I've purchased numerous sets of tires here over the years. Everyone there is great. They let you choose the tires you want...no pushy upsell but when you ask, they'll share honest opinions including when not to spend that extra money. Alignments also available. Waiting room is roomy, bathrooms are clean, and they will stay late to make sure you're taken care of. Service plus value makes this a top place. read more

Great job, guys!! My partner came in needing a nail removed. You not only managed to convince her she needed 2 new tires, but went ABOVE & BEYOND, convincing her she needed the OTHER 2 tires replaced. Before the nail, I checked myself and guarantee she had good tread on ALL FOUR. Proud of yourselves?? gbp Chico read more

Came in need of two new tires immediately. Went online and found tires i wanted before going in. First time going to change tires. Was helped out pretty quick by Matt. Nice and polite guy. I told him the situation and that I needed them done same day. Despite being busy, he assured me there was a great crew in the back and that they would get my car done same day. The process was very easy and all I had to do was wait. Done in ~1.5 hrs Definitely would come back for any tire problems again! read more

Made and appointment for new tires and alignment. Was told 45 min. Came back for appointment and told it's only walk in for alignment so it would be over 2 hours! Unacceptable. Used to think this place had great customer service but to not be told ahead of time about alignment only being walk in is so frustrating, as if I had known I would have planned accordingly. read more

This place is an absolute ripoff joke. The customer service first and foremost was my main area of concern. Seems like they don't have enough people working there that understand the service industry and their business moreover. Had a tire blow up and needed it replaced kid was wild eyed and barely able to pay attention to what I was saying in the evening. Then I come back and it's one tire so needless to say I figure they'll pull my truck up quickly and get it done. Instead, after giving my keys to the attendant at the desk he just walks in and ignores me so I have to actively go up and say are you guys going to have time to do that? He says oh yeah we'll squeeze you in. So the kid from the previous night didn't Make a note and tell the shop that they'd need to install my tire. All that while the had tires just sitting in an open stall taking up valuable work area, how lazy can you be? Nice work today fellas! Do better. read more

America's Tire - Tires Near Me - Chico, California

I cannot say much for the quality; the best they have going for them is the warranty. I came in today after being told that an appointment is not available. When I dropped off my vehicle I was told an hour and a half MAX wait to get my car back. I came back an hour later and it has not moved from where I parked it. It would be nice to see a little hustle in these boys! They are definitely the slowest moving tire shop in Chico. read more

Best customer service,,, and prices in the industry! And honest , and fast. My car was telling my rear tire treads We're getting low. They checked all 4 tires when I came in, told me rears were indeed extremely close to needing replacement, but fronts still had tread left. Went ahead and had all 4 replaced. They were extremely knowledgeable about which tires to reccomend for my particular vehicle. This was my 2nd time coming here. Used to go to Costco, but their service/attitudes are better, and they matched Costco prices. A no brainer read more

I was visiting Chico when I needed new tires. I went to America's Tire and they had my front tires in stock but needed to order the rear tires. I was only in town for a week but they said they could get them in a few days. They never followed up when they said they would and still haven't called me back to finish the sale. Went to Les Schwab the day before I was leaving town and received great service. Timeline of service: Tue 7/16: Went to America's Tire and ordered tires. Was told the tires would be in on Friday and they would call me. Fri 7/19: Didn't receive a call so I called the store in the afternoon. They said the tires would be included on the Sat delivery, and they would call me. Sat 7/20: Never received a call. Went to Les Schwab and received excellent service. Today, Fri 7/26: Still haven't heard from America's Tires! read more

I challenge you to find a better deal on a full-service tire replacement in Chico. America's Tire may be a large chain, but I must say that I was impressed with the online reviews. As the latest online reviewer, I too can contest that my overall experience was satisfactory. My vehicle's tires were in dire need of replacement - and America's Tire was the clear choice. Their website is easy to navigate through and I was able to take advantage of a holiday promo going on. The online pre-order was simple and as promised, was given a call by the shop the next morning. Customer service at this location is superior. The men whom had assisted me were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We did run into a hiccup where the tires didn't arrive at the shop on the scheduled date. I waited until after 4pm on the scheduled day and after no call, went in to inquire. They were not able to make any sort of adjustment to the order and I had no choice but to wait until the following day. I will say that when I went in the following day, the staff did go out of their way to accommodate me which I appreciate. The installation took maybe 40 minutes (I was expecting a few hours at least) and the end result was remarkable. Grateful to have bought new tires at an affordable rate from this company. They may be just another chain to most, but I feel they added that personalized touch which made it worth my while. read more

My first time trying Americas Tire. I called the store told the employee the tire size 225-45-r18. They said they had a set of 4 tires for $498 with mounting and balancing. Deal sounded decent for set of 4 tires with 40k warranty but when I showed up to the shop I waited 10 minutes just to be told they don't have those tires in stock and can't help me out. Americas tire doesn't seem to have updated inventory or doesn't write down proper tire measurements. I had to tell the guy 3 times the size and finally show them a picture of my tire for them to properly find out they don't have those tires. Americas tire lost $500 in business but it worked out in my benefit because I got a better deal at another tire shop in town. Better tires, same price and better tire warranty at competition. Americas tire go there if you wanna waste time, gas expenses and slow service. read more

At the end of a long drive from Seattle, I managed to get only the 2nd flat tire of my 64 year long life, just North of Chico, on the way to Paradise. Exhausted and only slightly hysterical, I was directed to America's tire by the local BMW dealership , who did not have my specialty run-flat tire in stock. As my sister contacted Avis rental cars (also a great place!) I chatted several times with Eric. He saved the day and was able to order the tire just before closing, provide my car a safe place for the night and had me back on the road in less than 24 hours!!!!!!!! Thank you to eric and Kaden who helped me at pickup!!!!! read more

Outstanding service. Drive thru tire pressure quick convenient. Friendly excellent employees

I called my local store (Chico, CA), got a quick quote on a few options and was told to come on down. I get there, it took about 10 minutes to do the tire selection and another 30 to install the tires. I was done and out of there in under 45 minutes. What excellent and quick service. This is why I have been a repeat customer for many years Thanks America Tire! read more

As I always do, I had a great experience today at this location. I only had to wait for one car, and after only 5 minutes it was my car's turn and Leonardo filled my tires, and we had a very nice conversation. He was super friendly greeting me and kindly let me know of a few other concerns dealing with my car's tires, and was patient with me asking questions (being a teenage girl who is clueless about cars and tires) despite him having to stand in the cold and rainy weather. I wish there were more service workers like Leonardo! I am never disappointed in my visits here as the workers are always amazing and my visits are super convenient. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have always been so pleased with American Tire. As a female sometimes you are not sure if you are getting the best information when it comes to automotive care. I have gotten tires here in the past, so I knew when I wanted new wheels and tires for my new car I'd choose America's Tire. Eric was awesome! I brought in pictures of what I liked and he showed me how they would look on my car with their computer program. He even talked me out of a more expensive tire that I was considering, based on my use, so I'd get better gas milage. So pleased AGAIN with this company. I even got to test the wheels/tires out in a recent road trip-hummed right along and look amazing. Thanks Eric! read more
