Wow~I had an amazing day finally giving my diorama what it deserves, which has been sitting on the shelf without a protective cover for many years. I didn't think it would be possible to find a solution, especially near close vicinity! I needed a plexi glass cut to size, to fit my room box. It turned out that the box warped a bit, so getting a measured cut piece of plastic would not have worked, as top to bottom had very slight difference in mm and would get stuck in the middle. Johnathan helped to solve that problem by precision buffer cutting to fit the sides of the box, and it now slides to open and close to fit perfectly. Thank you so much! read more

I drove from Santa Clarita to shop with very high hopes. Call me old fashioned but I like having in-person relationships with my suppliers whenever possible. I was trying to make some small pieces for my project and found out that those pieces were too small to be made on their machines. I had to find a Machinist to get my things done, and the store owner still helped me out to where I can get started and shared some great informations regarding plastic materials that I needed to use to make my idea to work. I had an excellent experience getting plastic made for privacy on these makeshift shutters. They were able to add holes to fit the size of screws and when I brought in a piece that had been broken by somebody from my house, they offered to replace it even though they didn't cause the damage. Robert did an excellent job cutting an extra large piece of clear acrylic that we used as a counter top for our bar. We had previously used glass which shattered when we were trying to clean it! It left a huge mess that took us hours to fix. Before considering granite we decided to give acrylic a try. A glass company referred us to American Plastics and are we glad they did! Robert was very helpful - even suggesting my husband send him exact measurements even though one side of the bar cabinet was shorter than the other - though it was not noticable. It fits perfectly and looks beautiful! He was even able to round the corners which the glass company was not able to do. All of this in ONE WEEK and reasonably priced too! read more

Just got off the phone with Robert,,, called to pay a bill and started to ask me if i had been to TAP'D in downtown main street which he proceeded to tell me he owned..... any owner that projects them self the way he does has nerve.... i was specifically calling to pay AMERICAN PLASTICS for work they did not his side business... i found it unprofessional to solicit business for his restaurant and bar... and proceeded to ask me specific and intrusive questions regarding me visiting his bar and why i chose not to with my 2 children under 6..... point made,,, and then offered me to come in and he would buy me a drink if i came and talked to him.. What a great find so close to home and work!!!! I teach in Camarillo and recently refurbished a cabinet in my classroom. I wanted to protect the top. A friend recommended American Plastics. I literally walked in at 8:45am Monday and picked up my plexiglass top Tuesday at 9:00am. It fit perfectly! I'm not great at math, so I lined up my yardsticks and took pictures so we could get the measurements exact. I was taken to the work area to look at samples to find the right size corners.
