My family entered into a Kitchen remodeling agreement with CMA Flooring in July 2025…read more Based on my experience, I would encourage potential customers to conduct thorough due diligence before signing contracts, authorizing financing, or making substantial payments. In our case, funds were paid and financing was arranged for the project. However, no work was performed, no materials were delivered, and the project was never completed. We repeatedly requested resolution and a refund. In March 2026, we met with the owner (Bader Obed) in an effort to resolve the matter, and a refund was discussed. Unfortunately, the matter remains unresolved. We subsequently retained legal counsel and a formal attorney demand letter was sent. I recommend that customers: * Obtain detailed written project schedules. * Require written milestones, start dates, and completion dates. * Carefully review all financing documents before signing. * Independently verify credentials, affiliations, and representations rather than relying solely on appearances, verbal commitments, or community referrals. * Keep all communications and agreements in writing. * Carefully consider the amount of any upfront payment before work begins. BUYER BEWARE!!!!…read more Caution is advised regarding CMA Flooring,Kitchen and Bath, which has declined to refund our deposit payment back into our credit account since February 14th. Despite no services being rendered, materials provided, or work completed, aside from an initial consultation to review their proposal and material selection. We opted not to proceed due to unexpected costs added after contract signing, as well as discrepancies regarding materials specified in the original agreement. Please note, there was no cancellation stipulations in the contract. Although the company's owner Bador Obeid initially agreed to and said he processed our refund on February 16th, the owner then became unresponsive and no refund/reversal had gone thru. Following numerous unanswered calls, texts, and emails, they only responded on June 5th when we threatened to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Texas Attorney General, and local police, given the substantial amount of over $20,000 involved, which constitutes a criminal offense. A settlement was finally reached on June 10th, with a promise of immediate refund, but the owner has since become unreachable/unresponsive again. We are concerned he does not have the funds or this would have been taken care of by now. Will update if the situation changes. I would highly advised to look elsewhere unless you have a lawyer on speed dial.

This company and our experience is the exception and not the rule. Keep in mind, there is a great deal that goes into installing a floor. It encompasses many steps to do it correctly and it is a trade that requires precision. When we purchased our house in 2016 it had been a remodel with one of the rooms having hardwood floors that were not sealed and secured properly. Consequently, there were issues with moisture that exacerbated the original installation. Something a buyer could not detect initially. Fast forward to March 2026 and we interviewed two contractors who claimed from their website they had years of experience installing floors. I am sure those contractors had years of experience installing floors *incorrectly.* With Texas Best Flooring, David using specific instruments for moisture detection and moisture movement was able to analyize the data and then ascertain the root cause issues along with the subsequent impacts to the previous floor.
