I bought their most expensive Michelin tires for my Toyota Camry and I get my car back with a broken in seat because they let their heaviest employee sit in my car to move it and now every time I sit down in my seat The cushion squeaks and pulls apart much further than what it did before there's 300+ pound employee decided to sit in my car seat. They had over 15 employees that were average to thin that could have moved my car. They should be mindful about these things when hiring people and only have those people work a front desk and not allow them to get into the other vehicles and move them The manager took the year make and model of my car and claims he's going to buy me a new base cushion to put into my Toyota seat but I'd like to see some actual proof that he's doing this and not just him telling me because in situations like this words are cheap until the act is fulfilled in providing the replacement. All in all, they are truly a 5 star establishment. I came here on a weekend since they are located close to where I live, and I need someone to repair my punctured tire. When I arrive, they are busy with a lot of customers. I was checked in promptly and told the wait will be 45 mins. I waited outside at one of the bench they have and got the chance to look at how they operate. The way they work is very impressive and very organized. All the employees know what they're doing and they move in the most efficient way possible. They worked through at least 10 cars within 30 mins and my car is ready earlier than the estimated time. They did not charge me for repairing the punctured tire, which is very nice and thoughtful, and a good strategy to win future business. They're right cause they have me as a lifetime customer. I would recommend this establishment to everyone I know. During the time I waited for my car, I saw some other customers' who purchased tire from them, they look awesome and I'm sure I will be returning for purchases if I'm in need of tires. The best service hands down. I went in for a tire rotation and my sales associate Kevin informed me my lug nuts were stripped. So I bought new ones and they installed them however I did not notice until I got home they did not sit flush with the wheel and stuck out (I know, it's a small detail). So I called America Tire back and spoke with Kevin to see if we had any replacements that fit my truck better. While none were in stock, Kevin called two other local America tire shops to see if they had them. They did not. Kevin then calls a supplier to mobile deliver them that very same day. Also after each update he received, he called me back to give me the update and when they were delivered. Next morning I came back and the lug nuts were exchanged. Great experience through out the whole process. Kevin was very professional and followed up with me every step of the way. Americas Tire in Clovis is a good business and I recommend them. This is one of those rare businesses where the employees are professional, competent, friendly, and helpful. If there is an issue (for example, one time my tires weren't inflated as I requested), it is resolved in good faith without needless back-talk or argument from the employees - an indication of good company culture. Cooper Tires are my go to. These guys are my shameless Cooper plug. Every vehicle I've ever put tires on run Coopers. Originally I got Cooper Discoverer ATP's on my Titan in 2017 at the America's Tire in Fresno. 2 now have worn down at ~50,000 miles. The other 2 were replaced prior due to nails, punctures etc. Got those 2 replaced today and Austin has the BEST service of any America's tire rep I've ran into. They're all pretty good, but I originally called Austin to check if they had these in stock, and that I was driving 4 hours from Yosemite to get these. Totally chill, double checked. Put them on hold, I hit the road. Service is quick. I actually used to work at a shop (That did tires but way less volume than these guys) and I'm envious of how fast they can git'r dun!! The road hazard warranty has yet to fail me. Makes the frustration of a flat tire way less frustrating, and costs I think around 30 per tire?.... Prices are pretty darn good for these tires. I'm sure there are less expensive options, but having ten plies are well worth it when you constantly drive on dirt roads. read more

I'm a repeat and long time customer of the America's Tire on Shaw and Fowler. The staff and management is always super helpful and friendly and efficient. When they know I'm in a hurry, they are upfront about potential wait times and tell me if they can get the work done when I want or not. The last time I was there, the staff offered to drive me home while they did the work and when the work was done they picked me up!! Wow! I was blown away and appreciative. The quality of the work has been good and I have not had to come back. Other times, I have waited for my vehicle and can often hear the mechanics in the garage. We are up here from the Bay Area visiting family before Christmas, I noticed that the tire pressure warning light was on, so pumped up the tires and it didn't go out.... Made an appointment online and headed to the store. I was checked in and they immediately went to check the sensors which were all ok. I drove up to the tire shop before 8:00am. My observations were that staff were already working full force and customers lined outside the front door waiting for the doors to open. This was my first visit to this shop, recommended by my son-in-law. As a mature woman my observations gave me a good feeling about this shop. I got off my car to get in line, because my son-in-law said that it gets really busy and he was already on his way to meet me. The store opened shortly after and to my surprise staff immediately came out one by one to assist the first two customers ahead of me. Next, I didn't know at the time but it was the manager that assisted me. He introduced himself with a big smile. What a knowledgeable and kind person he was. His suggestions for the type of tires I wanted and needed were right on. I left the car and returned hours later. This shop was busy when I left and extra busy when I returned to pick-up my car.
