He then lowered the house and he instead of replacing the dry wall he destroyed he patched it up and his work was horrible and instead of my wall being flush it now still bows out and has to be replaced . I was going to tell him to come back and make it right by replacing dry wall but ( He Knows it was shitty job ) but said he was done ?..... Don't pay him in advanced to do a job like I did CASH and be hesitant to hire him for any job related too foundation/Framing or drywall . Getting a drywall company to do what he should have done and still haven't decided cause I don't believe in sueing people (him) for the cost of repairs . It depends on what it will cost me undecided at this point JUST BEWARE of his quality of work .

Such a hard thing to find these days so thank you again SKF for such a nice home service experience. I had a leaking toilet and I had two plumbers flake on me. I had JVP do an inspection and provide a quote (if needed) of the stucco front on my new home…read more Since I've never worked with stucco before I just wanted to make sure everything was solid and nothing in need of repair or concern. John answered his phone on my first call and stopped by my home within a few hours for a free consultation/inspection. While my request wasn't urgent I truly appreciate his responsiveness and timeliness. Good news! The stucco front is in great shape with only one small surface crack which we can easily repair ourselves with stucco putty. He pointed out a few small gaps between our windows and wood frames and made the suggestion to fill those in with caulking to avoid potential water leakage when it rains. That was nice friendly advice and again, something we can do ourselves or hire a basic handy person. JVP could have easily tried to take advantage of what probably could be perceived as a naive person (although I would never let that happen...have another company scheduled to do the same inspection) but instead was honest, professional and really informative. I know home repair reviews aren't the most exciting to read, but Yelp is my first go to place for everything. I want to make sure JVP gets the credit and consideration it deserves.
