No call, no message, just complete silence. In a critical scenario like this, that kind of lack of communication is not only unprofessional but also pretty distressing. I can't recommend this company because, based on my experience, they do not seem to prioritize their customers' emergencies or follow through on their promises.

A PO and SOW (Statement / Scope of Work) was provided in detail format, via email. With that said, this company provides pictures and a final price quote in readable electronic format. This business is professional and courteous. They spent the calories providing the information I needed by coming to my physical location of residence. "Measurements, Evaluations, Cost of Labor and resources." Currently My project is on hold due to a city infraction I am encountering. That's where I called Chris the Plumber who gave a fair quote to replace the irrigation valve and he sent his associate to replace it. We got a new irrigation valve but it turns out my gardener's diagnosis about the irrigation value didn't resolve it after all. We notified Chris and he came himself to troubleshoot the issue and it turned out to be a broken sprinkler head letting out too much water. He capped it and recommended to have our gardener replace the sprinkler head because a gardener would charge less than he would. Awesome job Chris for resolving the issue!

When one of our toilets stopped flushing, I first tried plunging it and running a six-foot auger through the line, but neither worked. Maria took my call, and Stephen and Erick arrived at our home shortly afterward. Using their equipment, they removed an approximately four-foot-long mass of palm roots from the plumbing line. Because the line had been breached, we decided to replace the damaged section up to the elbow. This was a significant project that required removing the baseboards and travertine tile, opening the concrete slab, and excavating the area to access the pipe. I explained to Maria that we were expecting international guests the following week. She assured me the entire project would be completed before their arrival, including installing new tile and reattaching the baseboards--and they delivered exactly as promised. Throughout the process, the crew worked methodically, kept the area clean, and responded promptly to every question or concern I had. The finished work looks excellent. After repainting the walls and baseboards, the bathroom looks brand new. A quote and ironed out and a date scheduled for repair the following week. After the technician left however, that's when everything fell apart with the customer experience. There was no confirmation of the visit, no emailed contract or price information of the work to be done, nor any information on what time the Kahuna team would arrive. Day of service, only the team lead was from Kahuna and the rest appeared to be subcontracted out to another company. When the team finished later in the day, the slow draining issue was NOT resolved! We had to contact their supervisor and demand that the issue with the sink be addressed since that was the entire purpose of the visit. The team arrived next day with a replacement P-trap to correct the drain issue, but left the drywall behind damaged and did not apply any plumbers putty to the p trap and it leaked until the issue was later resolved by another plumber. Long story and $12,000 later, we do NOT recommend Kahuna on the basis of lack of transparency of work, quality of work performed, and pricing that did not address the actual needs of the problem.

It's worth mentioning, my electric bill has decreased from $250/month to $55/month. So, this job will eventually pay for itself in monthly savings and rebates. I was able to finance the ($9K) job over 2 years with no interest. Very helpful! The staff is soooo nice and friendly. Shout out to Joshua, my plumber and Drew, the owner. Drew called about a month later to check-in, and make sure I was still happy with the job. WOW!! So thoughtful and considerate of them to check-in. Joshua was great and even came by on his day off to check/fix my garbage disposal and toilet issue (separate from the water heater job). They are my go-to-plumbers, going forward. I highly recommend.
