I had a wonderful experience at America's Tire last night. I had gotten a flat and needed to buy a tire to get me buy until I could order new tires at Costco. It was about 5:57pm (they close at 6pm) and Julian assisted me. I told him what I needed and he was able to locate the tires I was going to order from Costco and price matched them. He told me he would have them installed for me in about 15-20 minutes. I was surprised that they worked passed 6pm to install my 4 tires. They did a great job and I got an amazing price. As a returning customer who was very satisfied with the previous work, I am very disappointed in the way I was treated today by Matthew. I brought my car in to get 4 lug nuts removed and was quoted $100. I had made a call prior to coming and over the phone it was $25 for all 4 nuts. After telling Matthew that, he said best he can do for me is $10 per nut. I then called their sister tire shop in Fresno and was quoted again the same $25 for all 4 nuts. I asked Matthew if he would price match and was turned down til I reminded him it's the same store, just a different location. At that time he was like fine, but all that rudeness from the start of meeting me to that point made me take my business elsewhere. I hope it's just one of those bad days for him and not everyday he's like this. read more

Right off, the four stars is about amenities such as coffee and snacks. I am spoiled to them and not to have them feels weird. That being said; this was my second visit. I answered the suggestion from an email sent as a reminder to service my tires that I bought here months ago. Great idea. Mike received me and assessed my tires. I didn't need much, but after a second look, a young worker found that one of my tires did need a nail removed and to be patched which he fixed for free then pumped all four of the tires to the factory recommended pounds plus one extra pound because it's cold now. In total, three people helped me and I am very satisfied with the quality of service here, therefore I will continue coming back. read more

Bought all new tires in April, the tires they recommended for quality and safety. Three months later and two already went out. No damages to them they are just done. The service rep said it is normal wear and tear! I say low quality or poor workmanship. Without question bad customer service! UPDATE: The manager contacted us regarding this review. I have not spoke with him yet and asked that he call my husband. I will say the show of concern for customer satisfaction in general and making contact so quickly after this review goes a long way with me. Taking this review up a star. Hopefully they can resolve the issue completely. UPDATE it's now been TEN DAYS on the new tires and the tow truck just left. We got a FLAT on the NEW TIRE! Needed a patch yet had to wait for over an hour for them to tell me they they would not patch the tire. They could have just looked at it when I drove up but they wanted to sweat me so I could buy tires I guess (did not have them in stock anyway). I knew it could be patched. After I had to drive the car out of the bay myself b/c the tech could not drive stick. I then drove about 5 blocks down Shaw and got it patched in less than 20 minutes at a DIFFERENT tire shop (no hassle) I was so great full I bought lunch (pizzas) for the ENTIRE crew at the OTHER shop that did not try to grift me. I came for a tire pressure check to fill up a bit on air since my tire light turned on. I asked one of the worker if they could help me fill up my tires, he said "Uh yah, in a minute" with attitude as he rolled his eyes and walked away. I don't know if it's a race thing or not but he was just laughing and talking it up with the white gentleman before me who also got his tires checked. read more

Price is good but it's really all about the service. And this location is fantastic - I really couldn't be happier! They repair for free, when possible, and when I really HAD to replace my front tires and couldn't afford two, they gave me a discount to meet my budget rather than only replacing one tire (tread was just too low on both and I had a screw in one) by cutting the installation fee to 75¢. Yes, 75 CENTS. I even asked about a less expensive tire or just replacing the damages tire. Even with the courtesy discount, they STILL gave me the hazard repair warranty. I really felt they were more concerned with my safety and with customer service than making a buck.Which is why this has been the ONLY tire vendor I have patronized for fifteen plus years (and four vehicles) and why I'll keep coming back. read more

I was in need of all new tires and did not want to spend $1000 like I did the last time I replaced my tires. I asked around and this location is where my work goes to when they need tires for all the work vehicles. So I decided to check them out. I had a quote from Jay the store manager and that fit my budget. I got there before they opened and was the second customer helped. I was in and out no more than 30 mins. That made me happy. A friend recommended this place and I'm so happy she did. I had a leak in my front driver's side tire and I came in a little after the place opened. I was seen pretty quickly and Logan (what his jacket said lol) was really friendly. He reviewed all of my tires and explained the tread was worn on the front 2 only and the front driver's side was coming apart on the inside which was causing the leak. He didn't try to up sale for all 4 tires and while going through the quote he offered 2 different tires but explained that the cheaper tire was just as good quality as the other option and that he was only offering it because it was similar to what I already had. read more

Very disappointed, I went in to the Clovis shop to get my tire air and as I pull in behind a car that was getting service in front of me. The service guy finished pumping the tires. He just gave me a look without saying anything and took off. I waited for 30 minutes and none of the workers would come and help me. This is a very bad service. I've been using their service for a very long time. I would not recommend anyone to go to the Clovis shop anymore. Poor service!!! read more

Always come here for the typical rotation and balance and of course new tires when needed. During today's visit was the first of having an issue needing to be resolved, I had two flats and 3 valve stems that needed to be replaced. Jay the store manager assisted me via phone before my visit, Kevin assisted me inside the shop, Carlos was the gentlemen who worked on my truck and all of them were very kind and helpful. Called yesterday to set appointment for 4 Michelin tires for my 1/2 ton truck. Since they did not have 4 in stock I was scheduled for today at 3:30pm. I arrived about 3p.m. and was met by the Mgr. Jay Shannon who told me to just take a seat and he would take care of the truck. While waiting I perused the various advertisements and came across one for the America's Tire Credit card. Before I could finish reading about it Jay came over and I asked him about it and he gave me the low down and I immediately signed up. Went in to America's Tire in Clovis to purchase a set of tires for a corolla we own. In addition to needing new tires the car tire sensor light was on and I needed it checked. As soon as I walked in JAY promptly sprang into action and had me follow him out as he checked the sensors on the tires. He found that two were bad. I had them put in a new set of tires and when I got back to pick up the vehicle I found that his very accommodating staff had changed ALL 4 sensors and for the price of only two. I have previously been a Les Schwab customer but the rave reviews I had been reading about this place convinced me to give them a try. I am so glad I did. They have a new fan. I rarely write reviews but in this instance I felt compelled as service such as this has to be appreciated and publicly praised. Did I mention that there was NO up sell and that JAY gave me a nice run down on the tire specs of the set I purchased?
