Raul was the one who helped me, and did a great job explaining the process, and basic 101 knowledge about tires. I had an 8:30 appointment, and was able to be on my way within 1 hour. Thank you to, Raul, Tony, and Isaac. Raul was able to answer my questions with confidence and thorough explanations. When my question was unable to be answered. He suggested to bring in my wheels and speak with Tony. Raul greeted me immediately upon arrival and introduced me to Tony. Tony understood immediately and was in disbelief that other big store service providers were unwilling to assist. Tony asked me about specifications of my wheels and also measured to verify to ensure compliance with system protocols. Once he identified my needs were able to be meet tire warranty regulations. He suggested and clarified the difference between the two best options. Rather than selling me on the top tier option we both identified the second option was best for my usage. The value of the tires I purchased are top tier especially since this particular model is only available with America's tire. I have morFor those that don't understand tiring ratings 560 vs 540 seems minimal but in reality it's about 10-15,000 miles. Which is almost half the life of a tire. Blew a tire out on the freeway just before the exit I was taking. Limped my truck to their newest location just past the exit. Tire was smoking when I pulled in. Was greeted while still in the parking lot and Tony used his hand held meter to check all of my tires and he took my info and we proceeded inside. He said that based on the info from his meter he said that I needed 2 tires (1 obviously) which I knew were very close to being done anyways so I had already done my own research. He showed me what tires were "rated" best on their website and a few others that they had in stock. Not the brand I originally wanted based on my research so I decided to go with what was my 2nd choice mostly because they could install them right away. I elected to get all 4 tires done and additionally decided to install new TPMS sensors as well. It was bad and good timing that I blew my tire. Bad because it was unexpected but good because they had their Black Friday deals going. I got them on sale and an extra $100 off by buying all four tires. Tony also discounted the TPMS by $13 each. So not only did I get new tires I got them on sale and another discounted item that made me feel like I was being taken care of. It only took them 45 minutes to replace the 4 tires. What was extra good is that they use the "road force" balancing machines which are the best tire machines out there. So yah, great experience and way better than Big O. read more

Isaac helped me first by evaluating my tires and recommending a replacement for my worn ones. I had a lot of questions, and he took the time to answer every single one with patience and expertise. He was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel confident in my decisions. While my car was being serviced, another team member came out to keep me updated on the progress and let me know it would be ready shortly, which I really appreciated. Then a third team member brought me from the waiting area and thoroughly went over everything that was performed on my vehicle. The entire experience was smooth, transparent, and genuinely pleasant. I'm glad they opened one in Hercules and I don't have to drive to Concord or Walnut Creek for some tires. I went there just to check my tire pressure because the indicator just turned on. The store manager named Tyrone was the one who helped me. He was very informative and told me about my tires. He helped me right away and found that there was a screw stuck on one of my tires. My tires from my 2021 vehicle still had the original tires since I don't drive it often and they just repaired it for FREE. He didn't try to sell me stuff that I don't need like other shop would do. This review is for a tire rotation and balance only for the new Hercules location. It was for my Tesla Y 2021 LR. I came in at 8:30am for my scheduled appointment, and Tony greeted me and walked me back to my car where I parked it outside in the lot. Tony was friendly and quickly got me checked in. I was in and out in 30 minutes. To my surprise, Phil, the tech who was working on my car, asked me if I had a preferred PSI level, and I stated the standard recommendation from Tesla, which is 42 PSI. That was a nice bonus. I have only one suggestion for an improvement, which I did communicate to Tony. They need a stronger Wifi signal. Other than that, it was quiet and pleasant to hang out and wait in the waiting area. Full transparency: I've been a customer and fan of America's Tire in Concord for a few years. I have purchased a complete set of 4 tires twice from the Concord location for my Tesla Y 2021 LR since 2023. The first set were the Continental ProContact RX . The second and current set, which I purchased in Sep 2025, are the Pirelli Scorpion Zero AS Plus 3 NCS Elect. I get my tires rotated periodically (about 7500 miles) at no additional charge as part of purchasing the tires from them. I am very happy that they opened up a store in Hercules! I'm looking forward to purchasing a set of EV tires from them for my Hyundai Kona Electric 2023 SE, in about a year. read more

I ordered 2 tires from Tire Rack, and had it shipped here for installation. The service went well overall -- the service writers seem rather meticulous about explaining how their process works, along with general tire knowledge sharing. This style of approach is quite refreshing compared to how the rest of the tire industry operates. The tires were mounted on Volk TE37 wheels without any visible/hard scratches on the outside. All in all, this would've been an easy 5-star review had it not been for the following: * I requested to keep one tire, but had to remind them about it before driving off. + bonus point for the tire tech wrapping the tire in plastic once they got a hold of the tire * I also had to remind them to return my lug nut socket * Air pressures were set unevenly at 42 psi, 42 psi, 41 psi, 35 psi * And for the main reason why this is a 4-star review: When I got home, I realized 2 of my black valve stem caps were missing. Instead, I got a janky rounded head valve stem cap as shown in the photo Despite some of the mishaps, I would still recommend this business over most other tire shops around the area. I just need to do a more thorough post-installation inspection next time around. read more

With his knowledge & help I was able to have a peace of mind that my car would & DID get serviced well. Thank you Charles for also reassuring that my vehicle was properly inspected with my spare ! I honestly didn't know I had a spare. Charles also recommended that I should consider looking into getting a spare soon. First was the attention to detail after a major curb check I had two flat tires and a bent rim. The associate knew what to do and they were very kind to let my car stay there for two days until my tires came in and I was able to pay for them because they know how to save money. This place is terrible with customer efficiency. I have had my car sitting now for over 45mins for a tire change and TPM sensor replacement. And has yet to be touched. I have counted 8 employees and one car being worked on. There was a car that pulled up outta nowhere and was immediately worked on without going through the queue. At first i believed maybe I caught them at lunch time, but I'm not understanding the level of service this place offers. Another car pulls up for free air check and is immediately helped, again not going through the line queues. From a management standpoint I really can't comprehend this kind of service. 2 stars because the First Gentleman was very professional. But who in the hell knows where he went from there. read more

Went here to get a quote for new tires. Was greeted by Phillip and Tony, both were really helpful. They just opened 3 weeks ago so they weren't busy on a weekday. They accept walk ins but they do suggest scheduling an appointment ahead of time just in case they do have other cars/customers they are already working on. They were able to give me a quote, told me what promotions were going on, and got me in and out in 30-40 minutes with 4 new tires. While they were working on putting the new tires, they updated me on what was happening and how much longer they were going to be.
