The pricing was very reasonable, especially for motorized blinds, and the turnaround was excellent. Our blinds arrived in about two weeks, and installation couldn't have gone smoother. Greg was in and out in less than an hour, everything worked perfectly before he left, and there wasn't a single thing to clean up afterward. My toddler loves pressing the up and down button on her new blinds and loves the fact that she can see out the windows and watch our squirrels in the backyard now! I explained the situation to Response Crew and I was relieved to receive reassurances from the manager of Response Crew that he'd send one of his best door guys out and that we would not be disappointed. The manager also called back twice to make sure we were happy with the job. Although I missed those voice messages I figure posting about my experience here will make up for that. It's always tough when you are trying to hang a new door on an old frame that may not be perfectly straight anymore. And yes only time will tell if the fit holds. They talked her into extremely expensive blinds -- over $5k for two sets of windows. One was automatic. It took over a month for the install. Once installed, the automatic windows stopped working within a couple months, leaving my mom in the dark most of the summer. It is now October and, despite phone calls, emails and hand-delivered mail, we have heard nothing. I did learn the owner was in an accident. We have tried to give him plenty of grace, recognizing that it is challenging to run a small business, but unfortunately, we have received nothing from anyone at the company in response to our messages. Incidentally, Friendship Village has now removed them from the recommended vendors list. We have had to bring in a new company to repair the blinds so Mom doesn't sit in darkness all winter long. Hold onto your money and find another shutter vendor.
