and full of flavor. Can't wait to try other flavors. The scone was average... but how could it compete with gelato and a ginger cookie?? Don't miss this place! We'll be back! read more

This place is a winner. Went in today and enjoyed a local coffee and slice of specialty cake. This is my favorite coffee roasted in Mashpee and now I can get a cup right in town! The cake was a special french pastry translated to "kings cake". I'm not a pastry buff but I'd describe it as a fancy and flaky bear claw. It was delicious. My wife had a Carmel Latte and she liked it better than her beloved Starbucks. She also enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie that was "not too soft yet not to crispy". Other customers were enjoying soup and croissant sandwiches. The owner did a great job of remodeling the old Village Cafe. It is very clean and bright inside. The summer crowd may be disappointed in that there are only 9 seats. It will be more of a take out/ in and out place rather than a hangout. Prices seemed reasonable for Osterville. I think my medium cup of coffee was $1.85 and slice of cake was $3.75. I can't give it 5 stars yet. The owner was understandable very busy on the phone while the friendly staff did their best. Fresh coffee needed to be brewed when I ordered it which meant a delay. I was in no hurry, but had I been looking for a quick to-go cup it would have been annoying. I'm sure little kinks like this will be ironed out before the craziness of an Osterville summer hits. read more

AMIE Bakery - Almond chocolate chip croissant. 10/10 - Bakeries Near Me - Osterville, Massachusetts

Just terrible. It looked so adorable from the outside, but what a disappointment. There was a very small selection. The mini-cupcakes looked really pretty, so I paid $2.75 each and they were inedible. Stale and tasteless cake with the buttercream frosting that tasted like it was just straight up whipped butter. Really one of the worst cupcakes I have ever tasted and way too expensive to not be wonderful. Also the sugar cookies looked pretty, but were absolutely tasteless and also somewhat stale. Never going back. Yuck. read more

I was disappointed with the service. The young woman who made my latte was very nice but no one else gave me the time of day. I felt like I was bothering them. The food is overpriced. This local won't go back anytime soon. read more

This new bakery is good but there are a few hits and a few misses and it is a bit pricy. Very "cozy" so either get there early, be prepared to wait outside (there is an overhang if its raining) or order to go. They make a cappuccino but seeing as how I will never try it, you are on your own. The ham and cheese croissant is extremely tasty, but at 7$ it's more of an indulgence than a regular treat. The lemon iced cupcake with a raspberry filling was decadent and worth the 2.50$ per despite it's petite size. I am not a fan of Blueberry muffins but these were outstanding and I chose them based solely on how they looked. Fresh, with real deal blueberries throughout. The mini eclairs were stale and not very flavorful. I did purchase them at 830am, so my assumption is they were a holdover from the day before but that is not an excuse for subpar eclairs. Stop n shop has offered better eclairs (it was a moment of weakness) but if i'm paying a buck for a pastry smaller than my pinky, it needs to explode with flavor. Butterscotch cookies were ok but not amazing, the linzer tart was almost perfect but a tad too sweet. Call something a tart you need a bit of tart in there. Overall a very nice place but a bit pricy. I will definitely try again. read more
