They just needed to move to Belchertown from Amherst, and have a bunch of warm letters from residents of Belchertown and other places greeting them warmly. Their new garage isn't far from their old location in Amherst and has good company in the variety of services offered in this auto plaza--Pelham Auto Repair, Pelham Auto Parts, Jimmy Burgoff (.com) Movers, and the UHaul Rental Gil's office offers. They aren't above working as a team to push your car into the shop and breaking a sweat. That's what you'd need in your auto crews. I think they are in good company here, Creation willing.

I had driven on a flat, and if you're unaware, this can rapidly degrade the quality of your drive. You can wear a CB joint, your axel, or your rotor, if I recall, and too much wear on these can do immense damage to your car's future. I had replaced two of my tires and still felt a wobble. How could it be the tires, I thought? This is why College Street Motors' experience comes into play. The car might as well be a multi-piece orchestra, with brake drums, piston percussion, and wheel woodwinds. I don't intend to go over the top with this metaphor, because it sounds like a bunch of noise and shaking for me. The mechanic left me a very detailed note, describing how there was nothing more discernible than the loud noise coming from the tires I had yet to replace. No wobbling due to damage to other parts of the car. Plus, I believe they warranty their work, maybe I'm just thinking of my AAA membership. After my tires were replaced, I was relieved at how right they were. As internal combustion engine drivetrain cars are complex, so are electrical cars in their own way. It's a world I have yet to get into, or may never dig deep enough to really gain a foothold of experience. Luckily, there're mechanics just down the street for me that took only a bit of time to diagnose the problem, find a tire match for the ones I had just gotten new, and then both install and balance. I bet their experience pays dividends to other customers, too, who are hoping to make sense of a new problem with little labor and diagnostics. Thank you all, even the pickup with your front desk team was pleasant.

When I arrived, Firestone really stepped up to the plate. They were very professional, friendly, open and honest. I am recently out of grad school, and in June I had just started my first big job when my ancient car needed a lot of things replaced all at once. I drive everywhere to work in peoples' homes for the work that I do. It was devastating because I was also up for inspection. They knew that I didn't have the money or time right away, but they gave me as much help as possible over the span of two weeks. They waived a lot of fees because the cost of my repairs was going to be quite high. In addition they gave me a free (except for insurance) rental car for work when I needed it. Also when I ventured off into Hadley on foot during a 5 hour stretch of repairs, they personally came to pick me up and took me home out of courtesy. Firestone really did me a solid and didn't make me pay for anything unexpected or unreasonable, e.g. they replaced a very expensive part for free because I was already paying a lot and it just so happened that my car was so poorly made/warped that even the pipes ordered from the dealer didn't fit into my car's converter. I feel more comfortable going to these guys than anyone else after that experience and I have been recommending them to people since. My car has been running well since the repairs, and I appreciated the very welcoming and understanding service.

The first red flag should have been when it failed inspection twice but they pushed it through, at our expense ( charging a 4rd inspection) despite having engine light still on. Im less that 2months, after purchase we had spent over 2000 dollars on exhaust work, brakes, new tires, starter, spark plugs , a window that didnt go done, broken mirror, etc and now facing a full twin muffler and catalytic replacement. All in less than 1 year. I so regret not questioning how they obtained an inspection sticker when twice it was declined, without any repairs made thereafter but At this point, It is futile returning to them as I recognize that I was to trusting and not diligent enough.
